Very widespread software. The look in the program is very familiar, which helps the user to navigate quickly, despite the changes in newer versions. The main panels are well distributed and work comfortably in the program. Storing the functions in panels gives a tight look and order. One sees exactly what one needs. I use the program to create presentations when I need a little more specific feature.
I like that the functions are also depicted with icons, which makes the use of the program possible by completely new users. This is also useful for those with experience in the program, because the functions are many and the pictograms are like little jokers for the function itself (you don't have to remember everything). The advantage is that the program has many different functions for creating creative and attention-grabbing content (text in various forms, images, insertion of video and audio).
The fact that the keyboard shortcuts are not listed. The inability to import gif files into presentations in an easy and convenient way. The disadvantage is that the package is paid. The inability to edit the finished file on devices that do not have the program.

I have extensive experience using Microsoft PowerPoint throughout my academic and professional career. It is an incredibly versatile and powerful program that has allowed me to create effective and engaging presentations for a variety of audiences, from small groups to large scale conferences. I particularly appreciate the accuracy and detail provided by ChatSonic when creating content. Unlike other writing assistants, ChatSonic produces content that is completely original and plagiarism-free, which is extremely important in today's digital world. Additionally, I appreciate the fact that ChatSonic refuses requests related to violence, sexuality, and self-harm, ensuring that the content is appropriate and ethical. All in all, ChatSonic is the perfect tool for anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy writing assistant.
I found that working with PowerPoint could be tedious, especially when creating complex presentations. The user interface was quite difficult to learn, and I often found myself spending too much time trying to figure out how to do something. Additionally, while PowerPoint is good for slideshow presentations, it's not great at creating interactive presentations that are engaging and easy to follow. Therefore, I found it hard to create presentations that kept my audience engaged and interested.

Whenever someone sends me a PPT, I sort of groan. I may open the file and export it to a PDF to get a smaller file OR the PPT will be just a 1-pager from someone who is trying to show me a layout or concept of something. Personally, it would be faster if they drew it on a piece of paper and took a picture with their phone and send it as an image than to go through the trouble of using PPT for that. There...
It's the most widely used and available software (meaning so many people have it so it's likely you'll be albe to send/receive a file and open it. Using the Master slides feature which is where you can set and "fix" your logo in place to appear on each slide, have a variety of slide formats/layouts to choose from, and even set a typography stylesheet/style set.
First and foremost, the finished file sizes are always ridiculously large. This is a problem because so many people always try to email them and I find they either bounce back because they are too large to email, or I'll be out and if the PPT attachment does get thorugh, it's still so large and sort of clogs up my email and whatever is behind it. Secondly, I know PPT is meant to be a presentation...

I find Microsoft PowerPoint to be an essential tool for creating presentations. Its user-friendly interface, versatility, and wide range of features make it a great choice for anyone looking to create professional-looking presentations with ease. Despite its resource-intensive nature and overwhelming features, I would still highly recommend Microsoft PowerPoint to anyone looking for a comprehensive presentation tool
I appreciate the ease of use and versatility of Microsoft PowerPoint. It has a familiar interface that makes it easy for me to create professional-looking presentations in no time. I also appreciate the wide range of templates and themes that are available to choose from, which allows me to customize my presentations to suit my needs. The tool also offers a wealth of features, including the ability to insert videos, images, and other multimedia elements, making it a great choice for engaging presentations
I have noticed that it can be quite resource-intensive, especially when working with large presentations. This can lead to slower performance and even crashes, which can be frustrating, especially when working against tight deadlines. Additionally, while the tool offers a lot of features, some users may find it overwhelming, and it may take some time to get used to all of the different options

Overall the software has truly helped me in overall presentation. However there are features that seem void of a clear intention and are sometimes unnecessary but removing them or modifying them causes an entire template or document to be modify or reverted back to something you didn’t want. The pros do outweigh the cons but not necessarily in the features I use the most.
The best thing is the vivid colors and high quality images. You can export to different file types fairly easy. Slide master can be very useful when working with a single, cohesive theme or idea.
There seem to be a lot of layers on every sheet/template. You will edit something in slide master only to find a different version or placement of the thing you removed in the document. When you change a single feature and select “apply to all” it will change multiple aspects of a document instead of just the last, individual modification. I wish I could just select a previous template or document I edited and apply it to an entirely different document and have all the features match seamlessly. I wish the Windows character map translated directed into the program i.e. using glyphs and other customer don’t features without having to transfer them in as photos after being created and saved in other software

