I consider it as a platform because of it's flexible and rich API that allows you to customize any component.

Pros

- Flexible and powerful API w/ great documentation

Cons

(But not less expensive than Salesforce and like platforms) - No native mobile apps yet.

Most important to us was that we have a flexible CRM with a lot of Search Combinations where we can enter the different stages of our clients.

Pros

- Good Customer Support - API - Fast Interface - Lots of Sarch Option and Automatic Data Entry - VOIP Phone integration

Cons

- No Mobile App yet - Automatic Removal of Duplicates on Entry could be easier.

Simple & powerful

We tried countless SaaS CRM tools, and most are stuck in the old ways of doing lots of data entry or remembering to BCC on every email you send.

Pros

- Integrated email - Integrated calling - Simple, powerful list building - Easy API for integrations - Zapier integration

Cons

- Needs a mobile app - Should be able to make/receive calls on the mobile app - Wish more 3rd party tools integrated directly with Close.io

Pros

-Calling system is great -Fast customer Service.

Cons

No way to easily setup parent and child companies - Limited field for opportunities -Smartviews are difficult to use

After testing other CRMs, I was blown away by Close.io's clean, easy-to-use interface, communication tracking, and detailed reporting features.

Will you marry me?

I LOVE this solution. It's extremely flexible which is crucial for our company of 80. With our HQ in Europe, and a sales team poised to expand rapidly worldwide, we needed the ability to "speak" to each other by having access to all leads in the system and their history. Right now we are piloting Close.io here in the U.S. with a couple of sales people also trying it in Europe. We integrated our incoming leads from our system into close.io via Zapier and all communication via Gmail. It was a snap! Also, the support team can CC or BCC close.io on crucial matters via the ticket system and sales can now see all important transactions in one place. Just in a few short months Sales productivity has changed dramatically, and basically, I'm a happier person, which is good for everyone!

Pros

Nice upgrade with the html in the email function!

Cons

Fix the Tasks function to be more user friendly. allow us the hide the custom fields so we don't need to scroll through them all when assigning data.

Created by a team that produce amazing content Simple and efficient design Nice feature to create smart views Good integration with emails VOIP phone call in one click !

Cons

(No need for a native mobile app but managing contacts in 2 places is an issue).

The result is a CRM system that is up to date and gets used.

Cons

I'd like prettier reporting. The reporting screen basically counts and filters to give a table of results.

Great Software!

This helps me give them the one-on-one feeling they want. The reminders and events that I set to help me contact clients at appropriate times that really helps me grow my business.

Pros

Was able to import all my customers with a few clicks.

Cons

That being said, I don't think that is a common feature in CRM's so I'm not 100% sure if I can call it a negative.

Having used complex CRM systems that don't integrate with phone/email/web, Close is refreshing in it's speed, integration and intuitive user interface.

Pros

Price, customer support, intuitive user interface and simplicity of use, most effective CRM system I have seen that doesn't drain sales-personnel time.

Cons

Voice of customers could be a future feature; price is still expensive for pre-revenue and lean startups.

Since all calls and emails go through the system, the reporting is real-time and automatic for salespeople.

Pros

Automated tracking, in-app calling, in-app email, bulk email, filtering, reporting, real-time dashboard.

Cons

Higher cost per seat than some others (but obviously well worth it for me, and most others).

Customer service has also been really great; within just a few days of starting the free trial I was directly contacted by one of their team members who was happy to answer any questions. The automatic email integration is fantastic; it syncs instantly with my Gmail account so it is easy to switch back-and-forth without missing any information.

Pros

- Automatic email integration - Advanced lead search - Ability to set 'status' on leads - Awesome and personal customer service - Startup discount - Bulk email templates

Cons

- Wish you could select, specific individual leads for bulk email and bulk editing (instead of generating lists from a common status or other label)

Once you catch the vision for Close.io, it doubles your productivity in sales.

Pros

No data entry means that it's reading your emails and syncing the CRM with the activity. You can also call through their phone number and it logs your phone calls to the CRM.

Cons

I don't think of Close.io as having data integration with other services on a first class level.

Best sales platform I've ever used

I used to represent one of the top sales platforms available. This is better. This is so much better than by a minute and a half into their intro video I knew that I would buy. They solve every pain I was experiencing with tools before them.

Pros

Integrated Voip, integrated email, automated reminders...basically every cool feature I didn't even realize I wanted, they've got it.

Cons

Need some better integrations with email marketing platforms.

Great if you have the patience and developments resources to help you customize everything. API is good, but for most non-enterprise organizations, who has time to be messing with APIs?

Cons

Be prepared to ask developers to leverage the API and sync into some other tool. - No matter what they may sell you, it's a CRM best used with small sales teams.

Precisely what we were looking for

Simple and easy to use, with some sensational features (in-build bulk email, recoding contacts, searching, automatic logging)

Pros

The automation of recoding activity is the best thing about this product - it is all about reducing time and reducing clicks.

Cons

There are a few feature still missing - like adding a task not attached to a contact and also the recoding of customer support conversations (e.g. through a Live Chat App)

Once you decide that it's worth exploring, my recommendation is to figure out how much you'll be paying in annual costs vs. a custom CRM implementation.

Easy integration and superb service

We use close.io for our customer facing sales processes, started out with two sales agents and now scaled up to more than 40 while constantly adding features around close.io using their API. Close.io was easy to integrate into our processes for it is simple enough and yet let's you configure/adapt just as much as it makes sense in an early startup phase.
