Bernie: Where we landed here was the appointments tab, and this is really home base for a lot of our merchants. This is showing you the calendar, and I have this set up by service provider here.
Jimmy: These be our employees in each one of these columns?
Bernie: Mhmm. We also have a room's view as well, and the merchant has the ability to customize this calendar view for whatever best suits their day today. I can always expand and contract these column widths as well as the time zoom, just to make it a little easier on the eyes. As you can see, I have quite a few service providers locked in schedule today.
Jimmy: Underneath appointments, have several sub menus there. Can you walk me through those and maybe end up creating an appointment and seeing all the features that are within that process?
Bernie: Absolutely. This gray bar we have under appointments is just like a sub nav bar that's allowing us to easily navigate this appointments tab. This can also be found in the drop down. There are quite a few ways to get down from point A to point B. In Booker, we want to make it as easy as possible. You can easily find an appointment here. This is going to bring out all the appointments I have in the book as well as the ability for me to organize and sort so I can filter through and find something. I can always do that by just toggling here between different days in the month, as well for my calendar interface on the left side. To create a new appointment, I also can go right through this window, creating an appointment this way, but what I think is a little bit easier is just clicking into the book. I get a phone call, we'll say I'm at the front desk scheduling this appointment. Someone's requesting at 10 o'clock. I'm going to book this for Sydney. I just click on that open time. I select the service, and I can click or just start typing, select that aromatherapy massage. I start logging in the customer's name. It's coming in for that appointment once I get the three characters. It's searching my character database so I can just click a name, load their profile information, and the appointments in the books. It's a really easy way for them to schedule.
Jimmy: How can we adjust the length of the appointment?
Bernie: It's really easy to adjust the length of the appointment here. I can just simply click and drag. I can also set this up so that every time I change an appointment or lengthen that service, I can also update the price if I need to.