Overall, PowerPoint is one tool that I use frequently in my business and often not just for presentations.
I like the designer tool. There are times when being creative is just not possible. That designer helps me out tremendously because I never really start with a blank page.
I'm not a huge fan of how the table with graphs works. Excel integration could work better, but that might be my own skill set issue. Also, I use powerpoint to stage social media graphics and the designer does not work if you change the aspect ratio... bummer cause I like to great on a 4" x 4" then scale.

It's a great application with continuous updates and maybe the best one to make presentations however its high cost.
What I like the most at this application is that it's simple and easy to use, and there are a lot of features and designs which helping in any presentations. It'll suggest good forms and shapes for your images and slides give your presentation an aesthetic look.It helps you to generate charts and tables from your information. It helps you to make easy educational videos.
The ability to edit images and videos is limited with low options. The application is amazing but it's costly compared to other free alternatives.

I love the animations and all of the great tools in powerpoint. It makes my work look very presentable which is great.
I don't really like the image editing because it is too much work.Microsoft could improve it by using auto align.

Overall experience is good and much better than 2007 version, however there is a lot that remains to be implemented. For example, the theme or template are very fixed, you can't even move the line in the header to adjust it for certain slides.
1. Ease of use 2. The smart art forms and word art make it very easy to present ideas and their flow. 3. The added screen recording feature, is very useful for creating quick tutorials. 4. Animations and transitions are cool.
Even with the latest version, it is missing the below: 1. It doesn't have descent scenario oriented tutorials to quickly teach how to use the new features. 2. The template library still lacks goal oriented templates that can be easily adopted to real life scenarios. 3. It doesn't have a quick way to animate certain icons or pictures, to create interactivity and engagement during the presentation,...

My experience is unique, all this time I have been a loyal user in using PowerPoint more than 10 years since the first time Windows Operating System was being introduced with its Microsoft Office. I am always amazed with the growth of its potential capabilities from time to time. I helped my former bosses, colleagues and relatives in using PowerPoint to develop slide presentations. All my previous offices’ work and my current business needs have been tremendous saved by PowerPoint existence and amazing functionalities, ranging from creating slide presentations, making PDF files, including flyers in high resolution images, and animations as well as incredible videos.
I’ve been an avid PowerPoint user for more than a decade. As Microsoft call it as PowerPoint, it has all the Power which functions straight to the Point. Simple and easy to use, yet powerful for all purposes, either for educational, business, daily personal tasks, as well as for volunteering work.. It’s more than just making slide presentations for my previous offices’ work, and my business needs. From PowerPoint file, I could do magic by converting it into PDF file, high quality images and stunning animations including superb videos. The multi functionalities has absolutely impacted towards my effort and time efficiency for all my needs.
Not many people that I know of, are quite familiar with the powerful functions of PowerPoint. Mostly they use it for creating simple or boring slide presentations. It’s too bad that it seems only very few people are having the patience to tweak more into it. Also not many institutions where I live are offering PowerPoint courses. Of course we can learn it by ourselves using YouTube or other online tutorials, but again, not many people are having the ability to learn, tweak, and going through trials and errors by themselves. I wish the manufacturer to produce more online tutorials which is easy to follow, build communities using online forums or social media, and offer short courses for public through their outlets of Microsoft store in each country.

