I love the Slack integration

2019-01-24

Pros

Keeping tasks and notes organized can be messy, and I love how organized this software has been for me. The slack integration is great to keep all info in one system, all while getting notifications from Slack.

Cons

The pricing is reasonable, though I wish I could pay a one time fee. I'd rather have to pay a large amount at once over their freemium model.

The only place for your business notes and places

2018-10-04

Working on a programming project which involved both front and back-end programmers along with the business client, uploading and collaborating with the front end design made it very simple and quick to get new designs approved.

Pros

It is so easy to upload all your different documents and to place notes in a snap. Then be able to share the information you want with only the people that need it or the whole team. It made collaborating on projects with other team members so easy to see the different changes and to keep track of what was changed or updated.

Cons

I had issues with being able to connect to slack due to it not accepting my log in information.

Evernote Business - A Trello Replacement?

2019-01-08

I wouldn't recommend using this software in the field. For what functionality it provides, their are other better products out there that are worth the price.

Pros

Evernote Business is an entire cloud productivity suite for your organization that provides tools to allow users to work better together. Their software allows you to share notes, track the status of projects, and integrates with all major project management software.

Cons

While this suite integrates well with other project management systems, specifically Slack, I don't think it's project management is a replacement for Trello.

Expensive but useful gift

2018-08-02

At last our business documents got to order! Even lazy team member found Evernote useful for organizing their papers.

Pros

Recently we integrated Evernote with our Slack and when it comes to useful statements in some conversation I always clip these notes.

Cons

No ability to install the app on own premices. Our new client is pretty sceptical to software that is not installed at their servers. However, after using Evernote for a month, they agreed us to keep using Business subscription.

It is a great tool to manage your company's projects

2018-12-30

The productive management of our projects, meeting the established deadlines and the integration with other applications of daily use in our company have been a determining factor in the development of our projects, having as main objective the efficiency throughout the process of execution

Pros

One of its advantages is how well it integrates with other applications such as Slack and Google Drive.

Cons

It can be a somewhat expensive manager for some companies otherwise it seems a fairly complete application

Elephant Helps Me Remember

2018-10-05

Pros

It is great for taking notes, creating task lists, brainstorming, and integrate it with all the other basic tools I use at work (like Slack, Google Apps).

Cons

Everyone has a content management tool preference - whether that be Wunderlist, Bear, or even Apple Notes. It can be difficult to get others to adopt Evernote Business if they have another favorite tool (though the pricepoint is great and is hard to beat).

My external brain for random clippings and ideas

2019-02-01

Pros

It's my go-to for dumping random ideas, web pages, and notes that I don't know where else to put. It's simple and gives me a place for these random snippets. The search is fantastic, and the syncing between devices, desktop, Chrome extension, and mobile is very helpful.

Cons

Honestly, the biggest "con" is not so much Evernote, as it is changing my behavior to always fire up Evernote for my snippets, instead of... Slack, TextEdit, Gmail, iMessage, and so on.

Best note keeping app to organize notes

2018-12-23

Overally Evernote is no one note taking app out there. I have no problem using it. It's a great way to keep your personal & team notes safely. I highly recommend this to everyone out there.

Pros

You will get great feature set with business uses including note sharing with other business users, AI-suggestions, 3rd party service integrations such as Google Drive, Slack, Outlook etc.

Cons

Paid version is bit pricey. Handwriting tool is sometimes bit delay. Sometimes mobile version will crash but they will send you app updates constantly to eliminate them.

Evernote Business has allowed us to create an excellent information company

2018-08-27

Pros

It is also convenient that the program has the ability to integrate with Google Drive, SalesForce, Slack and other useful services.

Cons

The cost of connecting each individual user is quite high. This is especially important for small companies with a limited budget.

I LOVE ORGANIZATION!

2019-03-26

The new norm is to pay monthly for different apps and services. Sometimes it is very worth and sometimes it isn't. I used Evernote Business when I really, really had the need for it. Right now I don't but if I need it again I would pay.

Pros

I used this software while managing the production of a short film and it was great to be able to track where others were in the process and the areas where a little slack needed to be picked up.

Cons

Sometimes it wasn't the best for managing final documents. Document editing is only possible via the computer app which is not the most convenient for on the go. Sometimes the system can run a little slow and the premium pricing can be...premium.

My preferred productivity tool

2019-02-06

The integration of Evernote, Google Drive, Slack and Outlook (it allows for Salesforce integration too, but I don't use Salesforce), is killer -- those are what I need every day to get things done.

Pros

The features are particularly useful, especially document scanning and handwriting search

Cons

It's nitpicky, but I don't love the visuals

The "original" is still one of the best!

2019-02-12

If you need to bring a team together, looking at the same content with real-time changes visible to everyone, Evernote might be your best option...and it's a good one!

Pros

Collaboration is the name of the game with Evernote, and the ability of the software to work with other quality products (like Slack, Google Drive and Salesforce) is another clincher.

Cons

The price point is competitive with similar products, but it seems like other offerings can do similar tasks as Evernote for less money. Granted, you always get what you pay for, and Evernote is still tops in so many ways. The only other "con" I experienced was that we would have liked to have had other software integration options, but that was really pretty specific to our industry (publishing).

Nice but is still not massive

2018-10-16

It's nice but I feel it's not differentiated, feels like the same as all the collab softwares like Drive, Evernote or Things.

Pros

It has nice tools for co-work and online sharing

Cons

It is not massive yet, so almost anyone has it, and people prefer working with what they know like Google Drive

Absolutely the best, easiest inter-office communication software.

2018-06-26

Our entire company can communicate with the greatest of ease.

Pros

From trivial things like emojis and avatars to the important software integrations with Google, Salesforce, Evernote and more.

Cons

There are occasional crashes and a current known bug with autocorrect causing issues on the app itself, but using Slack as a webpage via Chrome is smooth.

Gets more powerful every release

2018-11-07

We use Slack across our organization and I would really be sad if it wasn't available. Nothing else does what Slack does as well as slack does it.

For instance it blends very well with Evernote making sharing very easy.

Cons

Keeping track of all my channels can be difficult. They have made things easier lately though.

Slack, everyday communication tool

2018-12-05

Pros

Slack is easy to use, has capabilities to tailor it to teams projects and has a great user interface. Works seamlessly on all devices I use.

Cons

The best IMing platform available today

2019-02-14

I have nothing but great things to say about Slack. It’s a great alternative to email and keeps conversations moving quickly. It make a it easy to collaborate with many users whethe that be in a public channel or a private one. The social element of Slack is great too. Users gain back their personalities that the draconian IMing apps lack (e.g. Jabber and Skype). The phone integration is seamless as well. I wish my current organization would use Slack.

Pros

Ease of use Channels functionality for collaborative conversations Ability to “star” messages Social features Add-ins and integrations with Gmail, Dropbox, Evernote, Trello, etc.

Cons

The only con is that as far as I know, it cannot be hosted on-prem.
