Pros

We were amazed that the use of OnBoard during the meeting went so well. I appreciate the ease with which you can change the agenda and and update/revise materials.
OnBoard has been great for our organization and all users enjoy it. Customer service has always been helpful and efficient.
Also, the agenda is super easy to build. And it will be terrific to have all the board documents from our meetings saved on the portal and accessible at any time.

Pros

The price is great, it looks and feels really simple and lovely, and the company is obviously interested in feedback and improving the product.
The best thing about Boardable is that it is super user friendly no matter what the technology comfort level might be.
I love that it is easy to use, easy to set up, and the customer service is amazing.

Cons

Notifications that uploads have been unsuccessful are a little too subtle - meaning that you can miss it if you are working quickly (as we so often are during board pack creation).
So far i have no come across anything that i dislike about the software.
I am unable to see edit's when change the names to agenda items, however I was able to contact my account rep and he helped me with a workaround as they are working that problem out.

Cons

Sometimes it's a struggle to get people to complete surveys, but that happens with any board. I have sometimes had trouble finding features on the site.
At first the initial emails were going to a spam folder for the invitations.
We have started to do this, but find the feature set is limited. I believe this could be fixed by changing the way we look at member, observer, and administrator.

Better Board Engagement

We have better Board engagement. It has been easier to communicate with the Board.

Pros

We love having all of our Board history, documents and resources in one place. The portal has allowed for easy access to information for Board and committee meetings.

Cons

We just started using the software, so we can't think of anything at the moment.

On Board was designed to help us move away from paper Board packets. We have accomplished that. It also saves us time in Board meeting preparation and distribution of information.

Pros

Access to Board information is easy and our Board members navigate the system easily.

Cons

exiting out of a packet can be tricky at times

We use OnBoard for our board meetings and all board members have access and can use remotely.

Pros

I have never worked on a system like this but it was easy to navigate through as I was self taught.

Cons

I'm still learning how to use so I can't say just yet.

OnBoard, a great Board tool

Our experience has been very good and our Board has been very pleased with how easily they can access OnBoard and view their monthly Board packets both at home and during the Board meetings.

Pros

ease with which the Board can view and make notations on their monthly Board packet.

Cons

There are some compatibility issues with older versions of documents we place on the site and occasionally our users have issues viewing documents placed in the Resources folder.

It is difficult to link EXCEL sheets. I usually have to copy and scan them into the program

Great platform!

The launch could not have been easier and the training providing to the administrators and end users is exceptional. The trainers are very responsive to our needs and check in after meetings to see if there is any assistance needed.

Pros

The ease of creating and distributing the board materials along with remote attendance for board members.

Cons

I have not yet found a feature I did not like!

Pros

Resources...having an unlimited file cabinet to store all of our board documents is amazing! The convenience of have board info, board member info, documents, and surveys can't be beat.

Cons

As we work to upload all of materials, I am finding I can not upload from a google drive and when I can it's typically a link. This is causing some uploading issues which should be a one time event but still.

Overall, we have had a good experience with the product. The ease of use in preparing the board package was the biggest selling feature.

Pros

We really liked the ease of use on the administrator side. The ability to move documents around effortlessly made it easy to switch from our previous provider.

Cons

The additional add-ons like collaboration for board members on the portal was included in our previous board package and is extra here.

OnBoard makes monthly Board Meetings a breeze

The online access of all documents needed for our monthly Board Meetings has come in especially handy during the last few months of doing the Board Meetings virtually. I did not have to worry at all about everyone having the items they needed for the meeting and the Board Members like to ease of getting to the documents and all the extras that are provided (ex. adding notes for their own use, maneuverability, signatures/approvals).

Pros

Online access for all Board Members and Staff to all documents needed for the monthly Board Meeting

Cons

Sometimes maneuvering with in the setup for meetings, agendas and downloading documents is confusing
