Content Cloud overview

Content Cloud is an enterprise content management solution which enables businesses of all sizes to find, extract and transform data, before delivering the information in the context needed for each business line, using a range of features including federated search, content extraction, automatic indexing, records management, controlled access encryption and compliance management, and more. As a cloud-based solution, Content Cloud gives users the flexibility to manage and deliver content anytime, anywhere, via any internet-enabled device.

Content Cloud helps find and retrieve content quickly and accurately with federated search functionality, which enables users to locate content in multiple repositories at the same time. Content Cloud also structures data according to hierarchy or documents, and enables users to configure content extraction, notes, print extensions and text searches. Users can record scripts which automate search and retrieval, and favorite documents or reports. Content Cloud allows users to access content at the line, page or report level.

Content Cloud provides users with the tools to transform and repurpose content for delivery in different formats including PDF, CSV, AFP or XML. Users can utilize queries to filter content before extraction, as well as define workflows to automate filtering, extraction, transformation and distribution processes. Store and retain data with records management capabilities and content compression technology, and ensure content meets information governance requirements and is managed securely with controlled access, encryption and compliance management functionality. Business intelligence tools also help give users valuable insight into their content.

Systemware truly wants to be not just a provider of an application, but a partner in the ongoing realtionship. They listen to what you, as a customer, wants in a product and works towards making a realization towards that need.

Pros
It's an exciting tool to introduce to users that have been bound to aged legacy systems

Cons
I think in some cases, it's vast offerings of toolsets can become overwhelming and unneccessary for users that only use content in basic forms. However, Systemware has acknowledged this and has been ensuring that the tool is adaptable as user appropriate.
