For the most part, Spectrum is a user friendly program. A/P and A/R are great. I would like to see some changes made to the subcontractor billing and purchase order module. We are currently using version 13.1 and have had Spectrum for 12 years. I can say, Dexter and Chaney has the best support team around.

Great program. So far it can handle anything we need it to. I recently had a chance to view the new version and loved it. I really like the Smartphone and Tablet options. The only issue we have with the system is the lack of a barcode scanning feature.

I like a software system that has good customer service. Dexter & Chaney Spectrum has that great customer support base when you need it. Always friendly and willing to go the extra step to help with any issue at hand.

Controller with large construction company using D&C Spectrum

Pros

The vendor makes upgrades fairly quickly and is mostly attentive to the community using the software.

Cons

There is a steep learning curve and many of the operations are not intuitive to use.

No brainpower required to use and it is easy to work.

As i think the rotating schedule is not consistent. If consistent , it is better
