I run a small business with employees in different geographical regions. It is very easy to share documents and have several users remotely work on them.
The only thing I wished existed, but that's probably over-the-top, is a functionality so the Google Docs on Google Drive could be used as virtual data room and getting stats on usage.

Great for capturing data, collaborating with virtual folks, and viewing shared work.
Easy to use, very similar to Microsoft Office tools that do the same things, easy to share documents, forms, etc.
Sometime the features in Google Sheets fall a bit short of Excel, but just on advanced features

Cloud technology is now at every step and from this can't escape. I am glad that now instead of the usual Word there are Google Docs with almost the same functionality. The huge advantage of storing documents in the cloud is reliability - so you will not lose the contract, the technical tasks that are given out by management.
Whatever it was, I doubt that my data is 100% protected from theft by virtual intruders. And I'm afraid to keep serious information there.

I did multiple projects using this. However, I think for final output, I would use word.
It's free!!! Multiple people can login and work on a document at the same time. This creates a virtual study room. Really handy for group projects. Another nice thing is auto-save. Whatever happens, your work is always safe.
Less features than office. However, you can always download plugins.

Very time efficient tool, many options to organize and share personal and public documentation
It only takes a short while to get accustomed with the virtual office assistant, which is more efficient, accurate and fast than any assistant could ever be! Sharing the accurate archive with the entire office team, from any location, levas little room for organisational errors.
if the users are not respecting the basic rules and features of uploading and archiving, the folders and the updated versions can get a bit messed up, but with a short training and explanation of procedures, it should work out in the end.

I consider that Google Docs is indispensable in my work, all the documents that I need to write on a daily basis making use of Google's virtual platform and I have never lost any data of my information, so I think that the greatest benefit of Google Docs is that be a virtual application where everything is saved automatically.
I like it to be a very intuitive application, to keep up to date and to allow me to create any type of documents from a single platform, since in Google Docs I have access to Google presentation, Google Sheet and Drive which I find very useful, because in my teaching career these 4 applications are indispensable.
I have nothing to add, Google Docs is an excellent application.

Generally okay, still lots of room for improvement.
The main reason I use this software is it provides an inexpensive option for documents editing and collaboration. This is what I use everyday to draft letters and legal documents. I love that it is clean and simple to use. It has most of the basic features that I require.
Not as feature rich as Microsoft Word. There are some areas where it doesn't satisfy my needs. For instances, the ability to add a watermark. Another big one is page numbering. There isn't enough flexibility with that. I need to the ability to number certain pages. Sometimes I want to number certain pages from 1 to 10 stop there and then start another document from 1 to 5. This would be much more convenient for me.

Doesn't have a lot of some of the more expensive brands features but it also doesn't have that pricetag either

overall, this software helps avoid delays of not being in the same room
ease of use among different users. the software allowed for changes to be made and shared across a wide span of users.
There wasn't anything highly negative that stood out to me enough to negatively review the software.

Overall I really recommend using Docs, great if you use other google applications and are working with others.
Easy to use, with all the functions that you need for a document creator. Great for sharing or collaborating with others. Works great with other google

Best for organizations which requires shared data files to update it instantly and corrections can be made simultaneously
Ease of use, converting the file from one format to another effortlessly. Sharing the document to your colleague or friends to share your progress in matter of seconds and that creates room for instant correction in any data. Access to people with editor, commenter and viewer option shows the uniqueness of this product.
At first, i used the online version of it in the chrome browser. whenever there is an fluctuation in the data it goes offline and ask me to report it to the administrator.

The software has been very beneficial in the virtual classroom and enables collaboration effectively.
The software is easy to use and it is great for group projects as it facilitates collaboration
It is easy to use however, sometimes the transition from Microsoft word to Google Docs is an issue as it sometimes doesn't align the document as the original one. It requires more effort to realign the document.

Excellent.
No need to press save button. Cross device means easily I can work on multiple devices whether while traveling on my smartphone or desktop/laptop in my office. Shareable link means easily share on my website (with an option to regulate access through public/private setting, allow edit or just view), over email, and anywhere on the web. The free plan that is provided with an individual Google account seems sufficient.
Cannot find any negative point except that there is always a room for improvement.

Version control of documents with real-time updates. Sharable and manageable across a virtual team.
Sharable document that is updated in real time (no more version control issues). Able to download in more widely used formats, like Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, etc.
The organizing of files could be more user-friendly. I find DropBox more intuitive and give more control of how to organize with folders.

I recently got some water damage on my laptop and was concerned that I would be unable to create the documents i needed. With Google Docs, I just go in, choose which format I want and type away. It even allows me to store documents away in folders. It also allows me to edit which document I want offline, which is great when the coverage in your home isn't so great. The fact that I can log into any computer or phone and pick up where I left off makes this program a winner to me!
I don't really have any cons foe Google Docs. It's literally like I have a virtual office everywhere and anywhere I go.

We are constantly using Google Docs to edit group projects even when we're not in the same room.
I can edit docs anywhere I am just be going onto my phone and accessing them. The mobile application makes it easy.
I don't like that you need a separate application, apart from Google Drive, to edit docs, but that's it.

Overall, Google Docs is a very good software for what it serves. It definitely has room for improvement.
What is great about Google Docs is that you have the ability to share or have access to you doc files via any Internet connection.
What I don't like about Google Docs is the lack of some similar functionalities that other software, such as Microsoft Word, uses in word processing. Therefore, there is some learning and adapting to translate some of the data over.

my experience has been great, since this help me a lot in my virtual studies.
I like that in actual times where we can't reunite to work together, this tool helps a lot to work in a document simultaneosly with different users, specially when some peers don't have the same availability as you to reunite and discuss any topic you are working on, whether university or work purposes.
By the usage I've given to it, I don't have any cons. The actual software works fine for me in my current purposes.

Will definitely recommend google docs because of its features. very user friendly, anyone from student, professional or business owners can easily use this application.
First of all it's Free, and packed with helpful features like automatic saving. You can access your work from any device conveniently.
There still room for improvement in terms of presentation program, limited themes and so on.

The ability to collaborate on documents across a virtual team is key for our Agency.
This is so small, but I wish there was a way to opt out of saving a doc because I sometimes open it just to have a place to write, and then it saves and shows up in my overall summaries and I have to go in and delete them all.

Easy to upload files, create folders, add users
I looked for, but could not find a search function; therefore, some docs were uploaded several times. A feature which advises if a doc exists already would be great
