When I first started using WordPerfect in the early 90’s, I would rather have used anything else. But today’s version has come along way in its flexibility.
WordPerfect like Microsoft Word has tons of functions to create fabulous documents.
The ease of finding the functions to create your professional document isn’t the easiest.

I would recommend this for people who really aren't that familiar with word processing documents/platforms. I say this because the features are a bit lacking , which makes it simpler to use. I personally needed more features for what I had in mind.
I used this a few years back partially for my business, partially for personal use. It was a decent platform for word processing and document creation. I found some of the features lacking however and since then have been using other word documents instead, such as Excel.
Features are lacking but a decent platform for beginners of word processing .

It really depends on what you will be using it for, it has to be something really specialized since word already offers the same and it comes in the office package.
Wordperfect is a really handy software, I have used it while writing papers and medical journals, since you have to be really accurate with the word counts and this software helps a lot while counting them without having to rely on clicking several options such as word.
In spite of the word count option, word is just superior in my opinion, it has so many functions that wordperfect lacks, also there are some issues with the fonts that can really mess up your work.

I quite like the easy use of programming some activities and the use of graphics in your word processor.
Being honest I do not find faults to the product so I can not indicate that I do not like wordperfect.

Document prep
It works well for document preparation and editing, but because it isn't the industry standard it suffers a bit.
Not the industry standard, though just as functional. Given the choice I would prefer a MS product .

Hard to use you differently need the manual if you want to take advantage of all this software has to offer. It’s like a maze to use
It does it’s job. It’s very stight forward and to the point
Very old school. I started using this software back in 1997 and it has changed very little

cheap inexpensive alternative to Microsoft office word. But if your not going to buy word just take a freeware route
wordperfect isn't a bad product. It allows you to write word documents and has all the added tools you may be familiar with from Microsoft Word. But at a much lower price. Formats may be different when opening a document started in Microsoft word
I didnt find the software to be any better than freeware like libreoffice or OpenOffice. But for only a few dollars (got mine for $10) it was worth it

Corel's WordPerfect office suite is a cheaper option for word processing, spreadsheet creation and presentation design than MS Office.
Unfortunately, this WordPerfect software only works with PC. Corel does not offer a Mac-compatible version.

If you can't afford microsoft word then by all means wordperfect office is a really solid option, beware that you may have some problems when opening documents created with wordperfect on microsoft word.
Word perfect is a good alternative to microsoft word since it is cheaper, it has quick words and prediction which is always a good help when writing repetitive documents and is way more customizable than word.
It is an extra money your business has to pay for functions that probably you can handle with microsoft word, which is a program that almost every company has.

excelent for writing works
It is a very useful tool to elaborate documents that I used to project, because of the diversity of possibilities in the production and presentation of written works.
To familiarize itself with the options of production and the cost is a bit high, also to adapt to the system

I have always had a positive experience with WordPerfect Office. I look forward to seeing how they will advance this software with the changing standards of technology.
I really like how everything is set up with this software. The price of this software is budget friendly and it is helpful with any documents you need to type. I use this software for church mostly, but it is very helpful in keeping a document organized.
If you type something in Microsoft Word and transfer it to WordPerfect Office, the formatting may not look the same.

Overall, I was very pleased with using WordPerfect. It is easy to use and easy to convert to other uses (like pdf.)
I think WordPerfect is user-friendly and very similar to Microsoft Word. Having used MS Word, I felt that the transition to WP was not difficult. I like the familiarity, though there are definitely some user differences.
I didn't like the placement of certain key functions in WordPerfect. That may be, however, solely from my familiarity from using MS Word.

From early versions of OS/2 Warp and MS-DOS to WordPerfect for Unix
Perfect formatting. An elegant and cleverly designed design that is unaffected by other modern applications. Quick and easy training. The application works quickly. There is an extremely good system for automation and use and creation of macros.
Cannot use ODT/ODG/ODP formats that are popular in OpenOffice & LibreOffice. The lack of a specific application for any vector graphics similar to OpenDraw or LibreDraw. Extended standard spreadsheet for engineering mathematics to spreadsheet Quattro Pro. The lack of some functionality from the Lotus Improv at QuattroPro. The lack of a built-in Python API as in the 3D graphics and animation application - Blender. Be able to maintain the same macros as OpenOffice/LibreOffice.
