Shocking to discover that while there is so many positive add-ons and features, the add-on feature for Microsoft Word (and it's better than the built-in Word spell/grammar checker), is not compatible or made for Macs. Whuuut? Hopefully this will change but I was excited to add it & only let down to discover I couldn't. The suggestions for things like "this is a passive voice" are helpful so I know I need to change it but it's not as intuitive nor offers suggested alternatives for those 2-3 word phrases so I either skip them or try and look it up somewhere else. It's not a CON but should be noted: this is not meant for use in SEO writing. It's a spelling/grammar/punctuation/etc editor.

While Grammarly is a phenomenal addition that I highly recommend, here are some observations and concerns: - It's honestly expensive. The premium version comes at a fee, so I recently just downgraded to use the free version. The features aren't quite as robust in the free version, but it works for what I need. - To my knowledge, Grammarly does not offer much with regards to mobile support (yet). It would be a great addition, as a lot of work-related emailing is conducted via a cell phone. - Grammarly doesn't "play well" with certain platforms. It can be glitchy, for example, with platforms like Blackboard, which is commonly used by colleges (undergraduate and graduate). I'm not sure if this is a Grammarly issue or Blackboard issue, but it would be nice to see this resolved.

It's a simple chrome extension that I love using whenever I write marketing materials. I have it on when I write on my landing pages, emails, social media posts and more. The great thing about this extension is that sometimes I misspell things (it happens) and it shows me when I do. It also shows me if I mistype something or write something in a grammatically incorrect way. I mean, it's not perfect so it's not like it's a human reading the text and telling you you're writing something totally wrong - but it helps with spelling and simple grammar. It makes life easier by making you sound better, so you get less annoying people on social media telling you to proofread. Who's got time to proofread when I have so much content to create? 😂

It doesn't always work. For example, on this site. I made some little mistakes while writing this review, and the incorrectly written word did get underlined... however when I clicked to get it corrected according to the suggestion by the extension, it did not end up correcting it. So it corrects it for a second and then it reverts back. So that's clearly a bug or something. It does the same thing...

First off, Grammarly has a simple and Easy to Use UI & Anyone can get started with-in seconds. As a Senior Marketing Manager, I constantly use Grammarly for writing professional emails all day and I love the way Grammarly proof reads my work. It makes the process of writing a Professional Emails easier than ever. For us Grammarly is always on top for checking our emails to prevent misspelt words. It works like a Golden charm. We are using grammarly for a very long time and it improved considerably over time. When are doing multiple email campaigns, Grammarly hasn't ever missed a signle sentence to let me see where I went wrong. The most important thing about Grammarly is that it reduces the amount of time and improve your writing skills as well.

They are doing great but it can be better by adding more features like "Suggesting synonyms" to make an email more dynamic and effective.

Although it is a great spell checker, as text gets more layered and in depth Grammarly can actually work against you as it can make you lose the meaning of your text. It doesn't work for some websites and certain other programs which involves having to copy and paste text just so you can check

Grammarly is a tool I use every day and I will sing the praises of it always. It has so much more robust features than your typical spell check with grammar, punctuation, and style/tone included!

Due to being a program and not a real human, sometimes Grammarly gets it wrong. Always use your best judgement and your human touch to ensure the correction you’re getting is right for your writing

According to my more than 5 years of experience, I use it to edit words as well as the most basic expressive writings for family and friends, and it is also very valuable at work. Grammar check, plagiarism check, and word correction are all available.

One of the limitations I encountered was that a valid word or sentence would occasionally be marked as incorrect, prompting the program to ask me to change it. In addition, the program does not capitalize the first letter of each sentence, so I must go back and correct it manually.

Grammarly misses absolutely nothing. Spellings, hyphenations, punctuations, tone, grammar, construction, and many many more. And the best part is that the functions of the software run in real-time. As I type, it evaluates. So it works better than programs that run checks post; because with this, you sense any misdirection early enough to correct the tone.

A lot of my work is done on the go.....where internet access might not be available. And it's so sad that without a connection, I can't enjoy all the awesomeness Grammarly offers. But I do understand that it would be almost impossible to have all that functionality wrapped up in an offline app.

I love everything about this software. I use it every day, and I recommend it to everyone I know because it helps you improve anything you need to write. I am actually using it right now because I have it installed on my work computer, personal computer, and everywhere. It is always good to have an app that helps you find a way to improve your writing and correct some mistakes that you even can learn from. It's so easy to see what's needed to be updated, and you can dismiss it if not needed.

I love this app, but something that I believe can be improved is the display of correctness. Sometimes it disappears from the screen, and I need to close what I am doing to find it again. I don't know how this happens, but I believe it can be improved.

The app is a bit pricey, especially if you don't purchase the annual plan.Sometimes Grammarly makes weird suggestions, but that's a usual limitation of AI.

Grammarly Business is one of those products that is so great that you can not just pick one thing to like the most about the software. However, I will say that ease of use is the thing I like most. Once you download it to your computer and phone it's everywhere you type whether you're writing a review, a business letter, an email, or a text message, it's there assisting you and helping you put your best foot forward. And because it explains to you why it is correcting something you wrote, you learn as you go and are a lot less likely to make the same mistake multiple times.

