Using this on PSFA projects and it is better than the previous system.
Is good for history purpose as long as users enter the information. Ease of a program is important for time management.
Sometime is cumbersome and takes to many steps to complete a task. Uploading data or documents could be easier.

Every other day it takes a little to load the files. You try to open processes and keeps loading.

The information was reliable, efficient, and accurate. I like that it gives a confirmation data to be documented that it was paid. I like the consistency of the program.
It is step by step easy not at all a difficult program to learn. The information is reliable and in my opinion the program is efficient precise.

Love the ability to house all project related docs in 1 system & use it for processing Work Orders, RFP's, and invoices.
System tends to lag often, view options for customizing info columns in modules is limited, bidding/schedule modules need upgrade for better functionality.

Linear programming, really helpful when searching for documents, standardize the filing work. Customer service is great.
Dashboard needs to improve, adding more columns. Difficult to produce reports with functions, needs more thoughts on how to improve this application.

Great for sharing info with A/E and engineers and construction companies and here we also have Texas A&M Campus officials that review what is being put in this product making sure we share all our record info we have.
Alerts me when files I need to keep for our records are added in. Record Drawings, Submittals and Warranties etc.
Sometimes it is slow probably a network problem.

I love being able to notify a group of people of a document upload with a click of a button. I also like that I can keep track of shop drawings per sheet.
Takes a little time to learn. If you change the work flow throughout the project life, it is a little complicated.

Your polling and survey software was very easy to use
e-Builder's reporting functionality is second to none. I am able to use out-of-box and custom reports to get my people the data they need. The way the dashboard function links with these reports to show charts and graphs is important as well.
My one interaction with the online/email based tech support went unanswered. I had to follow up with a phone call 29 hrs after my submission.

I really like the ease of customization that I can implement myself as an admin and the reports that can be created.
There are a handful of improvements that we are working with our account manager to get addressed but this doesn't always seem to be a quick process

The rate of implementation can be too fast at times, which leads to some problems.
Document Management and workflow are key pieces that are helping our organization. The ability to utilize BI for reporting is also a major plus.
Rigidity of the design and code that hampers some desired (custom) functions. Many times during implementation we have had issues with not being able to change some key pieces because "the code won't allow it."

Learning this system was an easy task to accomplish while not holding up any of our projects. Working with a major hospital in the New York City, keeping track of submittals, change orders and invoices has made past and current project run much smoother.
You track the the paperwork and processes with ease.

Expand eB certification training opportunities.
The single location for all project data is huge asset. Staff is able to find all nec. information quickly.
The Planning module is a huge disappointment. Site response time varies greatly. We need more training materials.

Its a great company and has the sold weight of Trimble behind it. They need to start investing in a new interface to keep track.
It is a great tool for owners in the space - it covers every aspect from funding to change to schedule and packages it up into a single product. Also a big fan of the program management functionality which really sets it apart from the construction management software that you often see which only focuses on a single project.
The UX/UI is extremely dated and needs a touch up. Custom coding on the WBS/CBS is a bit clunky too and needs a lot of training for people to get right.

It's challenging, and allows the creation of a consistent standard set of practices across the organization.
It's challenging to learn and to use sometimes. It is also difficult to express the benefits to outside contractors who will be using the system.

We have been using eBuilder for 3 years. It has totally turned around our construction management program. Information is available at the touch of a button. It has improved collaboration with the owner, contractor and design team. Accountability has improved too.
Ease of use. Cloud based.

Some data fields not available for setting up reports. Some fields that I need such as budget line item cannot be used in some reports.

We utilized e-Builder for a tenant improvement project because it was already in use by the institution for whom we worked. The learning curve was steep for the GC and their accounting department, but as a PM/CM consulting firm I found it accessible and a solid broad spectrum tool. The mandated use by the institution for budgeting and cost functions brought more useful information to the table, and made it easier to justify the effort to the vendors. I instituted its use for meeting schedules and minutes, and updates of the project schedule. With all of these elements in the same tool it became easier to provide status reports.
The broad spectrum for inputs. We utilized the system from the bidding module through the pay application and closeout processes. With everything in a common repository it saved time and effort in providing the necessary support documents for the various business processes.
The lack of flexibility in the workflows meant that the front-end planning for use had to address all potential alternatives. The system favors a Design-Build approach which assumes the design team to be the construction managers. Our project was Design-Bid-Build with the PM/CM managing the build and having only limited need for design sign-off.
