Great platform to invite people to events. It's easy to use and it really helps to make the organization of an event easier.
I didn't find any cons while using the platform.

I fancy the software with its ability to create events and even advertise it, can share details to people via email. You can create free events as well as paid of which they'll take up a percentage from the tickets sold which I believe its a fair share.
I have no problems with the platform I think it works well as intended.

Selling tickets easier
Being able to duplicate and publish events within minutes, having multiple show times for one event, creating seating charts with reserved seating and general seating.
Fees can get pricey when selling higher price tickets. Refunds are easy but take a while to process.

very user friendly, can easily select events and ticketing options. good breakdown of menu options and payment procedure is good.....a good match up for the long standing ticket king.....ticketmaster!
less flash adverts which obstruct the ticketing process (especially when on a timer)! a summary page would be helpful

Overall, I love this platform. It has everything you need.
I love Eventbrite. It is so great to be able to create events on this platform. It gives you all the fields you need and is easy to use. I also like that it suggests upcoming events in your area and connects to your calendar on your phone when you sign up for an event. That way you will never miss your event.
I don't have anything negative to say. This is my goto software for creating events and would highly recommend it.

Overall, great product and convenient
This software is definitely user friendly and professional. I love that they offer a free platform for non-profits as I am in HR Recruitment and have put together invitation only interview days using it.
While it is professional looking, customization is limited so I'm unable to be as creative as I'd like.

I've been using Eventbrite for over 2 years. It is awesome for small businesses and busy companies for those who don't have time to put a staff person on selling tickets for an event.
Eventbrite has made setting up local events so much easier. They process payments, populate lists, and make the entire ticket selling a cinch!
The fees can be a little high (You can pay the fees yourself, or incorporate the fees into the price of the ricket- your choice), but it's worth it for less work on my staff's end.

Nice central location for local events for tracking attendees and for selling tickets. Also makes it easy to send out invites for recurring events too. Confirmations give ways to automatically add event to many calendars as well
Have not had an issue but if mailers get sent often, might be easy for users to miss a notification

Eventbrite is easy to use. It also does a great job of promoting out local music scene. The fees for the tickets are not outrageous either.
I do wish since the tickets are electronic that we wouldn't be charged processing fees. We aren't having them mailed or printed so I feel its just pointless to pay that fee.

With Eventbrite, I get my attendees registered, they get an email receipt instantly to their email, and I get insight reports. I love everything about this program.
This program is perfect for organizing your event. With options for free or paid tickets, you can also offer a discount code, have attendees information, issue refund if needed. I also love the tracking tools to see who has registered and the total amount of registrants and it also tracks your sales.
There is nothing I do not like about this software.

There are many event applications out there but the one I have had the most experience with is Eventbrite. It is for the most part very easy to use. I most recently had to purchase tickets for a networking event. It was a simple, secure process to pay either by debit or credit card. There is also a Paypal option which is helpful. I received immediate confirmationof my tickets by email. In the email I was encouraged to download the mobile app which I have done.
It is hard to tell fraudulent events on this platform and difficult to get a refund of payments. Other than that I have had no negative experiences.

It has the ability to store you information and will send you info on events similar to ones you have attended or purchased tickets for in the past. Some may not like this feature as it can clog up your inbox, but it has alerted me to some under the radar events that I would have never realized were taking place nearby.
The processing fees that are associated with buying tickets online. I realize that this isn't really a criticism of the software, it's just a gripe in general.

I've used this for my own events and integrated their API in a startup project. Overall, the functionality is great and does what it is supposed to.
- Easy and simple ticket creation - Makes managing and tracking tickets a breeze - Can be used for online events, webinars, offline events and conferences - Pricing is reasonable
For software developers: - Their API caused many problems in a project a couple years back. Be prepared to spend more time than you think for integration of systems into custom web platforms.

My overall experience has been pretty good. I have continuously used this software for events and have been pleased.
Check-in process is easy, ticket sales are super easy and an excellent main hub for all events, big or small. Using this software just makes the entire event process and experience smoother. You can also create customized data reports.
In some situations events have been canceled with no advance notice of refund offer so this is something that needs to be worked on.

If you are organizing a lot of personal or professional events and need a light solution or an advanced functionality to host, plan, take payments, and promote events, Eventbrite is a wonderful solution.
I love the mobile app for registering and creating events, they have easy ways to take payments, produce ticketing, and even create promotions within the software.
I don't like the UI, especially on the app, because it forces you to click multiple times and navigate too many directions to find out about a specific event.

Overall, Eventbrite is our go-to for managing and tracking our upcoming events. While it may not always be the most cost-efficient option, it's by far the easiest to use - which makes the small pricing difference worth it.
Eventbrite makes planning and managing our corporate events incredibly easy. The options to create different types of tickets, different availability and waitlists make it simple for us to see what we need to push and promote - as well as reach back out to attendees and waitlisters. I also love how easy it connects to social media platforms.
The fee per ticket purchased is a little more expensive than other ticket management programs. Other programs have flat fees that make more sense for some of our events. Additionally, I also would like to see more development in the MailChimp integration.

I like that it was one of its kind for so long and the ease of use. I've used this for all events and I've never been disappointed even learned new apps they have, like organizer.
I think the software, in which it currently is, should rebrand. There are newer apps coming out providing more features and options.

We are typically very pleased with the EventBrite experience.
Eventbrite helps us keep our ticket sales organized and together in one place. We can easily find them with event details when needed.
Our number of ticket purchases on one email account were limited. This forced us to used a separate account, causing confusion.

Eventbrite makes it really easy and affordable for small organizations to promote events and get the word out. They also process all of your ticket purchases so you can focus on the event itself.
Their customer support is not the greatest. They are really difficult to get in touch with since they don't offer live support.

mostly use it for fundraising and social events where we don't want to use a formal productions agency. this is a great alternative.
Eventbrite made it simple to organize our events, even if you are not charging any monies in your event you can use this platform to have a correct headcount and RSVPs from your invitees. I used for pay and free events, when you charge for events you get the monies in a simple way once you understand their procedures is pretty much all simple to use.
people may not like to pay a fee for using the tool, but its much more reasonable than other platforms. in the end it worth the efforts, but money is always and issue.

Love how easy it is to use. Having it incorporated into Facebook events has been helpful although the automatic import into Facebook doesn't have all the functionality so I don't do it like that anymore.
I like that public events added can reach more people in the EventBrite network. Being able to duplicate similar events and easily email and export attendee lists is helpful.
We charge $5 for most events and the fees at that price are insane and have forced us to use a differnt platform for our $5 events.
