Pros

The DocuWare setup team really works with you and helps you customize the software for your needs. It's electronic identification of scanned documents and intelligent filing is top notch.
Ease of learning and use made it easy for even veteran employees to become invested in the product. We couldn't be more pleased.
Investing in DocuWare was a good decision. It provides affordable value to our organization.

Pros

Very easy to manage your digital assets. Lots of option to protect your assets , review and share with required people.
Nuxeo is good ECM tool which is easy to setup. This is good if any organization needs basic DMS or DAM features.
It is developer friendly and developers have lots of opportunities to deep dive into it and do their customization.

Cons

Lack of documentation and information on the web to troubleshoot problems on your own. The company does not seem invested in its clients' education of how to use the product.
It has allowed us to pay invoices faster, track information about who has overcharged us, and track change orders without letting them get lost in the shuffle.
No more lost documents, no more folders on the desk.

Cons

One major complaint from our users is the inability to edit documents from within the repository by launching Office, something you can do with SharePoint and Alfresco.
The issue was related to Nuxeo losing its connection to the database every night, due to us shutting down the database to do nightly backups.
Another complaint is the UI--I personally think it's clean and reasonably intuitive, but for a user base used to SharePoint and Alfresco, it can be confusing.
