I liked its overall approach, where a whole organization can interact & stay in touch with each other. It was good using it.
It is clunky & runs into problems, my previous employer stopped using it because Whatsapp, Google Calendar & Meet where doing all the work for free.

I will not continue to use Workplace since the paid version lacks important business features in my opinion
Everything seemed to be good with the free version, but then after some months they discontinued it and now you must pay.
Workplace did not feel much better than a WhatsApp group or Slack group, etc...There were no useful business features for task management, calendar, etc...

Short and simple answer? All my social media applications under Meta are linked. Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger. That means seamless and efficient data sharing across all the platforms.
Workplace did have the occasional performance issues. Unexpected crashes, lags, and weird errors (especially in the mobile version)

I love to use FB because I still keep in touch with my school friends via FB. It helps to remember and wish my friends on their birthday.
- Ease of use - Interface is good - Can unfollow or unfriend others without that person’s knowledge. - tabs are well planned, (a tab for pages).
- Very addictive. - Doesn't have an option to turn off the friend request. - Quality of the photo will reduce once we upload to FB. - Repeating some features in FB, WhatsApp and Instagram.

The UI & UX of Workplace is great as it is similar to the social network we already use. It is a great way for organizational announcements and closes gaps that can occur in communication from the HODs to the executive level.
Workplace by Facebook is a brilliant tool for organizations. People are really accustomed to using Facebook for communication and updates and Workplace does this for organizations in a similar UI and features.
Confidentiality can be a concern on this. For file sharing this might not be the most effective tool. There are security concerns as well with the privacy issue of Facebook & WhatsApp coming under more & more scrutiny.

It is easier to manage most of our social media accounts in one platform (Meta), we can engage with out customers on Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp from Meta and generate detailed analytics reports. We can schedule posts for holidays.
At this stage, I haven't had any issues and suggestions. Meta is providing everything we need to engage with our customers online in this digital age.

I use workplace by facebook to exhibit my creative and literary talents to prospective clients. Its a platform with a wide user base whichakes it a very convenient advertising platform. I thank Facebook for the development of this tool.
I started using workplace recently, during the pandemic when I was forced to restrict movement out of the house. It is a wonderful platform to exhibit your talent and proficiency. It allows your client to see your work and contact you through messenger or WhatsApp. Facebook's universal reach allows me to contact many prospective clients and it is very easy to communicate with them. I would definitely recommend this platform to anyone is the creative business.
It takes a little time to understand all the features and tools of the platform, but once you do so, it is very easy.

Whatsapp has a myriad of features, such as audio and video calls, audio recordings, bot management, etc. For personal use I like the audio recording the best, but for business use it's the bot management system, this saves us a lot of labour.
Frankly I don't like that it's being owned by Meta. I understands that to keep it low price or free for personal use Meta has to gather enormous amounts of data on their users and activity, and I simply do not feel comfortable with that.

The fact that I can chat with my teammates and customers directly from WhatsApp without worrying about my SMS and call usage.

I have had such a positive experience with this App. It keeps me in touch with so many people that I have met around the world and it is so user friendly.
Whatsapp is so useful for keeping in touch with people around the world. I teach English around the wprld and WhatsApp is my go to app to stay in contact with students, friends and coworkers I meet during my travels. I use this app daily and and it is extremely user friendly.
I personally haven't found any flaws with WhatsApp. However, I have heard that it could share info with Meta.

overall - is a good app for live chat - easy for company and easy for clients to use
This is the biggest app used by the world for communication (as of 2021) so it is almost a must to have whatsapp integration for the communication with the clients. very easy to use, very friend and easy to program and integrate
lacks sharing features with salesforce. We recommend meta / facebook to improve the integration with other app such as salesforce

It creates more efficiency in the workplace! If you need a quick answer from someone, it is much easier to use this app rather than email or call.
My favorite thing about WhatsApp is that it is free to download and use. It can be really useful when you are out of the country and you need to talk/text to someone back home. It’s nice to have that option without buying an expensive international phone/text/data plan! It’s also a super easy and convenient way to quickly get ahold of people in the workplace.
Only smart phones are supported. My grandparents do not have smart cell phones, so if I needed to get ahold of them when I was out of the country, I couldn’t do it with this App.

Whatsapp is a great easy messaging software that can be used for personal or business use.
Whatsapp is great to setup group messaging on phone as well as calling people instantly. You can also delete messages.
When sending files there is a file size limitation which prohibits messaging large files to groups in workplace situations.

Ever since the first time i have used, i have never had a issue. I've used here in the states and also over seas without a problem.
Very easy to use and setup. Also very easy finding other users. I've never experienced a failed message or had trouble accessing.
The only thing is Meta owns it. I'm just not a fan of Meta's practices and how i think they share user data for profit.

