Simple enough to learn how to use on your own, but really powerful data and metrics can be leveraged out of Qualtrics. This application is the future of experience management - gives great insight into the current status of customer experiences.
Can be overwhelming initially when looking at all the different ways to present and visualize the data, especially if you're not a statistician by trade.

how intuitive it is - the layout of the interface, the interchangable options, the look and feel and preview functions. i can say as a first time user i had a survey built in no time.
not alot to say.. however the distribution side is one aspect - the goal is to distribute a survey to a sample however little is mentioned on how one can track one of the sample responses back to the central data store

It is easy to design the survey in the software and use both as an administrator of the survey and as a user. I have had no trouble using it, the data is easy viewed within Qualtrics and easily exported
Sometimes the computer is slow uploading the data onto the server. However, that is my only complaint other than that it is extremely easy to use.

The software is easy to use, it has a sophisticated look, and offers data analytics which is very helpful for me as the creator of the survey.
I wanted to have an option to include a side-by-side rating alongside a text box entry for each statement within my survey, but it seems that is not impossible based on my conversation with Support.

The software has great features (randomization, skip- and show logic, possibility to imbed videos,...). You will need an expert to explain to you how to use it, but after a few hours, you are good to go!
Without professional help it would be hard to figure out all the functions, so get someone to help or look online for How-Tos!

Overall my experience with qualitrics was positive although it involved a lot of patience on my part as a learner and then simultaneously as a user when going through the data.
As a research assistant, we were tasked with gaining market potential for a specific product and used Qualitrics to create a survey. The best feature of Qualitrics is in fact that it checks your survey when you've completed it as a means to revamp or perfect it.
Unfortunately learning how to use the software itself proved a bit more difficult because finicky and often took a lot of time to reorganize. Moreover, the data itself that the software provides was very tedious to go through as well.

It's very easy to use and it looks great. The fact that you can customize these surveys to get everything looking exactly like you want is a huge win.
I'm not the one who makes the decisions, but I hear that the cost is a little expensive. That's the only thing I can think of that would be a negative.

Qualtrics had created an extremely user-friendly way to create surveys thus revolutionizing the way we receive feedback internally and from the public.
My favorite thing is how easy it is to create a professional survey.
It takes a bit of time to learn how to use this, but the instructions are clear and once you learn it is is simple.

We used Qualtrics to obtain student feedback from a recent alumni event my department sponsored. We set up the survey in Qualtrics, so students could easily respond, and the analyzed data and ran reports for faculty to review and discuss.
Qualtrics nicely summarized a recent student feedback survey. The survey included a Likert type questions (on a scale of 1 to 10, what was the value of the event?) as well as open ended questions like (what did you like the most about the event?). Having both "live" customer support as well as the support website helped me get the reports I needed quickly and efficiently.
Nothing at this time. Qualtrics reported all the information we needed.

Overall all - a great product
Really easy to put together surveys to collect key customer insights. great reporting and ability to match branding
Even though it is a great product, I still find it hard to justify the costs based on the fact that there is other software out there that can do the same

Qualtrics allows you to quickly create surveys, so you can get the information you need. Whether you are trying to get anonymous information about what people think of a certain idea or just polling to see what idea is best liked, Qualtrics can help.
It takes a minute to get used to, but is overall a fairly simple process.

Monitor, respond, and improve every key moment along the customer journey. Very thorough and in-depth.
It can get complicated because there are so many layers and features. This software is good if you really want deep knowledge into your customer journey.

It looks professional and you can do so many different things with it. I love that you can customize it to whatever needs you may have.
It's a steep learning curve but once you get it you get it. When I first started using it I was not very confident but now I feel extremely comfortable using it.

This product is very customizable. It can be configured for any survey or questionaree.
It can have a high learning curve. While it has lots of features, settung up a basic survey can be tricky and it hgets more complex form there.

Excellent! I still use it. However, as I mentioned sometimes the links do not work.
I used this to perform various panels and surveys for my company. I liked this because it made this task so easy.
Sometimes it was reported to me that certain links weren't working correctly for some of the respondents.

I now have the perfect survey.
Customer support. They answer to every doubt that I could have, which made it a lot easier for me to work with the program.
Not very intuitive. I had to watch a lot of tutorials before I could start working, which made the beginning very slow.

I mostly like how quickly we were able to get surveys created and running. We were able to integrate our solution with Salesforce. This has been great.
I did not like the difficulty with customer support we faced when integrating with Salesforce. They were not so easy to work with.