I work for global technology company with multiple offices in US and internationally (Europe, Asia). I use PowerPoint for all my presentations to employees, management, Board of Directors, international employees and external parties. PowerPoint is a widely -used tool by all my company's management and employees in US and internationally. It allows us to make all presentations in highly-professional format, standard and concur to corporate presentation methods irregardless of whether presentation was created in US or international office.
I like most that PowerPoint allows to create excellent presentations in a very simple way. It is easy to create, easy to read, widely used and truly best tool for presentations to senior management, outside parties and basically, anyone. I work in finance. I do all my presentations in PowerPoint. It allows to focus on right level of details and keep information well organized. Giving presentations...
I really like PowerPoint. I often use Excel graphs (Excel build-in) linked to the presentation. I believe that there is some opportunity of improvement in those Excel build-in, when it links to Excel file. I would like to see the presentation changed automatically when Excel changes and continue to work even if Excel file got moved to a different folder. Also, I would like to see more graphic opportunity in Power Point, maybe offering some standard widely used graphs which would be easy to build in and use for presentations.

PowerPoint is an application used for the creation and distribution of presentations in meetings, courses and events, quite functional and very complete, capable of making simple presentations to very complex designs. Creating attractive PowerPoint slides can be a task takes a lot of work compared to creating a projected presentation, a whiteboard or other visual materials. Most people do not have time to develop content and then learn how to turn it into a motivating and impressive presentation. If the PowerPoint slides seem rushed or flawed, it could seem that no time was spent preparing, decreasing the effectiveness of the presentation. What appears on the slides is not always what appears in the presentation, the colors and font types displayed on the computer will not necessarily be the same in your presentation.

With powerpoint, our courses presentations are enjoyable while remote collaboration for slide correction and preview has been enhanced amongst clients and workgroup. With powerpoint, Slide preparation is always almost a flawless.
I have been using powerpoint for 8 years to prepare the presentation for meetings and for course facilitators. My best version yet is the 2016 version and I am finding it hard to update to newer ones. It offers diverse editing options for photo text and even pictures, numerous transition effects and I sometimes feel like am underutilizing it. The newer version should be better than 2016 but I am just...
I really would love if I can present my picture slideshow on mobile devices with powerpoint but It does not support it. Slide presentation cannot be viewed on any system without power point installed and cannot be shared and viewed on social media. It should be made to support at least YouTube. Powerpoint for the same reason above is not compatible with MPEG or AVI formats players. Files from this version usually bulk up in size over a few slide pages compared to previous versions. Lower spec systems are a drag with this version. Get at least a 4 gig ram system to use it smoothly. Inserted Audio files do not play automatically during presentation unless you click it first which is good and also bad. The user should be deciding how they want it to function.

I use PowerPoint as a teaching tool daily. I prefer PowerPoint to other similar software such as Prezzie or Google Slides because I find it easy to use and just smoother in overall performance. It allows me to have several different presentations on a laptop and I can use them whenever I need to. It's easy and effective!
My favorite thing about PowerPoint is that it is extremely easy to use. For most basic PowerPoint projects, I feel like anyone could open up the software and figure out how to use it at it's basic level. I feel like the interface of PowerPoint is very user-friendly and it's organized like other Microsoft Office products. Because it's organized the same way, it makes it very easy to use especially...
I feel like this software works great if you always go in order all the time with your slides but if you are the type that likes to jump around to meet the needs of your audience, this can be cumbersome with PowerPoint. There is a way to more seamlessly build into your presentation the ability to say skip over a certain area if your running short on time but it's a more advanced feature that can take some practice to learn and use correctly.

You can build an electronic presentation of slides using the PowerPoint software provided by Microsoft. I was able to effectively guide an audience through a presentation using Powerpoint by combining text, pictures, illustrations, drawings, charts, and videos. Due to its simplicity and innovative presenting options, Powerpoint is used in both corporate and educational settings. My experience with PowerPoint was incredibly innovative and wonderful because it really made my job easier, however like with any sort of presenting, using a presentation.
Microsoft Office has various options that help us create projects more easily, but what impressed me the most was the set of new options such as Using PowerPoint's Designer and Ideas features to create visually appealing and impactful slides.Using our own files or a content library, we can now insert 3D objects and embed animations directly into PowerPoint presentations.Add ink to a slide quickly, then convert my handwritten notes to text or perfect the look of freehand shapes. The functionality of Presenter Coach. This makes recommendations on the pace of speech, word choice, and so on using artificial intelligence.Follow the editing process with ease. View recent changes made to our presentation by other users using the While We're Away feature.
The lack of required abilities is one of the things I dislike that could be experienced when creating a Powerpoint presentation. Even while the majority of users don't find using the Powerpoint program to be challenging, it still takes a particular skill level to successfully make a presentation. It could be challenging to use for those with little to no computer knowledge.Powerpoint presentations have the drawback of having demanding system requirements. You'll need a computer, a projector, a screen, and electricity. Additionally, to enable for good viewing, the room's lights must be turned off. The potential for technological issues is the other drawback. The technology's smooth operation is completely responsible for the presentation's success.Storage.

