Pros
Ease of use and great templates. Vendor provides excellent training and follow up.
They have great customer support. We were new to file sharing programs like this, and this did allow us to understand the pros and cons of using such a system, while not spending a lot of money.
My customers love the fact that they can log in, see all the plans/specs and track their budget. It's a good tool that exploits the professional approach we take with our projects.
Pros
Trimble releases helpful videos and discloses release notes for every update. Very passionate people behind a very young but very robust product.
I really do enjoy using Project Sight. It’s a good software and I think other companies will began to utilize it in the near future.
Collaboration is great, and moving file share back to Connect so integrations to Egnyte, Box or Dropbox may be available in the future.
Cons
I dislike the difficulty to backup the information on a daily basis.
I get the feeling that we were at the early stages of the product development. So, we ran into a few more problems using it than I thought we would.
The project setup was rather cumbersome and would sometimes delay initial entry of the project.
Cons
I get download errors constantly. I have yet to be able to complete a download.
The lack of mobile capabilities keeps us from using it. On the financials, it needs to be on par with Prolog Manager, which it is not yet.
IT is hard to download files compared to other programs.
