Regarding sync features, software performance and reliability, Dropbox Business is by far the best option. The only downsides are the security issues in the past and the privacy problems (that made us even think about using tresorit or a self-hosted Nextcloud).
- stunning syncing technolgoy (delta sync) that only uploads changes (if you edit one sentence in a 800 pages book Dropbox only uploads that one sentence, and not the whole document) - by far better performance than all other competitors (tested on Android, Linux Mint and Windows 10) - great looking & native apps for all operating systems we use - good pricing - no security issues in the last months - strong API that integrates with many third-party programs and makes own integrations easy - additional software for businesses included (e.g. Dropbox Paper)
- huge security issues, especially in the past (e.g. I remember that it was possible to login only using the email address without password for a few hours many years ago) - files are stored in the US and Dropbox lets security agencies access all files without judicial order

We might be switching from dropbox to either Egnyte or Tresorit. As more and more of these wonderful apps and software and programs come out, the more advanced they will become so i see this becoming an issue in the future for most companies.
This is a love-hate type of relationship we have with Dropbox. On one end we love it because it can hold tons and tons of information but on the other end you can get lost within your own organization youcreate within dropbox. One feature you will love if you have a team and your team manages clients that submit documents such as a mortgage company, is how you can send the client a link to upload the documents. They just need to add a requesting feature so that the borrower can receive updated emails on what is still missing. That would be amazing.
The complexity of the system and how it requires you on dropbox business to have a minimal three licenses you have to purchase. I was a team of one in the beginning and i still had to pay a ridiculous $75/month just to use it for myself.

We store our GDPR sensitive data on Tresorit.
It's secure Continuous improvement Feature set
Due to all data being encrypted it can be slower than say, Dropbox, but then Dropbox is not secure!

A couple of years ago we searched a secure alternative to Dropbox. We found Wuala. With the discontinuation of Wuala, we migrated to Tresorit.
Easy to use as a Dropbox. Easy to share project folders in teams. Secure data storage and sync.
We were missing a backup and recovery system à la glacier.

I use it all the time for "sharing" and storing files between my computer and tablet.
First and foremost: the encryptet storage of files, and the seemless use on various platforms (Linux, Android and Windows) But Aldo the total control og sharing files with (or without) password and expirationdate og each svarer file.
I miss a built in photo-browser for sharing photos (and videos) Loke the ones found in Dropbox og Google Foto

For years, I have used Dropbox, but then I read some articles about its privacy and got frightened. I was happy to change this solution, where your data is in safe, thanks to the zero-knowledge storage. By now, the app has a fully equipped interface with great features like Dropbox has (share a library/file; file history; great mobil app for Android).
I really do not miss anything. The most wanted function was the file history (so you cannot delete a file without a chance getting it back), but it has been delivered this year.

A better alternative to Dropbox, Box, and Sky Cloud. All of which I had been using. Now I have moved almost all of my things to Tresorit.
The security aspect of this service is what makes it appealing. The company does a very good job of detailing the exact ways in which it insures the safety and security of your information
You can't retrieve a lost password. But I guess that's just a cost of security. The first time I lost my information, though, the customer service was phenomenal in trying their best to get me my service back.

Since it features client-side end-to-end encryption, it offers a more private experience than that of Dropbox, Google, Amazon, Apple & co. User experience is also good.
Chatted with their support team, and they didn't seem incredibly friendly nor knowledgeable. Additionally, Tresorit doesn't feature file distribution like Internxt's X Cloud do.

Easy to use, reliable, flexible. Just what's needed for this type of software.
Knowing about the encryption is reassuring, but the performance of the file synchronisation is much better than Dropbox. This is really good. I have a large amount of files and Dropbox used to have problems regularly where the file synchronisation was working for hours. Tresorit does the file synchronisation as I'D expect. Also, sharing folders is easy and intuitive. The desktop app for Tresorit is really good too.
When I first starting using Tresorit, the concept of a Tresor wasn't easy to grasp. But, once I got used to it, it makes so much sense and adds so much flexibility. I really like this now.

Seems secure, at least that's the promise, besides the user interface OK (but nothing special, dropbox is much better). Used Tresorit for a few years and can't really find more advantages.
- The app freezes very often, sometimes it's so bad that it can even freeze the entire machine (Mac) - Recently I've maxed out my storage and now it freezes shortly after the app is launched - It won't sync files that contain special characters. So for example, if you have lots of links to websites saved as files (they often contain "|" and other special chars) then these files won't sync. Tresorit team knows about it and hasn't done anything to fix it over the years - It often doesn't create links to shared files when using the context menu - it's hit or miss Bottom line: not all files get synced and it's very unstable. I do not recommend Tresorit. Where do all the good reviews come from? Maybe Windows version is better?

