For more specific operations there are pluggable modules designed. There is internal chat and discussions and many other useful features, all easy to use and understand. The core modules are contacts, calendars, invoices and chat & discussions. The many additional pluggable modules are suitable for various types of businesses. First to mention is a project management module called Manitoo. It enables to create projects with managers and solvers. You can create tasks within a project and set it to different states as the project progresses. You can add milestones, manage related documents and submit worked hours.
