Overall it is a great system,  they have an awesome trainer that will work with you until you got it. Customer service is also real helpful.

Occasionally when trying to switch between estimates or screens I inadvertently will hit the close window button which closes the program. On bad days this can really raise your blood pressure.

I have been using ProEst for the last year and have for the most part been very happy. The customer support has been very good.

However, if you like you can use simple unit takeoffs and apply a cost to them later. Proest can be as complex or as simple as you'd like for it to be and for the money, it's a pretty good program.

They call you back right away and they seem to care and want to take care of any issues. They are good at explaining the program or any issues that you might have.

Terrible schedule program; visually unable to have clients and vendors understand it.

I like the fact they have modernized the software to a cloud based system, also like the fact 2 people can work in the same estimate at the same time.

I do have one complaint which may seem petty, but it is an annoyance.

There is NO other estimation/ takeoff tool that lacks this functionality. Additionally, there are no keyboard shortcuts (... in 2019).

Overall ProEst has been great, easy to learn and use, and can still have many more options for customization.

Proest has a inbuilt database and also you can create your own database  so that  you can use this again and again for your estimation in one click. This software is very friendly and  easy to use.

Its not compatible with accounting software and everyday you will find some problem with print, page setup and adding line items to the proposal.

The fact that it is easy to customize the take-off settings and get a clear measuring tool when needed.

What else I don't like is that it doesn't integrate with other software except accounting. So we are forced to use it as a CRM.

Difficult when bid hour is approaching. Bid Day was one of the features that pushed us toward ProEst.

Was a little tough to learn. Pricing is a little expensive.

Of more concern is that the system fails in basic auditing and compliance. Staff were able to delete documents and evidence from the system without the Compliance Director being informed.

It requires more trainings and overall feedback from our users is that it is hard to work with it when it is not on daily basis.

Likewise with Invoicing. Its cut time down for paperwork, increased efficiency and once your up and running is easy to use.

All our contract information can be kept in one place, and is easily accessed from site by Managers. Also quick and easy for sharing files with clients and sending our Purchase Orders to Suppliers.
