Overall, I think Evernote is a handy place for storing notes and receipts.
I like the tagging function and that Evernote is cross platform.
It's very similar to OneDrive which is free, so I don't think it's worth upgrading to the paid version.

For business I prefer used different software, example OneNote (Microsoft), that in environment totally managed (with OneDrive too) is really great TEAM NOTE.
it's really friendly, I can write note and will be easy have it in other devices just login to my personal area
It's really nice for personal used, for business I prefer other product ... product that can guarantee more secure environment.

Evernote has helped organise my vast array of work documents across multiple devices. There are cases where I cannot use it, but in day to day life they are few and fairly far between.
It always works, no matter if you're on your phone, tablet, PC, mac, it just works. It doesn't even require an internet connection! Excellent layout and seamless integration cross-platform.
It isn't as fully formed as other tools, I find myself simply using Microsoft Word and Onedrive for most document sharing as Evernote is missing some key features I need.

It was the first program for file mangement that i used. At the beginning it was very interesting to use because it had many innovative features that other programs did not have, but with the passing of time they were relegated in characteristics and their use ceased to be interesting. Sadly it does not offer anything that other programs like Drive or OneDrive do not offer you with the disadvantage that most people use Drive and OneDrive so people prefer not to be switching to other programs.
It does not offer you any extra to decide to change from another program to evernote

Evernote is without a doubt the software that has most revolutionized my way of working in recent years. Since always, I juggled with files and their backups, texts stored as word files, emails, ... It was everywhere. Now it's all centralized and I'm saving a lot of time. Plus, since everything is automatically backed up in the cloud and synchronized with my phone, I don't have to worry about losing data.
Being a bit paranoid, I've always liked to make several local and cloud backups of everything I use. I regret that Evernote does not allow Pcloud (which has requested it many times) to open its API to allow users of 2 software to save all Evernote content automatically in Pcloud. Facebook, Googldrive, Dropbox, Instagram and onedrive have allowed Pcloud to do so. How about Evernote?

A very smooth way to boost productivity
I like the fact that Evernote Business really helps team to boost their productivity: you can integrate a lot of apps with it - Google Drive, Google Agenda, WeTransfer, Trello, DropBox, OneDrive - consequently, Evernote becomes the go-to platform to implement group projects. Also the app is super easy to use, and I'm used to checking it on my phone and on my desktop. Also you can easily share files with this software.
I don't really like the interface of the app - the colors, the fact that it looks quite empty/blank when there is nothing written. I really prefer the way other apps look, like "ColorNote". It could be improved with a more flat design.

Ability to retrieve older documents with ease. I can also, whether mid-conversation or during a meeting or presentation, quickly retrieve information that I've forgotten or to elaborate on someone else's ideas.
I've used this software since 2013. This is one program that I CANNOT live without. I store EVERYTHING in Evernote. I probably don't even use 1/2 of of the functions available with this software, but I'm still determined to master it though! Pro number one for me is the convenience! I use the browser version and the app, when on my Mac, and the app on my phone, too. The capture tool on my Mac makes...
Now, the "downside". Using this program since 2013 should tell you, that any downsides EN does have, are vastly overshadowed by it's shine. Shifting your lifelong organizational habits from a file/ folder based system to En's "note/ notebook" system overwhelms some people, I'm sure. I struggled with this, myself! Don't let it, though! If you remember, I already applauded the awesome search capabilities...

Plenty of cloud space Great interaction with several other apps (would like to see more, like Evernote (I don't like Notes at all)
1 Tb of cloud space: at this very moment this has been enough for me, I have tons of family pictures, several client files with pictures, data files, etc., and is a lot of space (so far) Ease of integration with non-MS apps.
webpage interface could be more appealing towards to organizing, literally, thousands of files. search within does not always give good / accurate results.

I have used OneDrive for work for several years. There are a handful of shortcomings, but overall I've been very pleased with it.
Because it is Microsoft it has excellent integration with the Office suite. It's also intuitive to use, very simple to both share files and adjust rights, and the versioning history is incredibly easy to use.
I wish it worked better with Microsoft Teams - specifically I would like it to be easier to move files from OneDrive to a Teams channel. The process is clunky enough that it's actually easier to just download the file from OneDrive and then upload it to Teams.

I prefer the product to all the alternatives I have used but I think there is still room for improvement. That's more a comment on the industry than on the product.
Every other file sharing product I have used had some sort of access issues. Either you lose connection or files are out of synch or links don't work. I haven't run into anything like that. It just works the way it is supposed to.
For a product that is really made to improve collaboration I feel it could do better. It does have integration with teams but accessing files through Teams seems to be quirky.

Sharing documents across teams and storing internal documentation
Its free with office 365. It does a good job but its not the most intuitive solution on the block. We used dropbox which I liked slightly better. At over 1K per year for our user base, I just couldn't justify buying it when on edrive was free
Not always intuitive. Sometimes the local sync doesn't work and you have to walk everyone through the setup on multiple document libraries

An excellent product from a company that understands where cloud computing is going. I syncs right up with all the microsoft office suite in terms of file compatibility and the cloud served office suite is fantastic. That's everything I need on a daily basis.
Adds a whole new level to my data protection. It is extremely full featured but easy to use and navigate. It's tied in directly to Microsoft 360 from which I and 5 other members of my household have access to 1 TB of space for each person. It has all the bells and whistles of any good cloud package and does file sharing safely and easily. It also provides a separate strong box for your files that you want an extra level of security for.
I would really like to see the addition of more functionality for teams for collaboration on projects.

Very helpful - Highly recommended for Marketing and Sales teams!
As a marketer, I need to ensure my sales team is always updating and using the most updated collateral. Using OneDrive helps keep everything organized, consistent, and updated across our departments. No more separate files. We are always updating the same file and creating new versions. it's great!

positive, it saves me couple of times with a PC replacement
i like the reliability of the tool, especially if auto-started with login and in conjunction with Teams. it helps navigate through Teams channels and docs, with the power of Windows Explorer
only defect i have found is that user is not suggested to use the backup function, and, in case of PC replacement, this can be an issue

The ease of use in its ability to sync and integrate with other Microsoft products. It's also, as a standalone, easy to use and useful, especially in its ability to hold documents, manage permissions, and share across the organization.
