All my files are perfectly synced and shared across my collaborators with no effort. I used enterprise versions of all the competitors and I can guarantee that they are miles away from the reliability Tresorit provides.
I love the total control and accessibility to each file or folder. We sync 9 machines with GB of data and not once we experienced a failed sync or a versioning issue. The encryption method is among the best in the industry. Usability is top notch. In my team I have MDs with our not particularly tech-savvy, and they use Tresorit with no issues.
I cannot list one single issue, Tresorit is 360 degree perfectly designed platform. I hated the 1GB size file limited but now that limitation is gone. At Tresorit they listen to their customers' suggestions.

Generally good.
Real time synchronization provides constant reassurance I always have a copy in the cloud that I can also access from anywhere.
Confusion over Tresorits and using the APP rather than logging in via a browser.

Positive features are the end-to-end encryption and secure file sharing with my clients and knowing noone even on Tresor can access your files
If you're a sole trader and don't have an IT department to sort out snags that the troubleshooting articles don't address, then be prepared to wait and wait and wait till you get answers- and be prepared to also not have your questions answered at all. It took 1.5 weeks for someone to even send me the demo video , by which time I had long already started using the free trial. I could have used...

Excellent
End-to-End Security, attention to what is needed, there is nothing superfluous.
Nothing. It meets all my requirements for security plus it has document sharing like other cloud storage sites.

It's the best solution I've seen so far to encryption.
I can keep secure backup of all my files, access them as needed from whatever device I want, and share them via a variety of methods where I control and monitor who accesses what.
It's a little pricy (though I do think it's worth the cost).
Thank you for your kind words Joseph, we always strive to provide the best experience. If you have any further insights or feature recommendations, please send us an email to support@tresorit.com Have a great day! Daniel

I love, that I can be sure on any time, that I can access all my documents and pictures where and when I want. And I'm super happy, that they are secure. Especially, when it comes to sharing the pictures with my clients.
I would love to synchronize not only the camera roll folder on my mobile automatically. Hopefully this feature will be introduced soon.

As a private user, my #1 requirement was secure storage accessible from multiple devices and operating systems, which Tresorit implements excellently (Including Linux!). It is one of the only providers with file history, thus making the product excellent not only as storage, but as a backup option as well. The customer service reacts quickly and provides helpful answers. I fully recommend Tresorit.
Tresorit offfers significantly less space than competitors for the same amount of money. This is unfortunate, but still on the "ok" side of things. However, I'm really missing the following features: - Allow other users to edit shared files without a Tresorit account - Lifetime subscriptions - Fully integrate the Android app with Android's filesystem

Using tresorit i noticed it is reliable and secure cloud storage platform. The user interface makes it easy to manage files, and the end-to-end encryption scheme is highly secure. They also have a quick consumer support that will help you in any problem you encounter.
Tresorit has an end-to-end encryption, ensuring the utmost security of your data. It has a friendly user interface, ensuring that anyone can quickly and easily access and manage their files. Additionally, its cloud storage capabilities allow users to access their data from anywhere, and its strict access controls mean that you can keep your data safe at all times. Finally, Tresorit offers reliable customer support, so you can always find the help and guidance you need when you have a query.
The only major con is that its relatively high cost when compared to other cloud storage solutions...

Very useful in enabling fast and (relatively) seamless team collaboration and file sharing across multiple teams and users within the organisation
Team management / permissioning was easy (access controls easy to set up)Works just like a folder in Windows - very convenient to use. Supports collaboration well in that multiple users can access the same folders and files, and the check-out function is handy in ensuring that user / versioning conflicts are avoided and minimised.Windows folder integration is fast.
The app itself is slower to navigate and a bit more challenging to use as compared to the windows-style folder. Internal use is easy, but giving someone who is not part of our org access on a temporary basis is more difficult (they need to set up an account which is tedious - no 'temporary pass' function)

