One of the worst POS system you can think about. In addition to their nasty customer service, the system lacks to basic features that any POS system should have. The way that they advertise their ability to track inventory is misleading and I would say completely lay. If you are using Clover to keep track of you inventory, you will lose time working with the tedious tasks that cost way more than you would loss someone was shoplifting you daily. And you have to buy their tablet for around $1,500.00 or you need to be locked to 3 years contract that you can't get around it. and also you need to pay for external app in order to get any feature you may think about. Even the basic services that are built in with clover, are not free ; like creating coupon discount. I don't recommend clover to any small bushiness owner.

Zero. Being bombarded with negative reviews from customers due to ongoing issues with refunds
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I have had customers harassing me regarding refunds that were promised WEEKS ago. I have called numerous times and it's always a different excuse... "we need more internal information", "we have no record of your call" - despite having reference numbers and names of each person I spoke to. I have paid an arm and a leg for my store system and in monthly fees. I regret it entirely. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Awful customer service. Regularly increase prices, sign you into new lease periods without your knowledge. Advised to send an email to give 30 days notice, only to be told they need a signature. They want £480 in terminal lease costs despite my lease finishing in July 2023 (I signed an 18 month lease in February 2022) Worst card service provider I have used in 15 years of business. Next day terminal delivery never happens, quality of terminal is awful (continually breaks). I've just read other comments and I'm not alone. Avoid this company at all costs.

over all very pleased!!!!!!! except the updating part!!! very stressful !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! every year!! like taking a major exam!! each year they ask for updates and each year it is more technical, and extreme even with some savy computer people like applying for a bar exam to be a lawyer!!

Highly recommended as an alternative to Square for business on the go!
My business switched to Clover Go for payment processing after Square kicked us to the curb because they decided, with no warning or notice, that they would not let certain law practices use the service. We had to scramble and locate a new program for payment processing needs. Clover stepped up and we have used them ever since. We can take all forms of credit card payments using Clover. Their rates are reasonable and the funds are posted within a couple of days. We are very pleased!
We love Clover and have nothing bad to say about it.

The reality is Clover Has one of the higher processing rates out of a huge pool of processing systems. Unfortunately, I thought it was a good idea when I started to process credit cards. Every statement I received I couldn't believe how much I was paying in fees. At least I had the common sense to call and get price quotes from other businesses. I am saving THOUSANDS a year after switching. It seems your paying a premium for a brand, nothing they offer is unusual for a processing system. Most other companies are comparable and have a better processing fee. The processing company I went with was Central Payment (thier customer service will work with you too!)
Easy to set up and integrate, fast processing speed, more apps than you will ever use. Unfortunately, that's all the good that comes out of this system
POOR customer service, Locked in for years (even if your company closes), THEY ARE NOT COST EFFECTIVE!

Clover is simple to manage, from adding new products to new users, the process is simple and straightforward. The user interface is clear and well formatted, Clover is a very professional looking product. Clover can provide us with reporting data, as a business this is ideal. As an administrator of the system, the home page allows me to access everything easily. From reporting and employees as mentioned earlier, to transactions, everything is easy to manage. Moving on from the software. The Clover hardware is of the highlight quality, from the Clover mini to the printers.
As far as I'm aware, in the Employee setup once an employee has been created, the full name cannot be altered, only the nickname. It would be nice to update employees names.

none, although my bookkeeper is getting overtime dealing with their poor service.
When a large table of customers want to divide their check the waitress can utilize the other terminals to run credit cards at the same time. The wait can run 3, while the manager on another terminal can run 3, while the bartender (who is also a manager) can run 3. That would be 9, or more, cards run at the speed of 3 transactions.
System goes off line quite often, which means you have to take the chance a credit card is regected. We rarely have credit cards regected except when we take cards during the "off line" times. Clover blames the business for being offline, but when questioned and pushed they cave and admit that they were "offline" due to updating. Clover Sucks

The Mini Clover helped me do my job more efficiently allowing me to spend my time concentrating on other tasks that needed to be done. I do not have any complaints about this software and would recommend it to anyone that does credit card processing.
The Mini Clover was very user friendly and processed our credit card transactions fast and efficiently.
There was not one thing that I did not like about the Mini Clover. I loved the product and would use it again without question!

It is really stylish and cool to have a wireless POS machine. Customers comment all the time of it being very modern - yet everyone can intuitively use it b/c its feels like any android tablet Functions well - , nice on board camera , prints quickly takes payments quickly and allows you to add tons of helpful apps that i did't even know I needed
The battery life and Charger stand - I've had to replace it twice b/c the charger was not working and the corded back up doesn't really work - the rep was surprised we got it to work at all in a pinch. Charger needs to be more reliable and there needs to be a back up wired version that can be substituted if the wifi goes done

Satisfied. Its hard to change when we get so many calls from other vendors.
Clover is really easy to use and once its setup, its easy to maintain. Working in a restaurant, we need a system that we can train employees quickly.
Most software companies do not understand the importance of data setup and system configuration. We need a better way to report on our menu items. If the onboarding team gave us better guidance then we would have experienced less issues with reporting on our data.

