Pros

Pros

I really liked that it was easy to navigate and easy to find what I need for my patients. I like that you have to enter in certain information in order to move forward.
Epic is by far the best EMR out there, but really that is not saying much. It does have some great functionality, and is user friendly after awhile.
There is also an inpatient version that my institution will be great for my institution when implement as there will be seamless uniformity between outpatient and inpatient.

Cons

Cons

It can be difficult to change an order and often I will need to cancel an order and replace it. It's difficult to view scanned media as it will close when you try to compare it to charted data.
This can be confusing from a training and operations perspective (e.g. "I was told to do it differently," "My provider prefers it a different way").
Too many icons/tabs on the page, and it is difficult to navigate. Call center messages under In-Basket messages; very difficult to see who is writing what in a chronological order.
