Best business software in the game

2018-12-04

Pros

I have been using Microsoft office for years. Office 365 is the best version yet - I use Excel and Word every day! It provides easy formatting, powerful analysis tools and is the hands down standard of the business world.

Cons

I tend to stay away from Outlook, as I prefer Gmail instead.

Best tool for users to collaborate

2018-10-10

Pros

Since its synced to MS Excel it is definitely the best tool. As all spreadsheet tools are compared to excel and all of them are lacking. Hence allowing collaboration with MS Excel is a huge plus adding further benefits to an extremely strong product (MS Excel)

Cons

Unfortunately for Microsoft Gmail is prevalent across most places.

As a student I worked with office 365 all the time and it is a solid and robust solution.

Cons

I am not a big fan of the outlook service, I wish it was simpler like gmail.

I do prefer it over gmail or any other cheap/free email platforms because of the abi, lity to sort/filter/create rules in a busy office environment

Pros

I like the ease of use and ability to filter, create rules for incoming emails.

Cons

I find the software is a tad glichie and will freeze up often until I close and restart the product.

Excellent product mix and connectivity

2017-12-08

Extensive user collaboration suites as well as familiar interfaces across operating systems.

Pros

I like the way the apps interact with each other and the fact that they can be downloaded to my systems or used online. Having 1TB of cloud space in OneDrive simplifies things tremendously. Likewise, being able to download and use the apps on my Android phone ensures that when I need something, it is available. Last year, I implemented Office365 for Education in the school where I serve as Director of IT. For all of my users, whether using Windows or IOS, the transition was nearly seamless. We also offer this to our students and teach them office productivity skills utilizing Office365 apps.

Cons

I prefer the web user interface for gmail over Microsoft Outlook.

Perfect for its email & calendar online integration

2018-02-07

It is better than Gmail, as it has a more business-oriented approach.

Pros

I use it continuously throughout the day as my primary email client and scheduling software (calendar). I like the fact that it has everything I need to receive and send emails plus schedule appointments/events. You can also access it from any device thus platform-independent. I do have Outlook installed on the computer, but I prefer to use the online client as I'm used to it now and think it's faster.

Cons

The beta version of the email client is still not very good in comparison with the older version. But I'm confident they'll take into account the feedback we provide.

Microsoft Offfice tools with cloud sync enabled

2019-03-13

Pros

Microsoft office has always been power-packed and Office 365 is no exception. The device sync feature makes life very convenient. The included templates are very well-designed and thought of and the online community generated templates are also very easy to use.

Cons

Most users with a Gmail account or an Android device stick to the Google offerings and very rarely there is a need to use Microsoft products.

Office 365

2018-09-12

They are quite expensive and I don't see them being worth the money when a service like gmail is free and highly functioning.

Pros

I like that it is so well used by universities, businesses, coorpoations. I literally have 3 office365 accounts - one each for the 2 universities I adjunct teach for and one for a business I am a part of.

Cons

I am constantly having to sign out and back in to see mail from a different company- and so I have just defaulted to using my gmail account and checking mail from these 3 emails once a week.

Office 365 is Last Resort Software

2019-01-24

Pros

There are so many free programs that work so much better than Office 365. Why someone would continue using it after seeing its many flaws is beyond me!

Cons

It's not easy to use, it's not free, and you would be way better off creating a gmail account and using google docs.

Has the features we need and easy to manage.

2019-01-05

Pros

Great price and easy to manage compared to legacy systems. The price for all the tools you get is really great. The iOS app also makes it really easy to add and edit users quickly when you are out of the office.

Cons

While the spam filter seems fine, I wish the promotion filtering was as good as gmail. I spend a lot of time deleting stuff that should never even make it to my inbox.

All Microsoft applications in the cloud

2018-07-11

Pros

I like that I do not need to download office 365 and work directly in the cloud, I also love that I have Power point, word, Excel and all office applications in one place thanks to my Hotmail account.

Cons

The disadvantage is that this application can not be used in gmail accounts in the same way as in Hotmail, and that after the test time must be purchased while other similar applications are free.

Hate it

2019-04-12

Pros

I have nothing good to say about it. It's terrible all around. I guess it is better than self-hosting webmail.

Cons

I would way rather use Gmail. It does funky things when replying to emails with attachments.

Really good software suite

2019-02-03

Pros

I enjoy this suite. All the software programs that come with 365 are easy to use, and Microsoft is a reputable and recognizable brand name and company that the consumer knows they can trust with good products and services.

Cons

Outlook is not as easy to use and configure as well as google's Gmail is. The design concepts are different and the features act differently in a more inconvenient way, so it seems.

Office 365 in an Accounting environment

2019-03-08

When your only real competition is G Suite it,s pretty easy to own the market and just rest on your laurels. But Microsoft's business suite always seems to be one step ahead and as reliable a product as you can find.

Pros

Word, Excel, and Powerpoint are as good on this version as they've ever been. One drive is getting better and i'm glad there's a link directly to it.

Cons

My one and only issue with the new 365 is the hassle it takes to link gmail accounts to the Outlook program.
