Pros

Your blackberry ping application was excellent. A very effective and innovative way of communicating, in the years 2006.
Every thing is understood about work, good support team and good interface.
It very easy to work, good and very aduptive interface.

Pros

Very positive experience - any successful business would find significant efficiencies and opportunities by moving to 365.
I love how secure the platform is, the software is easy to navigate. I love the fact that it is accessable worldwide.
We utilize all that the product has to offer on a daily basis and are quite happy with the product. It helps us manage our business better and provides the tools necessary to communicate effectively.

Cons

Sometimes it takes time to synchronize with the server and that can be annoying.
Sometimes I have trouble right after an update is released, although I'm not sure if the issue is on our companies end or the app side.
The layout of the emails on the iPhone application makes it so that it is sometimes hard to find emails.

Cons

This is the sort of thing the hard drive resident application never struggled with. Conditional formatting layered up is the sort of thing that causes problems.
Sometimes i get logged out and have trouble logging back in. This is very rare but can be confusing and upsetting as everything is on there.
I hate, hate, hate, hate the fact that you cannot install each app on its own. It is pointless to force people who only need Excel or Word to install EVERYTHING.

Online archive helps in mobile access of mails even when one is not in office.

Pros

It provides major set of Office tools under a single roof and allows multiple logins on different devices. Online archive is the most useful in current cloud conditions.

Cons

Room booking shows only specific number of rooms in room list which creates a challenge in room booking.

Adapting to Office

Reviewed 3 years ago

Business related problems solves is just communication. This tool allows me to stay in touch with all the people i can during the day.

Pros

Office 365 is a great business tool to stay in contact and share data with others even when your not in the same room. I find it helpful - during - after - and before meetings and daily work life to get things done the way i see fit.

Cons

The problem i have is the ever changing interface with Office - and multiple updates that continue to slow my days down when needing to upgrade or download something new.

The ultimate office solution

Reviewed 3 years ago

The main tool for working with general office virtual documents.

Pros

Microsoft Office is a classic and revolutionary software. It is the most complete for an office solution ever made. MS Word, Excel and Power Point are essential for every office workstation. Office 365 offer the user to be always receiving the latest version of MS Office softwares.

Cons

The only thing that I can say about MS Office 365 is the subscription price, that is expensive but it's worth the value.

Nice software package overall

Reviewed 3 years ago

Overall, positive, but there is definitely room for improvement for ease of use, etc.

Pros

It is industry standard and most people have been using it for years, therefore most functions are intuitive and relatively easy to follow.

Cons

Occasionally, formatting errors are nearly impossible to fix with almost 0 customer support. Online there are many resources but this can get time consuming.

Worth It

Reviewed 3 years ago

It provides me the ease of using cloud-powered email to reach customers and coworkers even when I travel. The software provides an avenue for collaboration with my team where we can have virtual conversation, conduct and organize meetings, and share files. It's a bonus to have all files saved to OneDrive providing me the room for online storage that I can access no matter where I am.

Pros

A few of the pros of the software is that you can install it on multiple and up to 5 computer, tablets for phones. The apps are available with a 99.9% service guarantee. There is an options to add a domain name for the company to software allowing for the creation of domain-based email addresses. The software is available when offline for ease of work.

Cons

Customer Support is based on the package purchased leaving you to research for help once your package time frame is up or you have to renew for customer support. If situation occur when you may need to cancel there may be a penalty for canceling before the end of your contract.

Overall it is good, but on the collaboration side there is a room for improvement.

Pros

They have gone long way from the desktop office and added lots of functionalities to be more cloud. They offer the whole desktop office suite to be accessible from the web.

Cons

They are still catching up on the collaboration aspect compared to gsuite. So they just added recently the comments feature on their documents but it is not as good as the gsuite one. For example on Excel sheets on the right panel you see all the comments together not broken down by every cell.

365 Suite has certainly been beneficial under the "new normals" of virtual work.

Pros

Best all around suite option for integrating communication products and working products. Many improvements to Teams, which has proven to be better than the now phased out Skype for Business

Cons

Some of the extra productivity and analytics features still seem clunky (power bi, the channels and document/planners integration within teams).

Virtual meetings and staying involved as a team working on projects placing notes in one place

Pros

It is easy to use. It has mobile apps and allows you to work offline and anywhere. The email easily opens attachments and allows virtual access to other Microsoft products like excel power point word senselessly.

Cons

There is no way to be keep from being marked away on the teams app as it defaults to 15 minutes which is garbage. The teams meeting have a lot of latency. The teams pages do not have filters so things not used for your project still trigger the same as a message.

The Kang/Kodos dilemma

Reviewed 3 years ago

Our company is working towards more production availability and capability outside the office, and trying to improve our reporting. Office 365 has helped with that in making Excel, Outlook, PDF access & editing, and Word more mobile & tablet friendly. Unfortunately, the constant updates (even more than installed versions of MS Office) seem to break our syncing with other programs, like our Applicant Tracking Software and sales productivity software.

Pros

Faster access to customized setup when you use a new machine Better collaboration options and ease of use (One Drive)

Cons

Outlook is less user-friendly in both the installed and virtual versions Constant updates break the sync with other products tied in to Outlook

Good tool

Reviewed 2 years ago

It facilitates my job, has plenty of useful tools (SharePoint, Teams, Forms, OneDrive, Planner, Yammer) and have some room for improvement.

Pros

Its integration with the whole operation is smooth. I appreciate that MS Teams is being developed so that it can finally compete with Zoom. SharePoint is hard to teach to colleagues who rarely use or previously haven't used it (its outlook and several of its features are not that evident). Outlook does well, some of its features can compete with Gmail, although its editing functions are not sufficient enough to create a newsletter directly there; an additional software needs to be used for this purpose.

Cons

SharePoint's site analytics cannot be downloaded. It's super annoying. Its search function and document management are also unclear for those who don't use it everyday. Yammer is generally not known enough, colleagues create chat groups on Viber and Facebook first instead of Yammer.

Great Products!

Reviewed 4 years ago

This is ideal for anyone even for your every day life. I use it for both business and personal dealings, it's truly ideal.

Pros

I've used Microsoft products for many years but this is the most ideal subscription to have! Everything is all in one basically and easily accessibly from anywhere. I have the Microsft programs installed on my main PC but I'm able to use the other programs easily from other devices including my iPad.

Cons

I prefer to use programs directly from my PC and not really a fan of "virtual" programs though it makes accessing any of these programs and my files very easily.

Office 365 - Is there any other option

Reviewed 3 years ago

Generally, it was an improvement for us moving from an OnPrem Exchange environment. There was little change to our end users and they got better resiliency without some local DB or a server crash. Since we already subscribed to a Sharepoint subscription, there wasn't much of a cost increase and we were able to decommission very old Exchange servers that would have been expensive to replace/upgrade.

Pros

It's universally the only real option out there and an industry standard. Users generally know the basics for Outlook, OWA or the mobile app. The admin portal has a pretty easy learning curve to manage. You can integrate with your AD infrastructure, connect conference room devices to show the room calendar and availability, access the Word, Excel, ETC programs from anywhere and sync things like OneNote, OneDrive, ETC to multiple devices.

Cons

While the basic functions of the admin portal are pretty easy to grasp, some of the advanced features such as assigning calendar permissions and such require to be done in Powershell. This can take some getting used to. I also felt the reporting can use more work but some basic stats can be obtained with a little research via PowerShell also.
