Procore is efficient and easy to use. It keeps information organized and archived. I like how it is a hub for all the things I need.
The Quickbooks connector sometimes is inefficient. I can't send contacts from Quickbooks to Procore.

This is the first time we have used it. It works great on the management of the project. Just keep in mind once your onboarding period has passed you need to pay for any additional customer support from them.
One of the best features is the ability for your subcontractors to sign in and submit invoices, change orders, and correspond with you.
The quickbooks integration does not flow as smoothly as it should

Its a great option if you are a construction company with hard bid projects with subcontractor agreements, etc. It sync most things with your quickbooks software. Its pretty smooth with keeping budgets and billing is nice and easy for clients to understand. it does not work well with cost plus projects.
Ease of budget updates and billing, use of subcontractor agreements and the ability to allow subcontractors to log in and update items etc.
not all features sync with quickbooks software. It doesn't work well for bidding.

I like the consistency it creates between projects and project managers.
Currently, it cannot connect with Quickbooks, so we have to double enter our commitments.

Overall the experience has been good. It has helped the functionality of the business.
It really made everything easier and more accessible for everyone involved. The general contractor, Customers and subs can see how the project is going from beginning to end.
Sometimes the erp sync with quickbooks is a little faulty. The staff normally gets things resolved quick.

Commitments initiation and approval works well as well as reporting and budgeting process. CS works with you to customize as needed
Does not interact well with quickbooks to record payments made on commitments. Currently, this is done manually

Easy user interface. New users require little onboarding. Most 3rd party providers already trained up on ProCore because of popularity. Probably the best PM platform out there.
Does not integrate project financials, so separate software needed to track. Although, I understand quickbooks integration is coming.

I love that everything is in one place and portable.
We currently can not use QuickBooks with Procore. The software freezes and has glitches in random places in the most inopportune times.

I like the directory, RFI notifications, and document sharing. Adding people to the system is also a plus. The downside is that not everyone we invite to use the software for bidding or project purposes uses the software properly. There is a bit of a learning curve in that regard.
There's no financial integration to Quickbooks. We would like to find a management software that directly links to our accounting software for pay applications, change orders, etc.

We are using Procore for only short time period projects and it is extremely helpful for us. You don't have to create a customer account to share files. Good integration with Quickbooks. They do not have any limitations of customization and that makes it the perfect product. Easy to access and use.
Procore has lack of speed of synchronization. They have to take care of that problem, the price can be expensive, but it completely deserves for that kind of service. It works properly on high-speed internet.

have rolled this out to our planning, finance, and construction teams with good feedback on ease of use, bid management and project management. Core of the product is good but not flexible. No real feedback from Procore on upgrade/development plans. Pricing is ridiculous as a % of sales...we're incented not to grow or use their product in the future. Not familiar with any other enterprise platform that has that model.
Ease of use, GUI
no real integration with major tools such as Box, SAP, Project Reporting is awful and not flexible. can bring data in but can't get it out.

Procore has given us so many tools at every level in order to organize and track our projects. This is so important for every project and helps everyone stay on the same page.
I loved how robust Procore was. It had so many features that allowed you to organize and track just about every aspect of every project, no matter how big or small. They have wonderful training videos on how to work each program and how to navigate the platform. I also liked that you could invite your subcontractors to collaborate with you inside of Procore at no additional cost to them. Overall, a really great software program.
I felt that integration with Quickbooks was a very lengthy process. We had to do several test runs, upload thousands of codes into our system and we were constantly having issues with our server firewall blocking access to the ERP syncing. It was not just an issue in the beginning, but an ongoing issue.

Procore is great, it has improved our company's operation.
I love being able to add anyone to the directory and they immediately have access to the whole project. It makes it a very smooth transition for anyone joining in the middle of a project. Being able to edit drawings and show all current revisions is very convenient. Inspections tab is also very useful tool for me, as well as the ability to track daily activities, even timecard information. Also nice to have mobile capabilities.
I'm not sure this is a con, but it would be nice to have some sort of integration capability with QuickBooks. Sometimes it feels as though doing double the work taking information from QB and entering into Procore, and the other way around. Also, I would like the ability to add new users to a project from the mobile app. I often get requests for access while in the field and have to just make note and enter when I am back at my desk, which is often some long amount of time later.

not impressed at service at time of renewal. The in-house integration with Quickbooks was weak, didn't operate as advertised. We canceled it and requested a refund. We should have been refunded, but procore management was unhelpful. If they would have provided a refund, we would have continued to be very pleased and would have continued to consider Procore a valued partner. In light of the weak tool and weak response to our dissatisfaction, and unwillingness to stand behind it or offer a refund, we went from considering Procore a partner to considering Procore just another vendor.
budget, invoicing, commitments, RFI's, submittals,
your system should manage subcontractor waivers, payments, and 2-party checks; this is a big hole in your system! punchlist system takes too long to make entries. scheduling system relies on outside systems drawing mark-ups are under-developed timesheets are underdeveloped it should integrate with

Our firm signed up for Procore prior to their Quickbooks integration. The Procore sales team promised us all of the great things that would be integrated; once the integration took place we were extremely upset to find out that everything they said would be integrated was in fact not. When we tried to discuss this with Procore their response was only "Sorry you signed up for a year." We paid a substantial sum of money for this service and spent hours of time learning the system and getting everything up and running only to find out they had completely misrepresented their services. I would not at all recommend the use of Procore.

From time to time, it seems like the Live Chat is outsourced to another country. For a few months in the summer, I was sent online links to solve my problem. 10 times out of 10, they were pages I had visited BEFORE I started the Live Chat. When I get a "link" as a solution, I often will end the chat immediately and start over, hoping to get a different rep. OR I'll pick up the phone and call in order to talk to a live person. I hope Procore is not outsourcing... It doesn't work well.
For ease of use, it's the videos, online message boards, live chat that make it doable. For features - again it's ease of use, the many tabs which to choose from, budget items, the fact it syncs with Sage accounting, the document control.
The directory - adding existing contacts to other companies is very tricky, often un-doable if the e-mail is the same. So is deactivating them from the project/company. The Inspection tab - creating the pas/fail option to templates takes more time than it should. The Observation tab is more like the Inspection, less like a real observation of an area. I'd like to be able to enter several items...

Procore has given us as a small company the power to satisfy customers and develop a high level of confidence in us. The visibility to the customer of the project has been a great asset for them to not even have to visit the jobsite unless desired. My superintendents are able to utilize the functions and areas of Procore to help keep the project on track and document any problems with much less effort...
The only downside that I currently have with Procore is that they continue to develop more tools than we have been able to keep up with implementing!

The project management tools do allow for strong collaboration on issues and to have a lot of the pieces of a construction project in one place. Perhaps if Procore would have had a more flexible subscription option, and allow for use of the PM tools without paying for the tools we couldn't implement, we would have wanted to continue our subscription longer.
Strong Project Management capability including Contact Management per job, Submittal & RFIs workflows and approvals with ease of communication on mobile devises. Also, syncing with Microsoft Project schedules is a time-saver, and allows views for updated project schedules in calendars. On a customer support level, I did find the live chat very helpful as well as all the Procore tutorials on the various features. I also greatly valued how documents could be uploaded and the system would recognize the drawing page references and label accordingly when saving.
Insufficient as a sole source for accounting services, and does not support information transfers in/out of QuickBooks desktop versions (even with support of Procore connectors). Therefore, accounting team needs to duplicate efforts and manually update prime contracts. Additionally, the accounting module does not really communicate with the project management module so challenged to know as a team...