Backing up my documents and sharing them amongst my different computer and sharing with a small team
I moved from dropbox because of end-to-end encryption so the end-to-end encryption is what I liked most. Having said that, the application interface is really easy to use and so is the web-based interface. Also, I needed to have something which works on linux since half my computers run linux.
The ability to be able to collaboratively edit microsoft word documents is a weakness.
Dear Martin, Thank you for your kind words! Unfortunately, due to the encryption system, we'll most likely not be able to release collaborative editing in the near future. If you have any further feedback or feature requests, please send us a message to support@tresorit.com Take care and have a nice day! Regards, Daniel

Tresorit is the central storage point for all my business (and private) data, especially - source codes - accounting data and tax documents providing hassle-free - secure backups - automatic sync on different workstations - an easy means of providing download links for customers (for patches, demos etc) As an additional bonus (not the main reason for use), it is convenient to access copies of all important data from all over the world (copies of passport, id, insurance and tax documents...)
It is easy to use, highly performant, secure and very reliable. I am a heavy user for more than two years now and I did not experience a single critical malfunction.
Well, it does not feature time-travel... what can I say? There are no shortcomings I am aware of.

As mentioned in my review: 5 gb free storage, end-to-end encryption with zero-knowledge by Tresorit, great iPhone app for uploading and viewing images/photos
There are multiple cloud storage solutions with different goals. For the goals of highest security (end-to-end encryption with no possibility for Tresorit or anyone else without your password to access your data) with easy/seamless access on both computer & mobile, there is no better solution that Tresorit. Features I use include: - 5 GB free for life after doing introductory tutorials/exercises -...
Obviously, even more storage for free would be better, but Tresorit gives you the highest amount of free storage for an end-to-end encrypted, zero-knowledge-by-your-cloud-storage-provider solution.

The feature that convinced me the most is the smooth Linux integration. It is quite difficult to find such a simple, yet feature rich software that does not compromise on Linux. When sharing tresors (folders) with other collaborators, everything worked perfectly out of the box. Ranging from privacy all over to encryption. Even though I'm mainly using the software for my own, It is still worth it.
I would only see the UI as a "weak point" of the software that might cause some customers to find alternatives. I don't know if the UI looks "traditional" only for Linux, but the common competition has a more polished design. On the other hand, I don't know of any such ingenious features in the competition, so I don't mind using that design. I'm happy that Tresorit invests more time in their core values that in a great look.

Files are secure and easily accessed from anywhere.
When more than one person is accessing a file, corruption easily occurs. Tresorit has tried to correct this with a new feature that marks the file "in use" so that if another person accesses it, they cannot make changes. However, it would be optimal if everyone could work on a file together and all changes would hold.

peace of mind. a one stop solution for backup, keeping several devices with synced files and sharing files securely.
easy to sync specific folders and have them synced on multiple devices in paths that I choose. it's even easier to share a specific folder/file and have it accessable only for a limited time and or download. it's equally easy to set a password that must be entered in order to access it. New files upload and download fast, really fast. The ability to restore files makes it perfect.
There are no cons, perhaps it is a bit on the expensive side, but since its so easy to use its a easy sell.

For years, I have used Dropbox, but then I read some articles about its privacy and got frightened. I was happy to change this solution, where your data is in safe, thanks to the zero-knowledge storage. By now, the app has a fully equipped interface with great features like Dropbox has (share a library/file; file history; great mobil app for Android).
I really do not miss anything. The most wanted function was the file history (so you cannot delete a file without a chance getting it back), but it has been delivered this year.

I use it all the time for "sharing" and storing files between my computer and tablet.
First and foremost: the encryptet storage of files, and the seemless use on various platforms (Linux, Android and Windows) But Aldo the total control og sharing files with (or without) password and expirationdate og each svarer file.
I miss a built in photo-browser for sharing photos (and videos) Loke the ones found in Dropbox og Google Foto

We use Tresorit to share critical and sensitive documents between our various teams. Users on different OS and hardware platforms has been flawlessly implemented.
The P2P encryption and other security measures was critical to our selection.
Honestly, I cannot think of one thing that we do not like about Tresorit. They NAILED it!

