One of the Simpliest File Sharing Service for Teams

13th of March, 2014

Sandip Pathak
I chanced upon Oogwave as a collaboration tool, but what as a small company of 18 people we have found value in file sharing facility within Oogwave. One of the simplest and intuitive way to store and control files for our functional files and project works. Best part is all files are in control of my business and not people within.

Pros: File features from version, direct view with comments then and there are very useful. File analysis, also help you see the engagement on file across team. Best feature - Permission control of folders and sub folders on users.

Cons: Desktop file syncing is missing Good mobile interface - but Apps on iOS still missing. So lagging in real-time notifications on the move. Chat is quick and good, but saving of chat conversations is missing.

Great For External Collaboration

I got on Oogwave by chance 5 weeks back (from listing on GetApp) and was surprised with the external collaboration option. I have been using basecamp for a while, and there were few limitation which Oogwave have handled in a very simple way.

Pros: Simple to use, great self explanatory User interface and the Best part the flat affordable pricing of $25/month with no limits, which works for my small business budget.

Cons: Not a brand name, so when I started working with my external partners they were skeptical about using the same, but now everyone is happy. A little branding and I think this can work better than most of the other tools in the market.

Effective Collaboration Tool

Oogwave is cool as it allows me to do things I used to spend most of the times pushing to my teams using emails. The product has changed a lot from the day we started using in our company, but the good part is they have changed every time for better. Although there are too many things, and sometimes it becomes difficult to choose the right way to share and collaborate, but once you have figured out, it works like a charm.

Pros: Their support team is also very responsive and one of the big reasons we have continued on Oogwave.

Cons: Lack desktop version, that is available with other solutions.
