Pros

Consequently, you would think that I wouldn't be impressed by IdeaScale's offerings, but I was in for a very pleasant experience.
This tool is fantastic for fostering internal and external innovation. I think that the top down innovation model is outmoded and Ideascale is the best way to shatter it.
IdeaScale meets all my agency needs in fostering a culture of innovation. We enjoy the ease of use, features, and the wonderful customer service.

Pros

We work with remote team in Barcelona and Warsaw and we have successfully been having workshops/brainstorming sessions with Miro, which makes it fun and efficient.
I had an initial love affair with Realtimeboard and had a subscription since 2016/17. Growth and then VC funding last year together with the re-branding debacle are forcing me to re-think that love.
We use this in our sprint meetings and it is very easy to navigate. Best thing I like about this is the ability to add media directly to the board.

Cons

Another platform is hard to get users to embrace... the government buys a lot of them. They die ignoble deaths.
Understanding that some are hesitant to try “new things,” my team had to be diligent in our quest to use this platform for ideation.
No channel to submit/capture unsolicited ideas.

Cons

So, if I have to add another "Do it later" field I have to see the manual and do it manually. There is no selecting/duplicating the whole collum, which is a pain.
The interface is confusing, and often times I wanted to leave a comment but wound up leaving a post-it note instead.
I accidentally deleted a board, and didn't realise for a week or so. When I contacted customer service, they un-deleted it for me in minutes.
