Non-existent support. Sales team pretends like they have no obligation to deliver on promises. This product is NOT intended for business use. It's a liability to Zendesk.
I used this product when it was Base CRM. It was a great crm, no fluff, just basic CRM features that worked really well.
Zendesk's acquisition of this product was a disaster! They've got a bunch of bugs with bringing it into their ecosystem. It took almost a month to provision our account. Yes... we paid for a month of "we'll get it working soon, I promise!" Since then, in the past 6 months, our account has just disappeared as if we cancelled it (we paid for the year already). No login, no access to information, and no support. Support from Zendesk takes a few days per response. Getting back into our account last time took over a week. Right now, we're locked out of our CRM. It's costing us tons of money!

We liked Base because it does not cost too much and it is good with history. It also plugs with dropbox which is a good feature.

Great CRM... Highly recommended!!!
This CRM was easy to set up and makes it easier to communicate with my team and keep them updated on the status of our clients.
I would like the data fields to be more customizable. I would also like to have multiple ways to search for a lead in the CRM.

Full featured CRM for a fraction of the cost
I found base to be extremely easy to use. It had all the essential features of a SALES focused CRM. We do a lot of direct mail marketing so it was important that we had a system that allowed us to easily maintain various contact list and tag them appropriately
Although it is a Sales focused CRM i would at least like to see the ability to group leads or contacts into campaigns in the future. Right now we accomplishing this by simply adding tags.

Throughout my professional tenure I've not only written code but have had the experience of collaborating with EVERY SINGLE professional CRM applications on the market. My conclusion, Base CRM is THE answer to streamlining your sales & marketing processes and cycle.
SIMPLICITY SELLS! This is the genius behind Base CRM.

Great product. Simply CRM for any small and large company.
I love Base and have used them for years! They have a very solid web and mobile application that does exactly what you need it to do, track sales! Its super easy and one that I was drawn to early in my sales career because it was so easy to get started.
I would love the ability to test more of their newer apps on a trial basis. Right now it is invite only.

Base CRM have a decent entry level (price and proposition) point that allows most small businesses get started with CRM. The fact that it also includes mobile app support (across iOS, Android and Windows) is commendable also.
I found the sync of contacts with the system and the plugins it uses caused a bit of my mess in my contacts. It was a minor gripe but something that over time became more tedious.

Base CRM helps managing our team with deals within the Pipelines. It always motivates the team when they say the prospects moving within the Pipeline in the right direction. Its a helpful CRM for sales people and help them define their activities.
the mobile view need more attention to improve the activities management. The reporting of visual elements can be improved as well.

I actually implemented Base CRM for a client of mine, they are a smaller firm with 10 employees but they love it and they can't function without. I would definitely recommend Base as a robust online based CRM with the great mobile app.

The real time data synch is efficient and easy to use. I would recommend it for all companies looking for a simple and easy to use solution.

There are many CRM options out there. I should have read more online reviews before proceeding. Caution.
The sales process is great - you'll feel very welcomed. Their follow-up is consistent and they do a great job showcasing the full-featured product.
Bait and Switch - the demo vs. the paid product is VERY different. You will learn that (all) reporting is extra , all goal setting is extra , and most CRM functions are extra . However, all of those functions are shown in the demo!

The simplicity of Base help us move from clunky Excel/Word tracking systems into a straightforward CRM system with ease and at a relatively low expense. This was the first CRM we used when we were just ramping up our sales efforts for our start-up company.
At the time, Base served our needs very well, so I don't have a "like least" comment.

Base CRM has been helpful for my sales team to manage the prospects. It helps the team to be accountable and they understand the status of the prospects and the next step to perform with them.
Deals can be created with the prospects and the tasks can be assigned to the sales team via this CRM. Helps with visual statistics.

Base CRM is a customer relation mangement tool with a low price tag and high return. Check it out.
I bought this in the iTunes App store a few years ago and remember it was a really good app. The only issue is its for the truly organized. I realize that I was not the type of salesman for this app. This app is for a salesman who truly sets appointments and needs to care about and follow up with his/her leads. Zendesk has allowed us to keep track of who is doing what on the team, so that we can avoid double booking or stepping on toes.
Zendesk Sell is easy to use, pushes notifications where needed, and is great for small teams.
There can be frustrating roadblocks, such as when there are similar names or the CRM gets confused, however this can usually be smoothed out fairly quickly.

Been using it since it came out as a beta months ago, It integrates very easily with Zendesk support ticketing and has all features as any other CRM. You can easily integrate with Pandadoc and send agreements. You can send texts, emails and calls from the CRM very easily and track agents productivity.
At first it didnt have all the features i needed and support when it was a beta but they fixed all that with time.

Simple CRM, really nice app. Enjoyed using it while I did, just found a less cost solution that did what I needed.
I really liked the contact management and deals management. The reporting was amazing and it was very customizable. The integrated voice option was very nice too. UX design was great too.
I wasn't in love with switching between screens all day long. It also did have a learning curve and my employees didn't like it. Lastly, it was more money than I was looking to spend per seat.

We didn't want our entry level sales reps to have access to the information for CEO's and other C-level contacts. Our old CRM didn't let us assign access. Only what people could change within a contact.
We needed to find a CRM that would allow us to assign access at different levels. Other CRM's had fallen short for this.
It's a little more expensive than I like if you want to use all the features.

This is a decent starter sales CRM for the price, but if you plan on expanding your organization, you will likely need something more scalable.
The price was initially a major selling point. We chose Base, which did offer quite a bit and allowed integration with DropBox. The simplicity was great and easy to understand.
Ultimately, this couldn't meet our needs. We were not able to customize or integrate with a number of third-party-apps that are essential to our business, and we were met with resistance from customer service when attempting to upgrade. We also experienced quite a few issues with the integrations we could perform.

Unlike Salesforce, Base CRM was created in the cloud. It is a great sales and client communication tool. The best feature is the mobile app for Android that integrates with your text messaging.
Base CRM is a bit more pricey than its competitors. Additionally, you have to pay for each employee that uses it as compared to paying for a group of individuals to have access.

The layout is simple and straightforward. Pretty clear, and, aesthetically speaking, well done! Really enjoyed working with the team to get Base CRM implemented. Super helpful customer success manager + engineer!
There were certain contingencies we required upon acquisition and they were promised to be done within six weeks. That never happened. There were several other aspects that we needed, were promised, and subsequently never delivered (we've had Base for over 9 months to date). For data import it was fairly easy, but record sanitization was not simple. The way duplicates were (and were not) matched were really difficult to the point where we built out own system outside of the CRM to sanitize.

Terrible. When it was BASE CRM the customer service was flawless now since zendesk took over there is little to no support. We dont even have a number to call.