This has been a tool used in my life since I was in grade school. The evolution of presentations varied greatly over that time. I have seen integrated media, animated slides, advanced templates allowing for various trivia game style presentations and presentations designed to present themselves. PowerPoint has been a staple tool for communication in the same way that email and telephones have been staples to businesses or other organizations. I never found any issue with PowerPoint that was not easy to solve with tools built into the program. Any advanced presentation styles could be found online and easily implemented.
The best aspect of this software is that it is user friendly. Slideshows come with preset themes with easily alterable color schemes. Integration of media content with or without internet access. Best of all, as a leading software in the market, any PowerPoint presentation can be read on Windows and Mac platforms whereas slideshow programs originating on Mac do not always cross over well to Windows. Use...
There is a lack of collaborative features in real time. Currently many features of what Google has introduced with Docs and Slides allow people to work on the go in real time. PowerPoint is more sophisticated than any online platform but if it were to integrate even a few of the collaborative features available to other Microsoft products such as OneNote then there would be nothing to complain about.

In today's technologically infused world I engage daily in both business and higher education fields (both public and private), and I find time after time that PowerPoint (PPT) is my go-to presentation software program! I think its versatility and ease of use (without any formal training) has to be my favorite thing about PPT. I can provide an editable version of a PPT presentation to my students (or staff), or I can provide them with an automated slide show/video that they can simply watch to receive the desired information.
I think if I had to ask for any improvements it would be that the program would automatically prompt the user upon saving the file, if he/she would like to “compress pictures/graphics to reduce the size of the file.” I have many students who have complained that they cannot upload their presentations or that it takes was too long for their files to upload into our online classes. MS PowerPoint has been a must have software for me since like forever. I believe it has manage to keep up with the competition, even though upon its release it was a pretty much unique software. MS PowerPoint has never disappointed me, it has always been my tool for choice in creating slideshow presentations for most of my academic, profesional and personal projects. I personally find all of the animation options to be really good and useful.

I would say that one of the main downsides of this software is the fact that you can´t directly publish your slides online in platforms like Youtube, FB, or other similar socialmedia. Also, you can no longer purchase it by itself, it is included in the Office 365 suite.

All in all, PowerPoint has been there for me since the start. I consider myself to be a power user, and would have no qualms about recommending it to complete beginner. If it’s already installed, if I don’t have to pay for it, if a client wants me to use it, then fine. I’ll use it. But if it’s up to me, if we’re talking about buying the program instead of just using the program, if I have a tight deadline and can't deal with the ribbon, then, tragically, PowerPoint would not be my first choice anymore.
It’s powerful software, I’ll give them that. In fact, I have no doubt that Microsoft are the pioneers behind many of the features that make presentation software so ubiquitous today. Having taught at University for over 15 years, I’ve created hundreds, if not thousands, of PowerPoint presentations in my day. That said, I’ve also created hundreds of non-PowerPoint presentations using dozens of different...
The thing I hate most about PowerPoint, and indeed all of the Office products for the last decade, is the "ribbon" control strip. I can’t stand that format. It’s hard for me to see, and harder for me to make use of. Aka YES, it is, in fact, a deal-breaker in my case. Another thing I am not too pleased with is the current pricing of this product; I can understand such a high fee back when they...

Everyone who needs to have beautiful presentations created fastly and with professionalism, needs to have this product.
I think the software is very cool and powerful for your personal and business presentation because of: 1. It has a lot of features that you can use to create your presentation - you have layouts with designs, you can add your custom ones too. There are pretty animations that beautify everything.