A couple of years ago we searched a secure alternative to Dropbox. We found Wuala. With the discontinuation of Wuala, we migrated to Tresorit.
Easy to use as a Dropbox. Easy to share project folders in teams. Secure data storage and sync.
We were missing a backup and recovery system à la glacier.

This is a very functional, secure and user friendly application. My clients do not need a tresorit account for me to send them confidential files or documents. I can work from multiple sites or multiple devices and maintain a secure data source. I can limit access to certain files or folders to different people and I get a comprehensive audit trail including deleted files. No system is perfect but Tresorit is getting close and it is being improved constantly.
I handle a lot of very personal and confidential information about clients and cannot risk losing this data. I also need a service that allows me to share data and documents with clients and colleagues.Tresorit allows me to maintain a single database of active client files and to work on and share files and documenst with those clients and colleagues with absolutre security.
1 A recent cyber security audit identified a need to include 2FA when logging in to Tresorit. They considered the application deficient in our audit. 2 It is also difficult to sign out of Tresorit as there is no single log out option on main screen. If my PC is hacked then there is no barrier to entering Tresorit.3 I can't backup my PC's to Tresorit daily, i.e. use to as a back and recovery server for Windows.

It's hassle free. Support service is first class - only needed it a few times but great response and service. It's easy to use and doesn't compromise on security.
The software does what it promises. It's secure. You have total control over who has access to what and records to see it all too.
There isn't really anything I can think of from a negative on this software. Been using it for years - our whole organisation document system is on this system - it works.

It is easy to install on Linux, Android and Windows and I use it on all three systems concurrently. It is fast and deals smoothly with any conflicts (which are rare). I mostly use it for personal files, some business-related and some purely personal, so rarely share documents with third parties, although this is possible and straightforward to achieve. It allows me to keep important documents and records in synch between devices, both at home and when travelling abroad. Naturally, it depends on reasonable internet connections, but I cannot think of any occasion when I have been unable to access a document of which I had need at the time. I use it every day and it provides everything I need in one place.
For me, its most useful feature is that I can deploy it seamlessly on various different platforms and operating systems with the added benefit of all data being encrypted on every device.
I run a small business and margins are tight. I mostly use open-source software that is either free or based on a contributive model. Tresorit is relatively expensive for my actual business needs but I can also use it to provide an excellent repository for personal files as well.

Overall it’s a 9.5/10. The 0.5 is for the issues I mentioned in the Cons but overall everything else is just so good I’ll be a customer for the foreseeable future if they can work on those issues, it would easily be a 10. They are absolutely the best secure cloud storage option available and 2nd place isn’t even anywhere close. In fact, perhaps laps behind.
Literally everything. After many years of using it, I can honestly say that everything about it is great. Any time I notice anything bothering me, they usually fix or add a new feature for it within the year. You can tell the staff is urgently updating and maintaining this software. There are flaws, but they’re so minor, I barely notice it in daily use. And I use it 10-15 times a day.
I also use it to store photos and videos, not just professionally. Sometimes when I am uploading photos and videos, it’ll glitch and duplicate, or freeze, or have issues finishing it and be stuck in an upload. When you close out, sometimes when you open it just resumes. Other times, it stopped and only some have uploaded. Then I have to delete what is uploaded and retry so I don’t have duplicates....

Security of my data coupled with the ease of access and user-friendly behavior of the program and the company behind it is the ultimately irresistible offer. Both for private user as well as for company of virtually any size.
Tresorite is a user-friendly cloud storage package with security at the very top level. When you do not want, you don't even have to know it is running in the background. Yet it becomes very powerful when one needs to recover the data - basically from any platform one chooses. But what is perhaps the most important is its security focus. It took me a while to put all my sensitive personal stuff in it but it's been very secure there since. It is very easy to use, very good customer support. But honestly - I did not need it that much over the years I have been using it. Can only recommend.
Nobody likes expensive solutions. But the higher subscription price of Tresorit is more than justified by the features the program offers.
