Clover is very easy to use, doesn't take much space and it makes paying for merchandise and services fast and easy.
It's very easy to use, and I love how it accepts so many kinds of credit cards and forms of payments!
I don't like how sometimes it will take a few tries to read a card, which can make customers desperate and annoyed.

Honestly the best POS system I have used and I have used many in different establishments within hospitality. Clover has been the most reliable and consistent, and not to mention the most versatile and customizable. Oh and the POS machines look aesthetically pleasing too!
Incredibly easy to navigate and simple interface. Love how Clover has the ability to do everything as a restaurant POS including placing orders, taking payments, integrating a reservation/waitlist option, and even a camera option, which allows for digital QR codes/gift cards to be purchased or applied as payments towards order.
In my 2+ years of using Clover, I haven't identified any cons. The only minor issue I have noticed it connectivity issues on occasion but that is expected with POS systems and also may not be specifically related to Clover.

We had dinosaur service prior to the Clover Mini, at least half of the time you would have to go online and key everything in because the reader didn't work. Clover feels and looks and acts like the rocket age!
We have a Clover mini in our offices. It is quite sharp looking, and sooooo intuitive to program for each office as well as use for check or charge, AND to research entries. It takes a little getting used to the icons, but they do make sense once you get used to it. Great instructions came with it for the set-up as well. Love it!!!
There is nothing I can think of that I do not like about this product, or that they could even improve upon! It is terrific!

Highly recommend. I’m a small business owner and this system was very easy to implement in my office.
This product is super simple to use. We use the Clover mini. With different people taking payments at different times of the day, it is really simple to track who took what payment. Each user gets a unique PIN that enables us to keep tract of who is doing what.
This isn’t even really a con because there is a solution to my problem, but the clover mini does not “remember” customers from day to day. We have repeat customers, so I would like it to remember the email they want their receipt sent to. I can download an app to take care of this, but I really wish it was native to the system.

So far so good. We've been using them since 2017.
All the information that I need is easy to see on the dashboard. Their devices look slick, modern, & hi-tech.
Their terminals are expensive. They no longer allow payment requests/invoicing for healthcare offices.

It was OK but there are better systems out on the market
It is a great system for a store location. It allows for tipping without our employees having to ask the customer if they wish to leave a tip.
I found it really difficult to use outside of our store location. We do specialty shows where we sell merchandise and if we didn't have a wifi connection a lot of times we could not get the payment to go through.

none, would strongly advice against any partnership with clover as its terrible
Long story short I was promised these devices would accept a particular gift card which my restaurant used in the past which they were never able to get working despite that promise. I was told the range of the devices were great which within our small restaurant they kept dropping. One device also wouldn’t charge and when I called the support line was placed on hold for an hour and a half to which was then disconnected and no call back was made despite have my number, this is just a couple a issues we had in the one shift they were used, the list could go on and on. We used these devices literally once and since have been trying to return them. It’s been 7weeks and I can’t seem to get anyone to take the machines back from clover from paylidify or first data I've reached out to as many outlets as humanly possible. They are a leased device so I’ve been charged to have them sitting and collecting dust. I’ve sent 17email 27phone calls to the 1888 number 14 calls to the rep who signed us up 8 text messages with that person as well. I’ve now spoken with 11 different people giving me 11 different answers on returning them as to which I’ve jumped thru every hoop and have done all that was asked and still have the units. I’ve been promised 6 times boxes were coming for me to return them which still have yet to come. So currently still have the units which have been used once! Customer support is beyond terrible in fact arguably the worst I have ever experienced in my life! Was promi

Can not recommend. If I save just one small business owner to get screwed I would be happy. This system is worthless. There are tons of systems you can use with any bank or with any application you want. Clover is just scam and gonne take your money for nothing
Looks nice but there are a lot of cheaper POS systems out there way better than Clover. System is limited
NEVER LEASE. Can not be used with different bank if you purchase from one bank If you change your bank (due to fees) whole your payment is gone to trash system fails very often. limited applications

It met our needs when we opened our business but quickly realized that trying to enhance the basic solution with kds, online delivery and ordering would be up to me to figure out.
Very easy to install and set up and creating the menu was simple but simple comes with basic functionality
Terrible customer support and hard to find anyone willing to help integrate ecosystem partners with our basic clover pos

One of the best and easiest P.O.S. systems to use and easy to train employees to use.
Number one it is easy to use. The reports you can pull are an easy way to keep track of sales with no guess work.
I do not have anything bad to say about Clover.