The feature that could use some improvement is the word count feature. While using this feature in Microsoft Word you can highlight a section of a document and it will tell you how many words and characters are in the highlighted text in addition to the word count for the rest of the document. This feature comes in handy when I'm writing an essay that has lots of instructions from my professor. We have a word count mini/maxi and I write my papers with the instructions in the document and then delete them when the paper is done. However, this feature doesn't exist in my online version. I don't feel this is a con, but instead, a simple consistency issue that doesn't really cause problems. It's just minorly inconvenient.

sometimes there are letters or words I need to use in scenarios or when a speaker is forigner so the grammar is not the point, some times even if I do dismes, the program return again and again to the same mistake and asks me to correct it.

Nice, clean, and intuitive dashboard Grammarly being cross-platform and cloud based makes it ready to go no matter which device I'm using and always I continue from the previous work anywhere I am. Review of spelling, grammar, style, context and punctuation help reach cohesion in writing Plagiarism checking is important in scientific publications.

Sometimes contextual guidance is slightly inaccurate and I need to read again where it is suggesting new paragraph to check if new suggests are not out of context but most of the time grammarly gets it right.

Well, I liked the hype and how it should help me. In theory this tool should be nice but does not provide actual value. The integration with Microsoft tools is nice since I use them daily.

The most annoying thing with Grammarly is that it broke my Microsoft Word and Outlook application after integration. Some function just stopped working which were important to me. So, I needed to uninstall the plugins. But without integration, Grammarly is useless because I will not copy paste my text to other windows. I need real time help because speed is important to me. Also, I did not notice any added value more than Microsoft spell checker gives.

I love working with Grammerly. It is a great tool for proofreading docuements. It gives you word suggestions, and offers annotation and spell check. I use the business version which features more capabilities compared to the free online version. My colleagures and I are using one suite together. We can use it simultaneously. Also, your document is being saved on a cloud, while using this software. So, you will not lose it while having an account on Grammerly.

There are not so many things I dislike about Grammerly. The only thing I can mention is that you always need access to internet to be assisted by Grammerly. It would be helpgul to have an offline version as well.

I use Grammarly, and it has helped me a lot to improve my writings in English since I send and receive a lot of correspondence in this language, in addition to also working with translations, a profession that I exercise since 2012. It is very easy to work with and I had done this for over two years, and I have greatly improved my writing in the English language. The only problem it has is that it manifests itself even when I am writing in my native language, Brazilian Portuguese, and it is evident that there it stays a little lost without knowing what to do. So, I have to put it to sleep even when I open my Facebook page.

I can not say that is something missing because it is perfect for me. There is a free version and a more complete version, but I only use the first one because I don't have so many problems and I don't need to pay for the improved version, because some small mistakes when writing in a language other than our native are always forgiven.

I think that the app has had a lot of work very well done, my compliments to the developers, I've used other applications similar to Grammarly, and they're not even close to what this app can offer, it's fast, easy to use, fun and practical, keep up the good work.

Well the software itself is perfect for me and my business, possibly the only drawback is the price, but it's worth it.

Definitely spell-check, plagiarism check and style check are the most useful tools for me at least. I find that in my efforts to work efficiently, I can often skip over words, spell them wrong or phrase them incorrectly. Grammerly reads my paper before I have to and lets me know automatically that something needs to be changed. As for plagiarism, in a job where I have to frequently research and give credit for the research that I have done, this feature is imperative.

To be honest, sometimes I feel like their suggestions are just incorrect. I have clicked on their suggestion more than once and have had it automatically changed to a word or phrase that the software thinks matches but it actually does not at all in reality.

Can result in irritating autocorrects on names and other troublesome regions, which can be annoying when sending emails.

Grammarly is probably the most useful tool I’ve ever found. I pride myself on my grammar ability, but when typing quickly I find that I just get careless or that the mass of words I just wrote merges together and some typos or bad grammar just get overlooked. Needs Mac integration! Mac users unfortunately do not get to experience all of the features that Windows users get. Grammarly is good but not perfect. Make sure the change it suggests is what you actually need. You might be typing something that appears wrong but in fact is what is meant. The features I like the most about this software are the facts that this software offers grammar, spelling and punctuation check. For a person like me who's not that good with English language this software offering great assistance in terms of its features like these is very helpful to me. This software helps me with better communication as I can communicate my thoughts/opinions pretty clearly and more confidence and also minimizes the scope of being wrongly understood by the receiver of my conversations.

Grammarly includes a number of functions that are useful in both personal and professional settings. It comes in handy whether I'm writing academic papers or professional emails at work. It also assists me in correcting my spelling errors and provides input on how to improve the quality of my writing by suggesting better word selections, sentence structure, punctuation, and other features. Furthermore, the software is incredibly user-friendly.

The free version is not that good except for basic spelling check and sentence structure whereas the premium version of Grammarly is overpriced for its current capabilities.
