Most popular features of all Collaboration apps
25 reviewers had the following to say about Droplr's features:
I was pleasantly surprised by the new version of droplr. Drag and drop integration with major productivity apps is not only a killer feature, it's also fun to do!
Pros
I used to use Google Keep to store images that could then be easily imported into Google Docs, my primary writing tool.
Cons
Drops in free version are automatically deleted after 30 days.

Another great feature – surprisingly not promoted heavily – is the ability to drag and drop or upload images to create mood boards.
Pros
The ease and speed of uploading a file, getting an instant short link and sharing it safely with anyone anywhere.
Cons
Nothing comes to mind that's missing. Droplr is one of those apps that works so well and is so intuitive to use, you don't even think about it.

The ability to quickly capture, annotate, and share what I see on the screen helps me communicate more effectively with my team and with customers.
Pros
Capturing screenshots and screen recordings is fast, reliable, and easy. Having the ability to organize these screenshots into groups and share the grouped shots with colleagues is a great way to share inspiration, ideas, and revisions.
Cons
Things like privacy controls are not well described in the interface.

Easy sharing of files and metrics about when and how often a share was viewed.
Pros
I need to share a link with a colleague or friend then I just drag and drop onto the taskbar icon or use a handy keyboard shortcut.
Cons
Honestly, the upgrade process used to be a bit clunky in the earlier versions, however, since that has been reworked I cannot find any flaws.

Version 5.0 initially launched with a few bugs that have since been resolved entirely.
Pros
Super easy and intuitive graphical user interface; great all-in-one productivity/collaboration/communication tool; Version 5.0 is really cool too - love the new launch screen.

Pros
The speed of being able to create Drops, ease of use, the ability to draw on Drops and access Drops across all my devices,
Cons
There's no shortcut in the menu to export a screenshot Drop, ie. I have to open the Drop and then right-click and save it to my desktop.

Overall, Droplr has become part of my normal workflow. I share pictures and files regularly and best of all, I can depend on it.
Pros
I like the most that it's cross-platform and that it practically functions as a video-sharing tool for me as well.
Cons
The ios app and laptop apps are a bit inconsistent. so far I have found no way to send a link to a file with the password included on the ios app in one step; this works automatically like this on the mac app.

It made uploading files easier than before.
Pros
Works when I need it to, and flows well with my workflow. I don't have to leave an app to open this one - it simply exists in my menubar and copies directly to my clipboard.
Cons
It seems to ever-so-slighty be getting paywalled. When I first used it, the free tier was enough, now the free tier is almost as good as gone. There's no benefit to pay for something like this when competitors offer more with a few more obstacles to overcome.

I liked everything it did (and does) feature wise. I immediately started having issues with features and tools not working.
Pros
The features are really cool. Branded URL for Screenshots, Screencasts, and File Sharing.
Cons
Consistently buggy. It is very normal for various features to have bugs up to and including not working at all.

I'm extremely happy with this app, but there's ONE thing that it doesn't do that I REALLY need: copying the file into my clipboard right after taking the screenshot/recording.
Pros
Since I have it, I'm using CloudApp much less, as its interface is better and it offers a much better functionality to organise files online.
Cons
I sometimes need this functionality more often than the link sharing, so that's the only reason I haven't ditched CloudApp.

Pros
Being able to drag multiple files to the icon and have them automatically zip and upload.
Cons
The annotations editor is still glitchy a lot of the time. Recording screencasts/GIFs can be clunky. An option to have video with audio removed would be handy. It would be really useful to easily create image/video "collections" on one page that could be shared with a link. Searching/categorising in the application could be improved, it's hard to find things a lot of the time.

With Droplr, I can capture screenshots and screen recordings easily on both my computer and phone. I may upload the captured images and videos to the company's own servers and then share them with my family and colleagues. Droplr is a paid service.
Pros
Droplr has a more robust plan geared towards enterprise users with more demanding needs; it offers features like more storage space and an online dashboard.
Cons
Although Droplr is not expensive, there are free alternatives that offer similar functionality.

Pros
Super happy to have the ability to use images locally by dragging them off the Droplr window!
Cons

Helps me communicate easier with coworkers and clients on a day-to-day basis.
Pros
Love the tagging function and the Mac applet is very handy so you don't have to switch to your browser every time. Customer support has been great whenever something comes up. Seems to be in constant development. Overall a really handy service for quick screenshot, annotation, screencast sharing and simple communication!
Cons
Although good, the app needs some improvement: - Ability to customize the tools at the top of the menu bar applet - Editing items in the Mac app window instead of browser - Better screencast functionality, like editing the recording area size, position, controls, etc

I’m happy with the tool and will continue to use it.
Pros
East to use, helpful when screenshooting and saving files. Also easy to sure.
Cons
Sometimes I think it’s a bit unnecessary as I use an apple computer that has built in screenshot functionality, but it’s still nice to have

Plus all the extra, new features (which they keep adding more) just give you added benefits and functionality. Awesome product!
I need to constantly do this, so I love how I can be in control of this option.
Pros
I love how I am able to upload all of my files and especially my favorite files to this software.
Cons
I dislike the fact that the dashboard seems a bit boring.

Pros
Droplr is so easy to use that it has become a seamless tool in my daily workflow. Whether creating a simple screenshot, annotating/redacting images, or sharing files, one key-combo does it all.
Cons
Very occasionally I will have to restart the application from the top toolbar after freezing/seizing up. No big deal. I really love Droplr.

Pros
I like that it's easy to quickly capture and annotate screenshots, upload files, create notes and create record screencasts.
Cons
Some of the recent app updates are a little rough around the edges... the code snippet utility was very useful before is now not mapped to a shortcut, and the interface isn't as intuitive for that type of upload as it once was.

Pros
1. Pretty cheap then what you get based on resources. 2. Good for instructors or someone who likes to make videos. 3. High-quality video captures on the go. 4. Droplr page loads fast. 5. Annotation.
Cons
Where a different free brand like Loom is much smoother.

Quick, fast, efficient, and non-cluttering screen shot tool. It's a real delight to use, and I'd be lost without it now.
Pros
It's a wonderful tool for quickly taking snapshots and marking them up, rather than taking a SS, importing to Photoshop, and dealing with layers.
Cons
Seems a bit pricey for what it is compared to SnagIt, but since work pays for it I don't focus on this as much.

We now go from the idea (captured with a drop screen shot) from one of our creators who annotates it easily with drawing, arrows, and text, and then sends it by slack or text instantly as it is already copied on their clipboard to a design team and developers to get thoughts.
Pros
We now go from idea (captured with a drop screen shot) from one of our creators who annotates it easily with drawing, arrows and text, and then sends it by slack or text instantly as it is already copied on their clipboard to a design team and developers to get thoughts. They comment back and send their own drops with screen shots, etc to GET THE POINT ACROSS IN IMAGES AND ANNOTATIONS rather than writing it out or talking on the phone.
Cons
The tagging works well but I wish we could organize drops into custom groups as well

Thanks Joshua for the great review! We have shared tagging coming mid-January so keep your eyes open for that. You will be able to organize tags and share them amongst groups!
Pros
Very easy to use and very fast.
Cons
If you take a screenshot and save it on your finder as a file and than drag and drop that on to Jira it shows an unsupported file.
