Pros

Zoho Docs is one of the best secure online documentation cloud i ever used, besides it continuously improve their features, and provides us 'the best' service.
What I like about this software is very simple; there is no outstanding issue and it is fast. I might need to click several times to reach where I want, but it is functional.
Zoho docs is one of the best file storage software which can save every kind of documents. It is cheaper than Microsoft office and if is almost equally good as Ms office suit.

Pros

I used this majority of my way in high school, college and now the post graduate work like. It’s so easy to navigate and I LOVE IT I share documents with my colleges ans co workers it’s amazing.
Super easy to use since it's just like Microsoft Office. Great if your device doesn't have Office and you need to use the same platforms.
I love how easy it is to use and how file sharing is super integrated. The quality for the cost of the product is super.

Cons

Free user can use only up to 5gb and downloads and it limits  10gb per day. Another bad thing is we cannot upload folder to it.
The ios app is terrible and needs major work to make the search work.
On some occasions it has been difficult for me to download the content in the application. It is depending on the cellphone model.

Cons

Some options are missing from it, but that is to be expected from a web-based app. The only thing I dislike is how hard it is to open the documents generated in Google Docs through other software.
The downside of this is that someone can edit the document as you are presenting and mess with your presentation or confuse your line of thoughts.
The icons are small and it's easy to accidentally press the wrong button or hit the wrong combination of keystrokes and change the menu into tiny icons with no explanations.

Its free alternative of google docs, docs spreadsheet i use it almost daily and sharing it with others is also very user friendly and hence i use it within my company team

Pros

We use zoho docs in my company for everything and google docs charges for the same features in their business plan but zoho gives it for free

Cons

Nice very close to what google docs provide but at times the loading time is a lot and slow performance when using zoho spreadsheet, formulas are not as good as google docs

Zoho Docs is the PERFECT alternative to Google Docs!

I've used Zoho Docs many times before. Even though my default office program is Google Docs, through my experience with Zoho, I cannot find anything inferior about it. It has good integration with websites like Youtube, and even transitions great between Microsoft Word and Google Docs. If you want to support the underdog, use this program.

Pros

It has all the features of Google Docs, and in some cases even more. You can seamlessly integrate many platforms with it, and it is rather asthetically pleasing too.

Cons

Even though it is as good as Google Docs, it's not Google Docs. If you want to use what everyone else is using, you may want to veer away from this one.

Pros

We live Zoho Docs and Google Docs, however, sometimes you want more privacy and security with your docs and data. This is what you are going to get with Zoho Docs.

Cons

As long as Zoho and Google continue to compete with each other, it won't be hard to see both of these solutions in competition and improving over time. With that said, we would like to see better mass management tools for sorting, editing, deletion and more.

Pros

Our company started used Zoho Mail so we decided to also start using Zoho Docs. As a current user of Google Docs, I find Google Docs to be very intuitive and easy to use with a simple and clean user interface. Zoho Docs is comparable with similar features.

Cons

Although the user interface is similar, I would still prefer Google Docs. Also, the sharing feature is very confusing! With Google Docs, you can easily share documents with a link but that link is so difficult to find for Zoho Docs! Zoho Docs - if you are reading this, please make it simpler to share the link for documents (for now, I have to click many times to find the permalink but that should be available when I'm trying to share and set collaborators).

Pros

Comparable to Google Docs in accessibility and online use but with better templates than Googel Docs. They also give you free storage of 5gb.

Cons

Like Google Docs, it's very very basic as compared to Microsoft Word. Also there are real issues of compatibility with using a document made in Zoho in the Google suite.

Solid and sometimes superior replacement for Google Docs

As always with Zoho products, I was pleasantly surprised at the features provided for free. However, certain workflow and performance issues keep me from using the tools full-time.

Pros

Zoho Docs wouldn't be all that special without Zoho Writer, which is the unsung hero of free online word processors. I've reviewed it positively on Capterra and highly recommend it. So it's hard to talk about Zoho Docs, which is basically the management hub for multiple Writer docs, without also talking about Writer. Zoho Docs provides feature parity with Google Docs and improves it in many respects. For instance, all Zoho Docs can be sync continuously with Dropbox. I guess it makes sense that Google Drive continuous sync isn't included. ;-) Zoho Writer now provides an integrated grammar checker/writing assistant called Zilia, which in my tests provides better advice than Grammarly and for free. I like the Zoho Docs templates better than those from Google Docs.

