Lumin PDF Features

Work is no longer confined to an office. One may know be mobile, which helps in productivity. I also appreciate using Lumin for free.

I have not fully appreciated the other tools of Lumin. Wish there is a tutorial.

Excellent cloud-based support for file conversion, editing, sending and signing. It's seamlessly integrates with some of my software stack like Google workspace with significantly improve how I edit my files from cloud storage. It enables me to add comments to files which makes it easy for others reading the files.

If you're looking for a more collaborative Pdf editor, lumin pdf may not be the best choice as it lacks most of collaboration features such as team editing.

I love the cloud collaboration between our team members in the same pdf. Also, the app is really good and it provides an easy access to all my files and status reviews. Also, integrations with other apps are great.

Accessibility of features for use and ability to apply it to multiple applications and documents.

It would be great if the signing feature didn't always encrypt the document afterwards this makes things harder for those that don't have the time to undo the encryption.

I love that it is linked to my Google Drive which makes accessing and saving files so much easier. the signature tool is also a great feature as well as the fill tool for forms.

I have no complaints. Lumin fulfilled every need at the time.

It's so easy to use and it makes my PDF to be more organised.

The fact that I am unable to use it to edit my Doc.file but not a big issue as the main document that is difficult to edit is PDF.

I love using Lumin so PDF editing because it super simple and easy to access since it's attached right to your gmail account! Its a great and easy way to use for e-signatures and love that it's saved right to your drive! Makes document signing super easy!

Some of my colleagues find it hard to find in their google account!

Allowed me to send documents to customers to sign instead of having contact with them in the office. Great addition because of Covid-19.

The software did not have all of the editing tools available in the free trial but still allowed me to send the documents for signatures.

Lumin's integration with Google Drive is a nice option.

The paid version of Lumin PDF is extremely limited. It does not nearly have the capabilities of Adobe Acrobat. An irritating "feature" of Lumin PDF is that document management happens through the Lumin PDF website or app only. If you delete your account you lose access to all your Lumin PDF documents. OCR is nonexistent. Text editing is limited and clunky. Copy/Cut and Paste is awkward and doesn't work between pages. Text boxes will cut off edits. Rearranging Text blocks is limited and there are many places on the page where a text block cannot be placed, even though it looks blank. Background images, real or imagined by Lumin PDF, are static and cannot be changed or deleted. Page arranging is slow to respond. Merging PDFs is clunky. Converting PDFs is inaccurate.

The best part with the lumin PDF is that we can edit, crop, rearrange and rotate any pages in the document unlike others we can reshuffle the pages and rotate any single pages from the entire document which is not possible in some of the PDF editor.

Lumin PDF is very good with very few flaws with editing of different fonts and alphabets.

Since I'm using the Pro version of the software, I'm able to sync & resume work on my utilized PDF files across my home & office devices. PDF editing & exporting are the primary tools that I use, & Lumin facilitates these processes without any hassle.

My only nitpick would be the background auto-updates that increase the CPU temps & usage on my dual-core Athlon 200GE office computer when monitored using Task Manager.

Easy access and conversion of documents

There's not much not to like about lumin pdf as most of its functions are up to date efficient and effective

Because Lumin is part of the Google Drive platform, using it is quite simple. It is simple to use every day to sign and amend papers and offers a wide range of capabilities. Lumin is far superior to document printing and scanning. I heartily endorse it.

At first, Google Drive's file saving or reuploading feature could seem a bit confusing. The Lumin PDF is also a bit challenging to utilize. Even though it has an excellent solution, occasionally Lumin loses its connection to Google Drive without warning, and I have to enter it again.

I started to use this software because it´s easy for sign documents in pdf located in google drive. You don´t have to download the document and start to looking for another software just for make a electronic signature, you can make all in a few clicks because it´s integrated with google drive. It´s make me gain a lot of time. Later I knew another features of the interface and now I open my pdf files just there.

Sometimes Lumin losts his conection with google drive without any explanation and I need to make the login again, besides that it is a great solution.

The signing part of it, Editing document online which i rarely done by other softwares

I think this software has all we need based on the nature of my work.

Having the ability to create signatures and edit documents that need to be done when the other person may not be able to be present is definitely a plus with Lumin

The problem I kept running into is when I went to save the changes I made and download the document, the downloaded document would still be the original document with no changes. I was using the free trial so maybe this is why, but it should be at least an option for maybe one document so one can see how they really like it.

Lumin PDF allows for ease of adding dates, signatures etc. to PDFs. It's fantastic that it connects with Google Drive, allowing for easy and safe storage of documents. I choose not to print these documents, and instead use Lumin to complete any editing to PDFs required. Love this product so much and I've already got friends onto it! If I used it more regularly, I would purchase the paid version as there's so much more available, and it's a much better price than the adobe alternative.

For limited use, it's not cost effective.

There have been times when I needed to fill out paperwork for a client and I didn't have a scanner to print and fill everything out. So, I opened the document with Lumin PDF and I was able to complete the document and email it back to the client with ease.

There is nothing I don't like. It has helped me out a lot.

The file saving or reupload option of Google Drive might be a little perplexing at first. In addition, the Lumin PDF is a little tough to use.

The signature feature was what drew me to the software and it worked excellent. Thankfully I only needed to sign 1 document. I did not have to use the editing options much, but for my limited needs, it worked very well. The integration with Google Drive makes uploading your files very easy.

The limited signatures for the free version is, well, a limitation. But so long as you don't need to sign a lot of documents per month, it's not an issue. It's a little confusing when editing a document how to get back to the "home" screen where your documents are, but once your figure that out (trial and error), it's a quick recall.
