For me it is not a professional tool because it is very slow as I said before and the support is very bad.

I have actually a big bug which exist since 2 years and Notion support don't help me about it.

My bug is:

I have 2 databases and 1 column to make some "Relation" between them. It was working perfectly before but some day Notion made some update and since this day, In my "Relation" column, it does not suggest anymore the datas that I have in another table.

I reported this issue and the support team ignores this.

Notion has a lot of limited features for FREE accounts like automations, file upload limit or inviting some family member.

I don't recommend

Great app for note taking, project management. Works well for our org. The only caveat being it’s not so easy to use for beginners

Flexibility at your fingertips!

After using Notion for two years, I've found it to be an incredibly versatile tool for organizing projects and personal tasks. Its ability to customize pages and link different content types made it easy to create tailored workflows. However, I did encounter some challenges, like occasional slow performance with larger pages and a bit of a learning curve when first starting out. Despite these issues, its flexibility and all-in-one functionality have made it a staple in my productivity toolkit.

My two year of Notion

Notion is a practical and enjoyable tool to use. Its intuitive interface and powerful databases make it an excellent choice for organizing daily tasks and taking notes. Despite a few minor downsides, it stands out as one of the best apps of its kind.

At first I found it a bit confusing, but after working with it for awhile and adding templates from other creators I got the hand of it. I am still not using the full capabilities of the app mainly due to the mobile issues, but I am sure I will use it more fully in the future.

Versatile cross between database and project management

Overall experience with Notion as a student has been very positive. It has been an essential tool for managing my busy academic and extracurricular life. From keeping track of my class schedule and assignments to tracking coding projects and planning for events like college fests, everything is kept in one place with Notion.

I like the flexibility of using workflows. For instance, I created myself a personal dashboard with timetable, to-do lists, and deadlines. The feature of being able to link pages and work with templates makes organizing really easy and efficient. Calendar view as well as Kanban boards in general are very useful for visualizing overload and keeping everything under control.

However, it had a steep learning curve at the start, and I had to take some time to figure out how to set this one to my specific needs. Moreover, it has terrible offline functionality sometimes.

Overall, Notion has significantly improved my productivity, allowing me to balance academics, coding, and extracurriculars effectively. It's a powerful tool that I’d recommend to any student willing to explore its potential.

I highly recommend Notion and do recommend Notion to colleagues. It's one software I see people adopt the easiest on a recommendation. I use it for daily for organizing my work load, client notes where appropriate, and action points. I use it for managing responsibilities at home too.

Notion is my digital brain

I like Notion. I think there's a lot of potential there. I have slowed down my use of it as it's not quite there for my needs but as they continue building out the ecosystem, I may come back to using it as my primary workspace for managing my creative work.

Great tool but takes time to learn/customize

I love using notion on a day to day basis. Be it in planning for a work trip, creating a simple to do list, tracking my spending habits. The software comes in handy and saves me the hustle involved in tracking some intricate habits and personal finances by using the available templates. Life Gets busy and using notion has simplified my life and enabled me to keep track of the important things in life in an organized way.

I've been looking for ways to improve my organizational skills. Most of my life I've had a tendency to allow clutter in my spaces, physically, mentally and yes- even digitally. Notion is helping me organize all of this clutter and find a system that truly works for me, and for that I am SO grateful! 
As I'm getting older (38 currently), I've become more aware of how important it is to simplify and organize our spaces. 
In comes Notion: my solution to stacks of physical notebooks, dozens of desktop sticky notes on my computer, etc. Notion has made it SO simple for me to organize my thoughts, my school work (as a non-traditional bachelors student in my late 30s, Notion has helped me in tremendously!!!), my blog writing, my content creation, recipes, family schedules, and so much more. Stay Organised and Meet Deadlines

Notion is a tool that I am excited to use for work on my own or with others. It feels reminiscent of the days when I used to have papers, post-its, highlighters and such on a physical desk...except this is more organized an all online. It is a digital workspace that allows for all of my ideas to connect (if I want them to) and provides me an organized system (thank you, Templates) to actually keep myself accountable with making progress on my goals.

I’m extremely pleasantly surprised by how many features Notion offers, even in its free version. Previously, my work tasks and tracking their progress were scattered across different places. Now, I can keep everything in one place and monitor the progress of various tasks within a single app. With Notion, my workflow is now clearer, and things are more under control. Overall, it’s a very flexible application that adapts to a wide range of needs.