Cons

UI fonts are too small and too light to be read easily by these old eyes. I couldn't find any settings to change the default other than increasing the browser zoom. That's bad. Everything loads slowly on underpowered devices and there's no feedback as to the state of the interface. UI elements are therefore often slow to respond. No integration with Zoho Notebook, for some inexplicable reason, which makes Notebook kind of pointless. No integration with Evernote either so that's a definite workflow issue.

Zoho Docs is a great tool to collaborate online and wonderful tool for the team working remotely and working in different time zones. Very affordable and easy to use. Highly recommended.

Pros

Zoho Docs is power packed tool of Zoho Universe. Following are the pros of Zoho Docs: - Secure and centralized document management - Remote access to files and documents - Easy to create, edit, share, view and upload any type of files and documents - Collaborate online to edit docs by multiple employees simultaneously.

Cons

Although Zoho Docs is a great tool but still have some scope of improvements to reach level of Google Drive and OneDrive.

Zoho Docs is the best document management platform. Using amazing features which provided by Zoho Docs are allow you good chance to collaborate with your colleagues and also you can access the permissions. You don't have to download all files, just sync some important files and use them offline. Zoho Team had done a great job with that one. I think everyone needs that kind of docs program, so it definitely worth to try.

Pros

Price is reasonable, awesome features which are better than Google Docs in some cases and of course customer service is helpful.

Cons

Actually, I did not see any negative sides of Zoho Docs, but extra new tools would not be bad)

Zoho Docs: Easy and Intuitive

All in all, I wish I could replace Google Docs with Zoho Docs. I simply prefer using Zoho Docs more. If I had a large company I might do so for internal use. But given that most of the people I communicate with don't use, and have never used Zoho, it makes Zoho a difficult choice as a go to word processing platform.

Pros

Zoho Docs is easy to use, robust, online, and free for up to three users. It offers a feature rich platform not found on platforms that are entirely free. Work is saved automatically on the web so one never needs to worry about constantly saving work or fear losing it. Although its been a while since I've logged onto Zoho, writing this review reminds me of what a good word processing platform Zoho and what I'm missing by not taking greater advantage of the many features Zoho Docs has to offer. Given my personal preference, I'd rather use Zoho Docs over Google Docs.

Cons

The problem with Zoho Docs is that it isn't ubiquitous; whereas Google Docs is. If I want to share something on Zoho Docs they need a Zoho account and if they don't have a Zoho account they need to create one and this is considered a hassle by many, and indeed is a hassle. While more robust than some of its competitors, Zoho Docs is also a bit clumsy.

Not good. I would choose Microsoft Word or Google Docs over Zoho docs every time. In fact this is what I do - even though I use Zoho for task management, I still go to Microsoft Word for documentation. That should tell you something.

Pros

Obviously the fact that it is integrated into other Zoho software, such as Zoho Projects, is nice. For me consolidating tasks and documentation into one repository would be very good...if only the tool were better.

Cons

It just doesn't hold a candle to a tool like Microsoft Word, lacking so many features and the interface is clunky. It is probably more fair to compare it to Google Docs, but again it is lacking here.

Was looking forward to solving a large number of problems but it seems, that this product is still a child when it comes to working large files. 2 out of 10.

Pros

great product with multiple integrations, nice UI. Something original and different. Appealing at first.

Cons

Not for business clients. The speed of the product and functionality is not that great. Paid fonts which are otherwise available in Google Docs and Office, are not available. PDF download issues. Drive does not work as expected. Poor to Very poor inter-portability between Docs and Zoho Sign.

Easy word processing and document creation, stored conveniently in the cloud.

Pros

It functions very similarly to Google Docs, which I have grown accustomed to. As an added benefit, Zoho offers free business accounts, comparable to Google's G Suite, which is no longer free.

Cons

The main drawback to this software is that it doesn't have the following the Google Docs has, which makes the pool of possible collaborators/people I shared documents with significantly smaller. Almost everyone these days has at least one Google account, so sharing is easy, but very few people that I collaborate with have Zoho.

My first experience with Zoho Docs was when I needed to migrate a lot of files from another platform to Zoho, because as I already use other tools from Zoho and keeping documents on the same platform helps me to make my business all connected. Overall my experience is very good with Zoho.

Pros

I like so much use Zoho Doc for the for the security it transmits when storing my files and addition to offering much more space than other platforms.

