Eventbrite has been the choice of service chosen between colleges for hosting (and attending) game development industry events. It simply works and is great to use.
The user-facing website and app offers a great user experience, making it a good choice for hosting an event through Eventbrite. It's great to be able to set up a free event if you have no entry fee.
It'd be nice to have a lower price option for events with a lower cost of entry.

I like using it to find upcoming events, and finding entertainment in my city.
I like Eventbrite because it lets me search my area for things to do on certain dates. I think it's great for when you're visiting a city and looking for something to do, that you can access this app and find events.
I've never offered an event myself, so I can't comment on things that don't work with this software.

allows on line canvassing, good for event scheduling
The support was below expectations, and it was difficult to get a refund when the event was cancelled.

My overall experience is that Eventbrite is a easy software to use that also has an app that makes it more accessible. I use it mainly to register for different events from trainings to entertainment events.
Eventbrite is easy to use. It has a variety of events to choose from depending on your preferences. I use it a lot to register for different trainings based on my career.
I have not found any cons with this software. Signing on is always easy and the registration process has been an easy experience for me.

- Basically creates a landing page for us without having to communicate (and pay) for our web development team to make one - Visually appealing - Pushes onto a strong event searching pool - Built-in analytics dashboard very useful for quick insights on event campaigns
- Landing pages it creates is fairly generic (looks like any other Eventbrite landing page) - Revenue payment is delayed for us until post-event, leaving us a bit stranded at times for cash - Customization of page difficult without extensive coding knowledge

I have used Eventbrite for personal and professional events. I love that the tickets go right to my email and are easily added to my calendar.
As a BCBA, I attend workshops for continuing education. Many of these have been moved to remote classes. Event rite is almost always the platform used to register for these events. Event rite is easy to use and sends me reminders before the event begins. Very useful and easy to navigate.
There are no cons to using this platform that I have run into. The program runs smoothly every time.

I really enjoy Eventbrite. I usually print my ticket out and it gives me all the information I need to get to my event.
I like the formatting and ease of use. It is easy to set up an event and provide the goer all the information they need (even payment options) all in one place. This is like a higher quality e-vite. It keeps track of who responded, counts your total coming and declined. It provides the goer a ticket to print off if needed. I also like that it sends reminders to patrons.
At this time I have not had any issues with the software.

Honestly, this is an incredible software for tracking your event. Not only can you see the guest list with ease, but you can promote, create, track, etc all for free. It's very straightforward and an incredible software for both minimal and more complex events. There is also software that allows for creating events with different price points; and as a bonus you can follow up with users when you recreate the event the following year. This saves on a lot of advertising costs.
Settings were sometimes hard to find, and customer service was not there to support or guide you when you were lost. I think if you aren't computer savvy, you may want to find a more simple program.

I have used Eventbrite for my duration as a marketing professional. I use it for all large events where registration is required. There isn't any other software out there quite like it.
Eventbrite is a very comprehensive event management software. It allows you to set up an event, invite and manage guests, communicate with guests, and you can even host your event online.
Sometimes the Eventbrite website can be a little clunky to navigate and find exactly what you are looking for.

Excellent
- Easy to search events - Easy checkout - Great prices - Download ticket straight to iPhone
- Service fees, but basically all ticket platforms have this and service fee is fair for Eventbrite

This is such an easy software to use to buy tickets from and is very secure for any payment you have to do for tickets. It has a clean design and navigation.
I do get annoyed that once I buy tickets for one event at a certain venue through eventbrite, they will continually send me updates about other events going on at this venue, regardless of whether or not you check the box saying "please give me more information about the venue's future events". I have marked them for spam countless times and yet they still keep popping up in my inbox.

I used it when I have a virtual and/or in person meeting. I love the way it makes a note of each participant
When you want to organize a meeting and need to collect monies, register participants and send notes about the meetings, Eventbrite is available for it
Sometimes, it sends too many reminders to the participants and they complain when they come to the meetings

Eventbrite is a useful tool because people know how to use it, they are familiar with it, and it's user-friendly. We have used it to list a few events and have gotten OK results.
Although I am not usually worried too much about design, there weren't too many ways to customize things on the back end. Of course they also take a cut of the profits although the fees were reasonable.

This app is great, mobile and web both. I have not created any events but I have RSVPed to a number of events. It is also great way to find things to do.
I honestly I cannot think of any negatives. I have never had issues with RSVPing or getting to an event that takes eventbrite.

I like that Eventbright is easy to use and lots of companies use it so you can register for their events.
Sometimes when you use Eventbright to register for events your receipt tells you the name of the event but not the actual company that is putting on the event.

This app/software allows staying connected with the world. I've used it to book formal events, events related to the university, cultural events and many more. The categories of the event which can be selected are set up to be very good, which goes well with the online, in the app, ticket purchase option.
The is very less to dislike about this app/software.

I've used this software several times now when registering for corporate events. I've only ever used it as a user but it's very straightforward and is very easy to sign up. I've come across other software where something as simple as registering for event gets confusing but Eventbrite makes it easy!
There really isn't anything that I don't like about this. Like I mentioned before, it's very straight forward from a user perspective and I love that you can attach the event to your Google calendar!

- along with creating events, you can discover 'n' number of events happening around in various categories (art, academics, politics, festivals)- the look of the platform seems very refreshing and dynamic- option to check out the trending events' category- quite effective in building social connections through an event management platform
- you may get a lot of emails if you've signed up for different events, although that is something we can unsubscribe

I’ve been an early adopter and I love how over the years, the app gained many new features but was able to retain its ease of use for everyone. It’s such a powerful tool, invaluable for anyone who has to organize and manage any events – from birthday parties to big conferences. The search and browsing features are definitely the things that sets this app apart from competitors.
Sometimes pages are so crowded with information that it might become hard to scan and process them – a little redesign and small improvements in the UI could definitely help.
