Pros

CiviMail does an excellent job with bounce and subscription management, but it's not as user friendly as a service like MailChimp or Constant Contact for HTML mail composition.
I would recommend with reserve. Still very useful, if you do not have the budget to opt for better services.
CiviCase brings case management into to application and CiviVolunteer helps you keep track of the eager beavers who want to help your cause.

Pros

The staff has been amazing and extremely helpful. They make you feel like you are there only customer and every issue large or small is handled and resolved promptly.
The technical support is fantastic. If you can dream up the function and the work flow, the development team can build it.
Excellent communication and extremely responsive tech support.

Cons

I have had some trouble using the scheduled mailings feature. Once the mailing didn't go out at all.
It's built on soon-to-be deprecated software, so investing in its deployment might be a little risky.
Sadly lacking documentation on creating extensions.

Cons

Initially, I was a little confused with the new software. Customer support was able to work me through some problems I was having and simplified things.
We have missing addresses/Block and Lots in the public map database they use. Missing properties must be added individually, which is tedious.
We were able to see violations on the buyer's properties, overlaying zoning and redevelopment areas on the map, and even click through to google street view.