Cons

His interface interactions are a little difficult to use then google drive for exemple. The user needs to be a little more mature more to understand. I wold like that Zoho Docs working with more usability.

Our overall experience with Zoho Docs has only been positive and I look forward to continuing to use Zoho Docs for all of our storing and sharing needs as we continue to grow as a team.

Pros

Zoho Docs is absolutely perfect for sharing and storing documents within my team. We are able to upload any documents that we can think of to make sure that they are safe and shared with the entire team. I would highly recommend Zoho Documents to any team that is looking for a cost-effective and easy way to share and store their documents for their small business.

Cons

The one thing that I don't like about Zoho Docs is that there seems to be a bit of an issue with loading up screenshots or other photo type of documents that we're looking to share with our creative team. Otherwise, the software is flawless and performs at a very high level for our team.

I use this software for managing my online document in term of sending or sharing the document. All my document is very organized by using this software which will help me to get my document more quickly without any delay.

Pros

Zoho Docs offers a very large storage for document storing and many useful tools for document sharing purpose. The uploading and downloading speed is very fast and i never have any problem to accessing back to my files from the cloud storage. Integration and sharing my files to third party service like Google Drive.

Cons

This software has something missing in the spreadsheet document creation. I am familiar with Microsoft Excel formulas, and this software did not support the formulas and using their own formulas which i will need to explore it more and it will take some time to totally familiar with it.

quite nice software, most important things is that Zoho Docs is reliable program I can recommend anybody.

Pros

Zoho docs is great program that allows you store documents inside it with easy and secure way. It is really helpful program to upload and download any kind of documents, whenever you want you can find any kind of documents and share with anyone without any delay.

Cons

I do not have any problem with this software generally, but synchronization is pretty slow sometimes.

Another strong reason to use Zoho Docs is the ease with which you can attach any document in your Zoho Docs drive to an e-mail. I don't have to download the Zoho Document to my computer before attaching and sending it to a colleague.

Pros

I am able to write and format documents for work assignments and personal letters on my computer, tablet, or iPhone.

Cons

I know this is picky, but I would like more formatting options for creating and designing tables. Besides that, I have no complaints.

This product is better than Zoho Docs and matches almost everything on a wishlist of Microsoft Word.

Pros

Google docs is great for collaborating online in real-time. The features match almost everything available in higher priced options (like Microsoft Word) You can save and export to different formats.

Pros

What are the alternatives to Google Docs? Microsoft Word... Zoho... nothing can really compete. Google Docs provides the flexibility of cross-compatibility (the files can be accessed on any device) and multi-user collaboration.

Cons

Docs is not as feature-rich as Word. For example, it does not handle images very well. There are not as many formatting options as other services. However, these negatives are minimal if you're simply creating a paper without any multimedia.

Overall, it's an integral part of my workflow. I use docs for planning, blogging, project management and journaling.

Pros

I love how easy it is to manage docs from any device. We manage all of the docs at our agency with google. We've tested microsoft & Zoho but Google is hands down the easiest and most flexible.

Cons

I don't like how hard it is to find docs I've worked on in the best. Only complaint.

If one-off document then it is convenient to use. But I would like to create different folders, tags to group my related documents together.

Pros

Quick document creation, sharing, commenting, and collaboration. Everyone usually has a google account and hence works great.

Cons

Organizing the docs is not efficient. Creating folders is in google drive but all docs in google docs.

My experience with Google Docs has been very positive. They have improved their functionality over the years and made it easier to leverage for both business and personal use.

Pros

Google Docs makes it very easy to collaborate, offer suggested edits, post comments, and share information with your team or friends.

Cons

The formatting doesn't always work when moving from Word Docs to Google Docs or from Google Docs to Word Docs. This can be frustrating when you want to collaborate in Google Docs, but need to submit a word document.

Pros

I like Google Docs because it is free of charge for 24/7 through out the year. To start using Google Docs it only requires the user to have a google account, which takes less than a minute to accomplish. I like Google Docs because it is easy to use and become a pro user.

Cons

I do not have much about dislikes, but they should allow other users with other accounts like Yahoo and Outlook to access and use Google Docs.

Happy to have this feature but could be a lot more user-friendly and easier to access.

Pros

One can store all of his/her documents in one place and have them on the go, wherever and whenever needed, in your phone. Plus, it's a lot easier to access and read them in Google Docs rather than save them in regular Words on your phone.

Cons

Sharing should be easier. Shared docs shouldn't be mixed with private docs.