I changed banks and want to change new bank account information on my Clover account so that Chase will accept payments. Two hours of going in circles led to nowhere. I asked to speak with a manager and perhaps do a screen share. Deaf ears. I was told that the 'manager' will tell me the same thing. Finally she said what I needed from her will take several hours for her to accomplish. We ended the call, with the knowledge that I probably have to change companies.
The sales person from more than a year ago was wonderful and flexible. It was because of him that I chose Clover.
Their outsourced and non US based support centers for the most part were difficult to work with AND extremely difficult to understand. While English is not their native language, knowing they have to offer support and guidance to those of us who are most miss the mark entirely.

Pretty happy with the system. Though I wish I could change banks with my current system.
Coming from old technology and little tech skills, I was able to learn the basics pretty quickly. I continue to learn new things when I have time to play with the system.
It is hard to go through all the loops to get to support.

The system is very easy to use and does not require special skills or training. The online dashboard offers good reports.
Not very advanced You must pay extra for advanced functionalities and apps The clover station is a real piece of garbage. I have spent a ton of money to own one then it broke. The is no repair parts out there to get it fix. When I called clover, their only solution was to buy another one. For the price they make customers pay, these devices should be built to last. Mine barely worked for 2 years and the screen digitizer started malfunctioning.

Overall I love Clover, their payment processing rates are so low compared to other POS systems. I also love that their customer service help me solve my problems fast and I don't have to wait on the line!
I like that Clover offers to take payment online from my customers and that they allow me to send invoices to my customers so they can pay online without storing their card information.
I don't like that I can't track my invoices sent and send reminders to my customers based on the same invoice; I have to send a completely new invoice if they lose it. I also don't like that I can only send invoices via mail; it would help if I could send invoices via text too.

clover mini, didnt get/want any software.. no subscription / simple.. credit card processing only.. love it.. website dosnt really explain how simple and easy this can be.. had 2 years approx.., would get the exact same thing again.. approx 1 million a year goes through it..

Ease of Use. Fast and secure credit/debit transactions.
Touch screen is great with the home screen with all my options. I never have to search to perform my tasks. Being able to pull up the information on my laptop when I am not at the store is wonderful to check on sales for that day. Customer service is one touch away so you don't have to wait on hold on the telephone.
I would like the software to have a training mode in order to train new employees on how to use. Even though it is super easy to use, it would be helpful to at least be able to show the new employees what to do and how to do it without actual customers waiting there while there transaction is being processed by a new person still in training.

Exasperated; can't get help so can't use their product and meanwhile they continue to draw money out of our business account. We continue to receive another business owner's personal account information, daily. I wonder who is receiving ours? NO ONE HAS ATTEMPTED TO CALL ME BACK OR CONTACT ME BY EMAIL TO HELP RESOLVE THIS MATTER! Unbelievable. I on the other hand have lost count of how many contact attempts I have made. I cannot fairly rate the features that Clover provides because we cannot use the service.
This product was chosen (forced on us) by a software we use for our business. This week I'm making the decision whether or not to abandon the software entirely because of this, very frustrating and has cost us $$ unfairly
Customer service is poor. If you find yourself in a situation like we are in, you will be in a panic and desperate to get help and you will get crickets, nothing. Or, you will get people who have no idea how to fix the problem, put you on hold, tell you to call back another day, meanwhile your business suffers. Weeks will pass and you continue to receive another business owner's daily closings and personal account information.

Absolutely terrible. They will tell you anything to get your business but then when there’s a problem, they are nowhere to be found. Do not do business with these guys if you are in the southwest, or California. Trust me. Don’t make them the same mistake I did.
I like the ability to send credit card invoices directly to clients that are encrypted.
These guys cannot be trusted. My dollar volume is close to $1 million a year and my average sale was between $2500 and $5000. I do tax consulting. When Clover suspects anything on your account, they will hold your money. They will also take their fees out of your account without paying you. I have had $90,000 on hold for Eight days so far. Clover is unresponsive, they don’t give me a timeframe of what’s happening, or anybody to talk to. My rep is in Arizona, and California, and I would avoid her like the plague.

Absolutely awful the lease payments are extraordinary and the services is minimally passable at best, not worth the exorbitant cost. Cant switch because the buy out is 10,000.00 for something that costs 2000.00 at most. 3 Clover Minis ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!

The features are not in tune for a large restaurant with many employees, or any restaurant with waitstaff. The server can accidentally void a transaction easily and if you want to end that buy a feature. Server can work without clocking in want to stop that buy a Feature.
