Evernote is like having an electronic journal that you can carry everywhere with the benefits of organization and conciseness. I love how it helps keep all my meetings in different folders.
Evernote could be done better but still has it's good things. It is great when it integrates with other software like Slack, Outlook or Google Drive and has a great search tool to find information.
The UI was very clean and nice to look at. I was also pleased with the variety of font options and customizable sections of the notes which I saved as templates.
Pros
Very user friendly and the UI is easy on the eyes. I also like that it was very easy to set up and affordable.
I love using ClockIn Portal because it its easiness. The app is very convenient and I love that you can track your employees time on your cell phone when you are away from the desk.
I like the price and the simple, yet effective layout. It is also nice that you can view cumulative hours in the reports section.
Cons
The most disgusting thing is the interface it is much irritating and has to follow much more steps for a particular work storing. And also the free version is only limited to 2 devices only.
Training on use of the software can be tough for some users, but there is enough documentation to deal with any trouble from lack of experience.
Sometimes I can get lost in the endless categories and subcategories that are possible to make. And notes can sometimes hard to distinguish from each other.
Cons
Through my account, I can access all employees’ clock in times and know exactly when they showed up for work. I was worried because it is web based.
The limited availability of options and the difficulty in adjusting time cards for missed clock in or out and lunches for employees.
Limited things that you can actually do within the software as it pertains to sick time, independent contractors, and wishing there was a group rate.
