Industry standard for creating and sharing quality slideshow presentations

2018-06-05

Pros

Feature-rich and intuitive; excellent platform for creating presentations or utilizing as an easy drag-and-drop editor for social media images and infographics; straightforward animation pane and controls coupled with multiple export functions allow PowerPoint to be a versatile tool for creating entry level video animations as well

Cons

Direct customer support with any Microsoft product is always hit or miss, but thankfully PowerPoint has been around long enough that there are plenty of third party resources/forums to answer most questions

Good user interface for beginners.

2018-07-09

It's very user friendly and has an easy drag and drop interface.

Pros

It's very easy to make a presentation inside PowerPoint; Just drag and drop.

Cons

If you want transitions in your presentation from slide to slide, it will look outdated. Some more modern templates would be nice too.

It has been a positive experience since I have done many things like, collage works for events

2018-07-05

It allows to make a great variety of presentations and works that can be for parties and events as well as company-wide projections

Pros

their functions are easy and they can be used by everyone, as well as allowing you to do many different things, from editing a photo to making mini videos with sounds, images and lyrics

Cons

One weakness is that it does not have many animations and designs available and you have to look for them online and it takes a little time to be employed this tool in a job

I still prefer Powerpoint over similar solutions

2018-07-13

Pros

It could be because I grew up using Powerpoint, but I love how the tool is so straightforward.

Cons

There are some things that could be improved, like better image manipulation and effects, more natural automation and transitions, drag and drop of images and files, auto save, and online collaboration, annotations, etc.

One of the best presentation software. Great set of tools to make presentation effective.

2018-03-13

One of the easy way to present a project or company profile.

Pros

Clear and easy to use. Drag and drop picture insert.

Cons

In this the only way to present the project is the slides which is very old way. There are other presentation software (like Prezi) that use totally different concept.

Pros

Super easy to get started.

Cons

Collaboration is the only limiting factor that I can think of.

Accomplishes what I want in an easy and simple interface.

2017-12-29

Pros

This intuitive interface outpaces even Keynote.

Cons

The graphic editing and table management is a little weak, but in all honesty, these are not the primary functions of this program, so it's hard to complain too much about it.

I use it for primarily work purposes but also the photo editing features.

2017-12-09

Pros

Even when the version is updated, the new features and functionality is, for the most part, intuitive.

Cons

Microsoft should consider some lite version for simpler messaging purposes.

PowerPoint is still great, but there's room for improvement.

2016-11-23

This software is still stuck in the PC dial-up internet age when XP was as good as it got. A mobile integration with seamless updates and cross-platform access would be fabulous.

Pros

Simple interface, easy to add content, and solid for creating a presentation.

Cons

Some options like "use in presenter view" can get buried when I think they're pretty important to be able to access.

Powerpoint is my first choice in creating presentations

2018-05-16

Pros

There are other programs that contain lots of additional features, but I don't have the time (or desire) to learn advanced graphic design techniques.

Cons

A feature allowing more than one user to work on the same presentation would be nice for things like group projects or collaborative work.

I use this program to produce presentations of research

2018-07-11

I am able to present my work in person and by teleconference with interested parties. Everyone has this software already installed so it is easy to share presentations

Pros

It is easy to use, simply drag and drop pictures, shapes and text onto each slide.

Cons

The animations can be a bit tacky. They do not look as professional as other programs such as keynote. Sometimes when you paste images into slides, they lose some resolution and look pixelated

A Hard to beat titan when it comes to presentations, getting better on each new release, becoming more and more friendly, and a interface that once learned the basics and advanced techniques, can deliver stunning slides presentations, also it's useful to make quick image designs and simple cards .

Pros

- Polished Collaborative support and sharing in recent releases.

Cons

-Despite of the improved security on each newer release, Powerpoint files are still prone to virus attacks due their popularity and widespread use.

Professional speaker, live in PowerPoint

2018-05-04

Pros

While Keynote has a simpler UI, this is the default program since all computers can run it.

Cons

I would like to see a broader range of slide design and also the ability to tell PowerPoint about the screen size of the eventual projection. It could be more intelligent and optimize slides to their eventual use.

2018-07-05

Pros

I am able to create beautiful presentations that impress upper management and co-workers.

Cons

Coming from a graphic design background the layout tools were not as intuitive as PhotoShop or Illustrator, however using those programs to create presentations was eating up a ton of my time.
