Pros

Overall, we have been extremely satisfied and find that checkfront has more benefits than cons, but it would be nice if the cons could be improved.
It has a nice user interface for both front and back end users, good payment processing, decent reporting, and automated emails. They also have a nice little website builder if you are needing that.
I love that our clients get to book their charters online. The convenience of knowing that their card information is secure is a great comfort to us.

Pros

Since the beginning, while having a trial version, they won me over with their courteous, polite, professional, wonderful customer service.
I like the extensive Knowledge base, and the opportunity to learn as much we want to. I like the willingness the company has to implement new ideas into the software.
I love that I can create a website and be able to share what we love most about our property. The settings are very nice and the actual software provides user easy access.

Cons

Monthly cost is quite high- we are a very small business and no discounts available and packages unable to be tailored to our needs so we are paying for things we do not require.
We save time and money by no longer worrying about double bookings and the system sends reminder emails to guests which has cut down on peopke thinking they booked other dates.
It can be hard to navigate at first, and there is no phone support for the basic plan which can be tough if you are someone who prefers live conversation vs email.

Cons

And worst of all, it is a PAIN to actually every get paid. I have been trying to get paid for 6 MONTHS and haven't actually received a cent for the vacation rental that was booked.
The lack of upfront explanation about what happens when you integrate Airbnb. If you already have an Airbnb account, it will change your settings; no one told me about that.
Delay in getting answers from support team due to time difference has been a problem.

I have being using Checkfront for almots 5 years, and overall it answers my needs

I can manage remotly my short term rental buisness

Pros

Checkfront is helping me to manage a small holiday resort and it's like a minivan, not really attractive but efficient. You can include some add ons that makes it even more performant. Good support and friendly communication

Cons

A bit clunky and the front side, better than others but not up to date compare to Lodgify. Rate management can be a pain and not yet compatible with Zappier.
