Customer Relationship Management

Strong customer relationships are the foundation of every successful business, from the smallest companies to the largest organizations. Daylite facilitates and fosters these relationships with a CRM platform that Mac-based businesses can use to manage client communication and offer top-notch customer service.

The more data you input into your CRM, the more useful it will become. Start by adding basic information about all of your contacts, and then help Daylite find the connections between people by adding details like which companies they work for, along with personal information like familial relationships and birth dates. From your CRM, you’ll be able to see a complete history of all client interactions, which means you can choose any client or company and immediately find all related emails, call notes, appointments, sales opportunities, and tasks.

Organizing Appointments

Daylite has developed an intuitive calendar application for busy people and teams. The Mac-based solution provides a way for users to stay on top of their schedules, regardless of whether they’re in or out of the office. Daylite’s scheduling solution connects people, emails, and notes to appointments. When you click on an appointment, you’ll find a record of all teammates, clients, notes, emails, projects, tasks, and documents related to that appointment.

You can also search through appointments in the opposite direction, by clicking on a team member or client, for example, and then viewing all upcoming appointments you have scheduled with that person.

Email Management

Daylite’s Mail Assistant allows users to take action on their emails right from Apple Mail. Daylite connects emails to relevant clients, leads, and team members. It also schedules meetings in Daylite’s calendar without requiring users to leave Apple Mail.

If you use Apple Mail for business, then getting started with Daylite’s Mail Assistant is a seamless process. Daylite will connect your incoming emails to clients with one click, and it will scan your database to suggest new contacts, projects, or sales opportunities you may want to connect your emails to. Being able to process emails from within Apple Mail cuts down on the time that you’ll spend dealing with the hassles of digital communication each day. Action your emails right away by creating linked tasks, either for yourself, or delegate it to a team member.

To-Do App

Businesses that use Daylite’s task management system can manage tasks from any connected Mac, iPhone, or iPad. Instead of writing down tasks on paper each day, Daylite uses digital to-do list functionality to keep a running tally of all tasks that need to be completed. It also provides context about those tasks, which helps users avoid having to dig through previous notes or emails before they can start working on new tasks or projects.

When you’re working on your Mac, iPhone, or iPad, just click on a task to find out more about what’s involved. For example, clicking on an item that says “Call John” might take you to a page showing notes from your last call with John, or transcripts of a recent meeting. You can also get a clear view of what you have coming up from your Home Screen, which is where Daylite displays daily to-do lists and appointments, as well as upcoming appointments and tasks.

Project Management

A solution like Daylite wouldn’t be complete without a project management module. Daylite’s impressive project management tool streamlines business processes and increases team productivity with shared tasks and various prioritization levels.

De-clutter your desk by putting more information into Daylite and keeping all project information saved in a centralized location. You can choose how to organize projects, with prioritized steps that ensure you won’t skip over any important tasks along the way. All project details are available in one place, and you can create your own unique pipelines for project tracking with your team.

VERY Responsive Support for a Great Product

I love the integrated functions of; Calendar, Task Management, Project Management, Sales Opportunity Tracking, Data collection and analysis, robust Contact Management.

Pros

Instead of managing multiple softwares (Outlook, Project, Sales Force, etc) I can follow pipelines, workflows, activity sets, and send merged mailings all from one portal, tracked to each person or company.

Cons

The only functionality I could ask for is to integrate an email app into Daylite which would make the process complete.

Do not underestimate the value of the Daylite Mail Integration - so much of my communications and lead acquisition is via referral and via email - getting data quickly and consistently into any CRM is essential to its adaption.

Oh, what a relief it is.... to finally make the jump to Daylite online!

Can't run our National non-profit without it.

Pros

Fr'instance, say, it's somebody I met at a Rotary Club in some state, but forgot the name, I simply do a search on any word or phrase (not necessarily a keyword) and Daylite finds the likely matches, whether in an email, or a note, or whatever.

Cons

While there are plenty of report formats, and capability to modify somewhat, this could be improved. The Access database (at least from what I recall years ago) had a neat way to select/order reports & forms, such as listing, say, customers by city, within county, within state, within region, etc.

Using Daylite (and replacing the rest)

Daylite allows me to keep everything in one place and basically use just one app for managing relationships as well as email (on my desktop), projects, tasks, my calendar and more.

Pros

I use it as a smart contact list, a project planner, a reminder system - and even very simple finance tracking.

Cons

The only 'wish list' item I have is for Daylite's mobile app to allow linking incoming emails with contacts and organizations.

Mail integration allows all emails to be linked to the relevant contact, company, project or opportunity in the main database, so that all team member can see project communications. we are starting to use Zaps to feed directly into the database from other applications.

Cons

Could do with greater automation in contact information capture, and the ability to link multiple email messages in Mail to the same person/project/company by selecting multiple messages in Mail (currently only possible to do this one message at a time).

I really like the Opportunities funnel - that I can keep top of mind who are all the potential clients and when I need to follow-up with them - and the way I can do a report of where they came from and how much business I won.

Pros

I love that I can access everything on my phone and my computer and it automatically syncs - that I can have all of my calendar appointments, tasks, clients, projects, opportunities and corresponding emails all in one place whenever I need it.

Cons

It doesn't play well with others and integrate easily with other software - particularly with other calendar systems.

All the attachments, client history, calls, and information is kept for me, so I can transition staff easily or update myself on activity.

Cons

I do wish that it had email open tracking, templates for emails, and suggested activity sets. As someone who may not be the most sales-inclined, I'd love a little more industry-leading guidance on what the best activities sets for networking, following up after a meeting, and such are.

A great benefit would be Social media integration (e.g. linkedIn) in order to automatically update contact information.

Absolutely love the product. Marketcircle continues to update and revise the software. Would love if the developers came out with more detailed specifics for the Real Estate.

Pros

Easy to use, easy to enter data, fairly intuitive.

Cons

It is difficult to create user reports, there are only a limited number of user defined text fields and date fields.
