Pros

We can store shared files, have a nice company directory, and post fun updates to all. We are an international company and it is a great tool for keeping remote employees connected.
Good breadth of functions available. Like the ability to use as document repository w/search function.
I like how easy it is to navigate and also use. I mostly use the posting/wiki/tracker tools which are very user friendly.

Pros

Excellent messaging features, including practical things like tagging people, keyboard shortcuts, and inline attachment previews, as well as fun features like GIF's and Memes.
Customer service is great. I am very glad I switched to Ring Central, not only do I get better service but for a better price.
The thing that I like most about Glip is that it is super easy to use. I like that you can easily share files and that conversation history stays in the window at all times.

Cons

Inability to open (view mode only) Excel sheets containing macro's. Other than that, there are no downsides to using this.
The product has potential but with the many failures on deployment and configuration, this is a product to be purchased for cheap, rather than for the price that they are asking.
Users who manage content have many problems. On-Prem is still an immature product.

Cons

I no longer worry if a task is going to be completed on time or forgotten. WIth Glip, we are able to stay organized and communicate more effencently.
Unfortunately, there was so much introduced so quickly that Glip was pushed to the background and forgotten about. It’s easily forgettable and we moved on without it.
Slack would send you a magic link you tap to sign in. It's especially annoying, since I'm being logged out on my mobile app quite often.
