Notes and reminder organization becomes simpler

2018-07-19

Going paperless as possible and Evernote is the primary tool to accomplish this goal.

Pros

- Works on multiple operating systems (windows, mac osx) - Notes/shared documents are synchronized between mobiles, tablets, computes - Single windows for all kinds of storage (todo, notes, passwords, shared documents, audio, video, etc...)

Cons

- Payment processing for license renewals are tedious job - integration with other cloud storage like dropbox/icloud is not supported

Number one place to take notes

2018-02-07

Pros

Organising notes have never been so easy, been using for tons of different cases, even off work! For ex, meeting minutes, to-do list, brainstorming, planning a trip, even writing down guitar chords.

Cons

Its quite expensive for the additional features and iCloud storage, which can be accomplish using other softwares.

I. Love. Evernote.

2017-02-06

Yes, I know there are other programs out there. But, I got introduced to Evernote after hearing everyone I follow online talk about it. So, I signed up. And, I've been in love ever since. I use it daily to track just about everything. I rarely open up MS Word anymore. I typically compose in Evernote and move it over to MS Word if I need to print it for professional consumption. Otherwise, Evernote is my bestest friend! I used the free version for a while and then signed up for the paid version because it allows you to annotate PDFs. That function didn't work the way that I thought it would. But, I was still satisfied with Evernote so I didn't cancel my subscription.

Pros

It's been much easier to use/access material than iCloud.

Cons

The reason I upgraded was because I wanted to be able to annotate PDFs. But that function didn't work the way I intended. Instead of printing with the annotations on the document itself, it prints the annotations as a separate document from the PDF - which was useless for my purposes.

Recommendations to others considering Evernote

I've read other "professional" reviews of the product that talk about Evernote's competitiveness with other similar products. As a consumer, I want something that works. And, Evernote works for me. I'm not looking for anything else.
