Pros

The accountability and help the tool provides is great. I also love Redbooth Meetings for an easy video chat and screen share.
Really love this product. I have tried many of the top task management softwares with myself and for clients and this one comes out tops for functionality and ease of use.
It's simple, intuitive, engaging and even fun to use. From the desktop to mobile, we're all on it everyday and it makes us better at what we do.

Pros

Love Slack and would recommend to anyone to change over to it, the integration to other products is also really good.
Super easy set up, effortless onboarding, and great pricing plan for small groups. It has strong search functionality and intuitive threading.
You can have fun and customize. For example: We have a 'Jokes' channel that the slack bot will tell you jokes if you ask 'bot tell me a dad joke'- It's amazing.

Cons

We used to use email or Sharepoint for collaboration, email was too limited and had no accountability, and Sharepoint was way too expensive and complex.
We struggle to get everyone on board, and therefore a lot of task management still has to happen over email and text.
To cumbersome, ugly and more complicated then our staff needed or could handle. Redbooth ws the 3rd little bears bed that just fit right.

Cons

I disliked the inability to make a public group "private" after it's creation. Would occasionally lag and my.
While they are only visible to me, I am always worried that I accidentally posted something wrong.
They found it awkward that everything was a chat in Slack and uncomfortable with sending out a message that may "bother" others for small issues, and reverted to email, even with consistent reminders.

Makes files very quickly accessible, easy to sync with box, dropbox, slack, etc.

Cons

It is quite simple, there's no way to make one task contingent upon the completion of another. Would be helpful to have a feature like this.

Pros

-I like the idea of creating project boards and having everything visually laid out. -It's really easy to see who is assigned to what task, assuming everyone has uploaded profile photos. -It's easy to see what you need to do at a glance, as well as everything that has been completed so far.

Cons

-I don't like having to scroll left/right to see all of the open tasks. If your project has a lot of tasks, you could be scrolling quite a bit. Left/right scrolling just feels off to me. -I wish the desktop application would stay open when you close it, like Slack.

Pros

Incredibly versatile, one-man-band type of collaboration software. It ties communication tools (HD videoconference and chat) with task management (recurring tasks, subtasks, ...), project management (lightweight Gantt chart, workload view and time tracking), all native, in one package. It also features native Android and iOS native apps. These work well for keeping in touch with the team and create/update tasks. This is specially important for teams who are dispersed (different cities, different timezones, ...). While you can easily spend hundreds of dollars on different softwares for different purposes, Redbooth ties it all together in one.

Cons

They've been through a lot of changes over these 3-4 years and they don't seem to have found their core yet. The UI still looks something out of the first drafts and doesn't look polished or slick like other players in the collaboration space like Asana or Slack. The Dashboard is somewhat useless and just mimics a prettier email inbox while having the same behavior. Their premise of replacing email is a bit doubtful. Lots of potential, but doesn't seem to go anywhere.

It has almost everything but . . .

We use it for project planning and management. However, as our number of projects has grown we are finding internal communication within the platform to be increasingly problematic. We are scouting for a new solution.

Pros

We have been using this platform for almost a year and we love almost everything about it. It's super easy to set up and use. It's very intuitive.

Cons

It needs an internal chat feature that is not linked to a workspace. As we have added more projects we find it very difficult to find conversations within the application. All activity feeds and conversations are linked to a specific workspace. This requires us to sort through our workspaces to find the conversation. We have mentioned this to the Redbooth support team and their suggestion was to create a separate workspace to hold these conversations. This really isn't helpful to us and we don't want to create a Slack integration, especially after Slack's sale to Salesforce.

Daily communication, easy drag and drop file sharing

Pros

It's a great chat app, love the drag and drop features as well as the amazing search capabilities. We use it daily to communicate with users between different states and zip codes. Helps to keep on track with our projects.

Cons

Working to figure out proper integration with everything else we use. If it fully worked within our Redbooth software it would be a 100%. But I know that's more targeted to specific users and not a huge deal.

Great tool for teams

Clean layout, flexibility to customize and different modes of chats made it easy for our team to collaborate more efficiently.

Pros

Our team used free version of slack for some time, then we purchased a license after getting many benefits from it. With the slack offering 3 packages, each of the slack package is unique in itself . Earlier we used Redbooth for project management's and cooperation in our teams. As we got in touch with highly flexible slack which is highly customizable we shifted to it. Channel and individual chats are providing clean layout in slack. It even replaced internal emails.

Cons

It does not provide hover effect on pictures, which I prefer the most in chat application. However for this amount of money we can't get any better. Renewals could have been made more easy.
