Pros

Filestream integrates perfectly with Windows Explorer. I LOVE that I can access files on my computer that are on the shared drive in the same way I would access a file in MyDocuments.
Overall I am pleased with drive. It is user friendly and being someone who is not tech savvy it is nice to be able to use without having to contact support.
Overall, I am very happy with Google Drive. It is a good investment when backing up your files.

Pros

I used this majority of my way in high school, college and now the post graduate work like. It’s so easy to navigate and I LOVE IT I share documents with my colleges ans co workers it’s amazing.
Super easy to use since it's just like Microsoft Office. Great if your device doesn't have Office and you need to use the same platforms.
I love how easy it is to use and how file sharing is super integrated. The quality for the cost of the product is super.

Cons

There isn't much I don't like about google drive. The offline work can be a little tricky at times and I have lost a few sentences due to this feature.
There is some frustration for lack of support for older devices which sometimes are just used for storage themselves.
Furthermore, it seems to keeps failing to sync a specific type of file (.suo , a Visual Studio related file) which however is only just a bit annoying and does not cause any trouble.

Cons

Some options are missing from it, but that is to be expected from a web-based app. The only thing I dislike is how hard it is to open the documents generated in Google Docs through other software.
The downside of this is that someone can edit the document as you are presenting and mess with your presentation or confuse your line of thoughts.
The icons are small and it's easy to accidentally press the wrong button or hit the wrong combination of keystrokes and change the menu into tiny icons with no explanations.

Easy to collaborate

Reviewed a year ago

Google drive is great and allows for us to be more efficient in our collaborative work.

Pros

We like the ability to share a document with others quickly and easily. When working with others we want to be able to make quick changes, be in conversation, and come out with a finished product, all by working on a document. Google Drive allows us to do those things. You can save to the drive, so that the most recent version is there available to everyone.

Cons

It can get confusing between Google Drive, Google Docs, and Google Sheets.

I have used Google Docs for years. Both for personal and professional applications. Google Docs has never let me down!

Pros

I love that I can keep track of all my files and teammates' files in one place. The search bar makes it really easy to find documents or sheets that I need.

Cons

It can get a bit crazy in Google Drive. If you aren't careful you'll have a mess on your hands. Make sure to keep everything organized from day one or you might lose important documents.

Google Drive: Cloud Storage Service

In my experience with Google Drive, I consider it an efficient and fast cloud storage service with a minimalist interface for the user, which facilitates the management of your options. One of its best features is its synchronization with other Google services, such as Gmail and Google Docs, it also has the availability of stored information, its only disadvantage is that the space is shared with other services such as Sheets, documents, Google+ or Gmail.

The space is shared with other services such as Google+ or Gmai

Easy way to save, review and share documents

Reviewed 4 years ago

Generally Google Docs and Google Drive have been the most useful software.

Pros

Google docs is very easy to use. I frequently use Google Spreadsheets for budgeting purposes, and to save Word documents or similar onto a platform I can access almost anywhere. You can share a document with someone and both can simultaneously edit and make comments to the side. Wonderful for working with someone from a distance or just using it for yourself. No need to hit the save button, because it's automatic.

Cons

It's not very compatible with Apple Pages.

Google Docs

Quick and easy word processor if you don't need complex features

Reviewed 5 years ago

Easy daily word processor. Links with Google Drive and Google Classroom seamlessly

Pros

Using Google Drive, Docs is a great addition as it is already backed up on my account so I never have to worry about losing files

Cons

Limited features. Converting from Microsoft Word causes a lot of issues, I have found it is better to only copy text, no formatting.

Google Docs

Perfect for Groups

Pros

I've used this for every group project I've ever done. So easy to collaborate!

Cons

I wish it was directly connected to your Google Drive. You can access Docs from Drive, but you cannot access Drive from Docs.
