Big Contacts is an all around great CRM and Sales tool

This is a great CRM software that is very affordable.

Pros

It is very user friendly and easy to import and export contacts.

Cons

It needs to be able to check for duplicate contacts and have a way to merge the contacts into one.

The benefits are the ease of use and the price; however, given some of the difficulties with the program, we would have went with another CRM.

Pros

They have email templates, but we don't use them. Social media updates are useful.

BigContacts is a very easy-to-use system for keeping track of your calendar and contacts.

Pros

Easy to import data from previous database (ACT V6).

Cons

The letter-writing and label-generation functionality is poor to non-existent, but it's easy to work around these deficiencies using the excellent tools for exporting to Excel, then using Microsoft mail-merge.

Great customizable CRM

I work for a local franchise of an International Real Estate Brokerage, and I use the system as a hybrid CRM/ATS. It's great because there is currently nothing on the market that is designed specifically for what I use, and BigContacts lets me completely customize the system to meet my needs.

A silly gripe...but I need to be able to copy & paste the client data into another software application.

Good contact data base

I would go with BigContacts. They have served me well.

Pros

I really like using BigContacts for my database. It's great for keeping track of client activity and generating mailing lists.

Cons

No App for Blackberry phones. I don't want an I-Phone because AT&T's phone service is beyond unacceptable where I live and work. They have the worst phone coverage of any service in Northern California.

Cons

I currently don't use big contacts but when I did I thought the restrictions on how many contacts I can have were low and some of the integrations into other platforms were lacking.

So far the better CRM

easier than other CRM Ive used, the pricing is reasonable, but some things still needs alot of improvement, man I cant believe no one out their has something simple to use and actually works!!!

Pros

Bigcontacts seems to be the easier one to pull reports, the contacts info has all the email,tasks,notes right in one place making it easy for everyone to review what is going on with each customer.

Cons

We have a retail business, the marketing portion of bigcontacts lacks I was under that impression when I sing up I can send out thank you cards, and email follow ups but I had to sign up for vertical response so I have to double enter contact info to do all that.....pretty lame, Ive ask tech support about the integration but after after several emails Ive never got a straight response only that they are working with a vendor.

Overall this is a great product for our small business. It is easy for new users to learn and has capabilities that we use frequently.

Pros

Big Contacts is a user friendly CRM. The two features I find the most helpful are: 1) the ability to create automated tasks and emails based on changes in status; 2) The ability to create email templates.

Cons

Although searching the database is possible in at least two different ways, I would find a more accessible search helpful.

It's a tough balance to create a CRM that's easy to use yet highly customizable. BC has hit a nice balance.

Pros

Plug n play, mostly. Visually pleasing & understandable. EXCELLENT support! These folks get back to me immediately with help.

Cons

It's great that files can be stored in each client record. But I don't like having to download them in order to view them. I would like to be able to open them online. Also, it may be because I'm ignorant but it doesn't seem like I can do "or" searches.
