Useful project management tool that's completely free!. Trello is a free project management tool that follows a simple 'post-it note' approach which is great to help you visualise all of your projects. The projects can be broken up into section (known as cards), with the ability to set due dates to tasks. Files can be attached to the cards, making it easy to share documents, and tick lists can be used to list tasks so that you can see all components of a project as its progress. I find Trello most effective when you have tasks that move through a process in the project lifecycle, with the cards representing the different stages. People can be added to the different projects and assigned to specific tasks. People can also be assigned to the various projects, allowing them to only see what they need to see. As with most of the other project management tools, email alerts can be set up to notify you of notifications that affect you, as well as notifications within the tool.
