Overall Checkfront has been a lifesaver to our business. Before we implemented our online booking, we were spending up to 20 hours a week chasing down phone calls, answering calls and physically running deposits through our POS.  Now we are able to focus more on the customer experience.

They failed to quickly appreciate my needs and advise me as to whether I could use the system. I wasted a lot of time trying to make it work, after which they finally advised me to try another system... I wasn't trying to do anything complex. Any system worth its salt, beyond an appointment management system, should be able to handle my needs. I'm sure if you only ant to operate single day activities without much in the way of resource management, then Checkfrotn will do an OK job.

I have been very impressed that Checkfront has been able to manage all aspects of our reservation system (online booking, calendar, inventory, waiver forms and integration with our POS). We were able to switch from a paper/whiteboard whiteboard model to completely digital this year thanks to our Checkfront implementation and it has been a game changer.  Support has been very good and makes all the difference with configuration questions and minor system issues.  

Comprehensive system with good support

We save time and money by no longer worrying about double bookings and the system sends reminder emails to guests which has cut down on peopke thinking they booked other dates. We even use it for restaurant reservations. Customer service is very personable and always helpful. Overall a great product that has freed up a lot of our time so we can focus on other aspects of the business.

Great service for a medium sized business

Overall checkfront is a good program that also offers help when needed. With fixes to above issues we believe checkfront would be one to reckon with compared to other programs.

Good product great solution 

I used Checkfront for one month during the free trial period available.  The system is not very intuitive and seems a little disorganized.  It wasn't robust enough to meet the needs of by business so I couldn't move forward with it.  If you don't have complicated offerings or a high volume of offerings then it should work fine.

Didn't Quite Meet My Needs

Thanks for the feedback Colby.  There have been some improvements specifically in how items are configured in the system to make it easier to setup, specifically for new users of the system.  It appears you are still without a booking system, so if you'd like to give it another try we'd be happy to give you a few months for free to see if it's a fit.