It is definitely worth the money.
Tresorit is the best and safest on the market, I think.
But it comes with a price (it is about 10 times as expensive as Dropbox, if you reckon in terms of Gbs). And you cannot access Tresorit through Webdav, so not through external clients. The good news is that the new iOS files app does allow access.

Backing up my documents and sharing them amongst my different computer and sharing with a small team
I moved from dropbox because of end-to-end encryption so the end-to-end encryption is what I liked most. Having said that, the application interface is really easy to use and so is the web-based interface. Also, I needed to have something which works on linux since half my computers run linux.
The ability to be able to collaboratively edit microsoft word documents is a weakness.
Dear Martin, Thank you for your kind words! Unfortunately, due to the encryption system, we'll most likely not be able to release collaborative editing in the near future. If you have any further feedback or feature requests, please send us a message to support@tresorit.com Take care and have a nice day! Regards, Daniel

It is easy to install on Linux, Android and Windows and I use it on all three systems concurrently. It is fast and deals smoothly with any conflicts (which are rare). I mostly use it for personal files, some business-related and some purely personal, so rarely share documents with third parties, although this is possible and straightforward to achieve. It allows me to keep important documents and records in synch between devices, both at home and when travelling abroad. Naturally, it depends on reasonable internet connections, but I cannot think of any occasion when I have been unable to access a document of which I had need at the time. I use it every day and it provides everything I need in one place.
For me, its most useful feature is that I can deploy it seamlessly on various different platforms and operating systems with the added benefit of all data being encrypted on every device.
I run a small business and margins are tight. I mostly use open-source software that is either free or based on a contributive model. Tresorit is relatively expensive for my actual business needs but I can also use it to provide an excellent repository for personal files as well.

Overall, I'm very pleased with what Tresorit offers and I'll be a happy customer for a very long time.
The thing I like most about Tresorit is the seamless integration between my devices, both PC and Mac. It's been a smooth transition moving over from Dropbox. I also share a lot of private documents/images and Tresorit makes the process easy and secure. It's absolutely worth the higher price as compared to other cloud storage services.
I store a lot of images and the preview can take some time to appear in my finder. It almost seems as if it's having to download the file to my system before it lets me see what it is. It may be due to another reason, but it's a bit frustrating especially when I'm in a hurry.

Over the years our medium sized non-profit has tried over half a dozen different cloud sharing/sync platforms. The closest one that came to meeting our needs was Cubby. When that service was discontinued, we explored the options and found that Tresorit had everything we need and then some. Simpler than Google Drive, more flexible than One Drive, more robust than DropBox, Tresorit works flawlessly in the background to sync all of our files quickly and error free. This is the best solution for us by far.

Suberb with firs rate technical support
Reliable off-site backup that is fully encrypted and so secure Automatic backup as files are created / modified / deleted Superb techical support Together with regular on-site backup this combination gives the business assurance that valuabel documents remain secure and ewasily accessible
When a file is deleted from the company hard drive, it would be good if deleted files are kept on Tresorit so they can be recovered if deledted in error. I think this facility is already present as I have had occasion to retrieve a deleted file in the recent past

Tresorit is the central storage point for all my business (and private) data, especially - source codes - accounting data and tax documents providing hassle-free - secure backups - automatic sync on different workstations - an easy means of providing download links for customers (for patches, demos etc) As an additional bonus (not the main reason for use), it is convenient to access copies of all important data from all over the world (copies of passport, id, insurance and tax documents...)
It is easy to use, highly performant, secure and very reliable. I am a heavy user for more than two years now and I did not experience a single critical malfunction.
Well, it does not feature time-travel... what can I say? There are no shortcomings I am aware of.

Security and privacy is a must in my business and Tresorit are serious about both security and privacy, so much so, that only I know my login details. And I love the way that any changes, subtractions, and additions to my Tresors is immediately reflected. Tresorit is always improving. When you think there is nothing more they can do to better their cloud, they come up with something else. They are modern, forward thinking, and offer much more than even the most well-known cloud service. Last, but far from least, if you contact Tresorit, you don't have to wait around for days for them to get back to you. Great cloud.