Clover is very easy to use and my staff enjoys using it.
The clover payment devices are touchscreen and very easy for our patients to use. You can accept a wide variety of payments including cash, credit, check, and apple pay. We use the clover mini as well as the clover flex.
Clover does not have a built-in recurring payment function that I am aware of. You need to add and app that comes with additional fees.

We are very satisfied with our experiences thus far with Clover. It is very user friend and if you get stuck on an issue, they have a great support team if you can't figure something out on your own!
Clover reports directly into our existing client management system which makes end of day reporting a breeze. We are able to make adjustments in one system and it reflects in both. Refunds are simple if one is necessary.
The only complaint I have is they have a separate device for "mobile" clover. The devices we have are mounted to the counter so we are unable to take it outside or into exam rooms to get payments directly from the customer.

Using the Clover terminal has been very benifical for our business, allowing us to easilly help customers as well as tracking who is doing what, at the same time building a database of clients for future use.
One of my favorite things about using Clover is the easy learning curve and intuitive gui. Being so easy to navigate makes helping customers very easy and transparent for the customer.
While this feature may be available on another model of their console, it would be nice if there was a fingerprint reader to unlock the terminal as we have multiple users who operate with two units. A fingerprint scanner would make it very quick and easy to change between users.

Unreliable. Frustrating. Worst customer service if any product I’ve ever owned.
Organization of items within inventory and reporting/closeout
Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. System is unreliable as they always have intermittent server issues. Offline frequently when everything else (jukebox. AMI. TVs. Internet electronic dartboards) are just fine

Overall Clover has been a good, reliable POS. It is a bit pricey and to purchase yourself out of the contract costs a lot too, but we don't plan on switching at this time
We use clover as our POS and we really enjoy it. There is a client facing part of the POS so if the want to leave a tip we don't need to ask them, creating an awkward situation. Clover makes it easy to complete the day's sales and close the batch. It also helps us track tips and commissions for each of our employees. It's an overall great system to have
I wish there wasn't a contract as we want the option to switch if we find something that better fits our needs

I love that it is really easy to install and use. Customer service is great! You can easily add products, prices, and have your inventory. You can add other features like customer rewards and ID verification in the case you sell alcohol on your establishment. The processing of cards it's fast. You can add several users and manage their roles and permissions. The best part it is that you can view and check all from online.
I haven't found any cons up to now, the only thing is it will be better if when using it the taxes from certain products will remove automatically. Instead of doing it manually.

It's been very good, and our Clover rep is very helpful.
I love being able to use the machine to locate past transactions and e-mail receipts/the dashboard is super user friendly as well
I honestly haven't ran into any problems so far other than I've noticed we are charged a higher merchant fee with a "manual" card entry versus a chip read.

I have only been with clover for less than 2 months and I have been charged severally for services I don't have and non of their agents can explain. I have been double-charged and it is very frustrating especially when I call and not a single person can tell me what I am being charged for. No supervisor to talk to and they just keep transferring from one agent to the other who just want to keep verifying me. I am beginning to think I'm being scammed. I am so sad and frustrated that I chose to go with Clover!
Nothing, the customer service, sales, technical and billing department make everything not worth it. Overbilling, bogus billing that cannot be explained by their staff. They even pretend not to have my bill in front of them.
Bogus billing, unexplained billing. It is very frustrating because there is no knowledgeable customer support. They all act like they are confused and also tell me their system is down. I was even told that 3rd parties are billing me and they cannot speak to it, even though my bank statement clearly shows that the payment was taken by DS Clover.

mediocre at best
ease of use-quick transactions when machine working correctly
no problem with software, the machine itself is troublesome. Have replaced machine each year we have had it. Heating to print paper goes out. Very expensive to replace and a GREAT hassle to get customer service to reply and actually request machine to be replaced

It has enabled my team to be streamlined which has kept costs down and productivity up!
This has been the best credit card processing solution I have ever used. Clover Go is very straight forward and does not operate in a shady manner like the rest of the industry. The software platform is easy and very useful.
I wish processing Credit Cards on a desktop for phone orders was an easier process. Other than that, this software is great!

The best part about this software is that the devices are wireless, during covid we were strictly curbside, no clients were allowed in the building and the clover was a lifesaver to be able to check people out outside. The clover website is easy to use and navigate and the handheld is very easy to use, I received no training on it and was able to figure it out.
I love this software, I cant think of anything different, I love that everyone has a different code so we can keep track if someone makes a mistake with charges.