This app makes it very easy for large groups to communicate! You can all keep up to date on daily notes with one easy message. It is very user friendly, and works seamlessly.
I wish it could be connected to other workplace apps in order to send and share other information within the messenger.

Communication is very important in the workplace. Whatsapp helps us keep in touch, update each other and discuss any matters conveniently without having to arrange meetings. It is easy to use and everyone has installed an app on their phone. It is simple and straightforward. you are always certain that the person you sent a message has read it or not. It also comes with advanced security features to ensure information doesn't get to the wrong hands.
Whatsapp provides an easy way to send messages, videos, pictures and documents securely. It allows you to choose who sees your profile photo, status and last seen details. You can also see if the recipient is online and if they have read your message. You can also call, video call, create a workmates groups or discussion forums. They recently introduced a feature to allow you to delete a message that you send to the wrong person or group. You can use the mobile app or Whatsapp web.
It is dependent of the internet. If your internet connection is not stable, you may experience delays when sending or receiving messages. It is kind of addictive because of its conversational nature. People in the workplace may spend time chatting other things apart from work-related issues.

Whatsapp is an amazing free tool to help you communicate with the whole world, It's simple, free and also satisfying, I use Whatsapp everyday like I chat with my life partner while I'm at work, I also call my friends and my team group using Whatsapp.
Easy to use, simple, good functionality for an application that is free, also you can log in from a computer or a smart phone, I do not worry about the privacy because Meta dose not use many data about the customer. We can talk about " status " function which is way too fun, also I can promote my work projects.
I think we don't have many disadvantages in Whatsapp only some few things that need to be developed like If I made a small mistake in my status I have to remove it all, edit it and then repost it, If the developers created an editable status function this will be more satisfying and nice !

I have been using WhatsApp long before it became a part of Meta. It has evolved over the years from a simple quick messaging service to a complete communications platform. Easy to share files, links, call, video call, chat and message. The best part is you can do so much with the free version and all communication is encrypted.
It's so easy to use. Simply add a contacts number to your phone and you are able to message them on WhatsApp. The best is you have integrated video and calling as well.
Nothing. Its perfect and has been improving a lot over the years.

WhatsApp protect my privacy by encrypting my communication with my patients, this gives me peace of mind .
I like that the mobile App service is free and its supported internationally, which means I can communicate with other people outside my country. It is also trustworthy as its owned by Meta(Facebook)
Unexpected global outage which interrupts communication. The performance of the App is determined by the speed of my internet connection

From my experience, who have been using this software for years now, the qualities that I value the most, are the ease that I have to communicate and work through the app. From day to day talk, online mettings, paperwork exchange, it's the fastest and easiest way to contemplate all my personal and workplace needs.
I find that when the internet has a low signal, the video calls can have a bad sound and image quality, even though the internet connection is sufficient for other applications.

We use whatsapp as one of our support channels for our business. Its has been an excellent communication tool.
Firstly, whatsapp is free and is so simple to use . We use it almost all the time to chat to customers and colleagues.
There is no cons to having whatsapp as it is so beneficial to have in the workplace. However i do hope they are working on more integration capabilities.

I travel often and WhatsApp allows my clients to reach me anywhere in the world, as long as I have an internet connection. This means that I don't even have to have a working SIM card, as long as there is a wifi connection, I am accessible. WhatsApp also allows me to communicate with multiple customers at once through group chats or broadcast messages. This is great, because unlike an ad, this goes directly to the persons phone in the form of a message. It's much more likely to get a read and response this way.
What I love most about WhatsApp is that it provides a mobile solution for chatting, calling/video calling, file sharing, and more for anyone with a cellphone. There are no international charges, it does not matter the kind of phone or operating system that you have, WhatsApp works and it works well. I have been using WhatsApp probably since its original release and have seen every update. I continue to use the software because it works, and it feels like a dedicated messaging/calling app.
I think the most troublesome aspect of this app is that it is owned by Meta who have had numerous questionable practices, particularly in the realm of privacy which is hugely important.

My experience has been pretty good. I have found that this tool is quite reliable and convenient. It's a practical solution to solve simple communication issues with no hassle or technological know how. The tool is straightforward to use and efficient
WhatsApp is responsive and reliable. It is compatible with Android and iOS devices. For the purposes of field work, I rely on this tool for remote workplace inspections/audits and general communication for updates from the team. This helps keep everyone informed and aware of next steps.
The video conferencing tool can become unstable sometimes- maybe due to internet connectivity when working at remote sites. There's also a significant lag sometimes, which can become frustrating as team members will need to keep repeating themselves

The E2EE gives perfect security. Having a secure way of having conversations outside of the workplace but still in a secure arena is vital.
The fact you can't do video calls via the web application. This would open doors and allow us to facilitate much better.
