I’ve used it for online ticket booking and it’s worked great.
This reservation software is much easier to use and offers more features than similar software that I’ve used in the past.
It’s so easy to check booking stats that you’re tempted to check it at an time, even if your not at work.

My old system was a "square peg in a round hole". The FareHarbor system feels tailor-made for my business. Just exactly what I needed!
It is a system that is a great fit for my small charter / tour operation.
For some of the functions there are a lot of critical steps that can trip me up sometimes.

Easy to use the admin site and works well with the ticket or group-based sales model as well.
A high % of fee needs to be paid by the customer, which can push customers to buy ticket on other sites.

This product is very unique, I've used various ticket managers throughout the travel/tour industry and I found this software to be very efficient, effective and professional.
This software keeps everything organized and precise. The software has a lot of safeguards and keeps your account up to date, all the customer orders are labeled and easy to read. Guests and hotel personnel can navigate through it quicker, this software is definitely user friendly. I also like the sync option with Trip Advisor, it helps our guests provide more reviews.
The calendar can be interchangeable but when you go into the tour tab, it will only show you one tour at at time. Also, when the tour links appear on social media, the link is not personalized, instead it gives you a Fareharbor company logo with the word free across it.

Cost of the software is what I like the best. Thought it would be an issue for customers to pay the per ticket fees, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
Reports not detailed enough. We have a difficult time trying to see when deposits are made and how they are reported as broken down. Need more detail.

Revenue has more than tripled from online ticket sales. All of our reservations are housed in one place giving multiple departments access to manage and monitor bookings. It has streamlined our process for managing our daily tourism business.
It's easy to navigate. For ticket sales, the process is easy for both consumers and staff in creating bookings, purchasing tickets and processing payments. And the reporting tool makes it easy to monitor sales and track growth.
After using the software for almost a year, we haven't had any limitations prohibiting us to grow our manage our bookings.

It works. It is 100% stable. Easy reporting. Easy for my staff to use and easy for our customers to use. And, they have GREAT customer support.
Its the most expensive of the various ticket processing programs that we have used, but I in this particular case, you get what you pay for. Its expensive, but its worth it.

Better productivity, record keeping, reporting, etc etc!
Super easy to use! Even our older ticket staff catches right on. Its intuitive and quick. It's fun working with software that is so thoughtfully designed. The customer support is top notch with real people actually answering the phone when you call.
I can't think of anything. If there is, it would be minor tweaks. I know a lot of other local companies in our area are switching over.

Cost effective, fully customisable solution for my small but growing tour company in Northern Ireland. Excellent customer support, technical knowledge, friendly account managers and aftersales assistance. Makes marketing and selling my products a breeze, content in the knowledge that my account manager is there for support and assistance, whatever the issue.
The software vendor really holds your hand throughout the set up process, all the while ensuring that you learn how to work the system back end and tailor-make the solution for your business. Excellent customer support with easily available, informative and friendly account managers. I cannot fault the system or the support.
Like all such software solutions, the back end is a tad clunky, but the more you use it the more intuitive it becomes. Of course there is always the brilliant support from the account manager when you hit a wall!

My tour company's primary ticket selling is online. We switched over to FareHarbor in Oct 2016 and have been very happy with their software and the customer service. The system is easy to use with tons of functionality, and the FH staff provides thorough training and support.

The pros would have to be the ease of refunding, ease of use in regards to creating items and editing existing ones. The reporting is a pro for sure. You can really tailor your reporting to what exactly you need to see. The flexibility of the software in general is the best. Con would be a little slow at times and the management of disputes.

We have transitioned from using $350 ECRs in our main ticket booth that gave out small pieces of paper with limited information as tickets, to our new web based lap top computers with BOCA ticket printers. Additionally FareHarbor made it possible for our web site to offer our large variety of tours in a very customer friendly fashion. It was a huge shift for us and the learning curve was made incredibly manageable by the support we received from FareHarbor. There were many phone calls and web conferences as we custom tailored the software to our needs. Overall a very good experience. We would highly recommend this company.

We used FareHarbor to manage all of the ticket bookings and sales for our first annual 25-night Halloween attraction, Hawaii Haunts. FareHarbor created a custom site that met all of our ticket sales/reservation requirements and was extremely easy to use! Not only was the software user friendly, but the best part about FareHarbor was their awesome customer service! Our account manager was extremely responsive whenever we needed a change to made, had questions about the software, or needed trouble shooting. He also provided in-person training for all of our staff. We are very happy with FareHarbor and plan on using them for future events.

We found that the software allowed us to have a much higher level of customer service.
We found that the software was very easy to set up and once going was very intuitive on the backend. Our customers seem to also like using it. Fareharbor allows us to have a much higher level of customer service.
Honestly, I cant think of many things that we like least. The only problem we have encountered is that we use large format tickets and originally the software didn't accommodate our ticket stock but since then they have made changes to accommodate custom tickets.

One of the finest attributes of the product is the encrypted safety feature used to purchase tickets by my clients. We had never used an online reservation system before. We were still stuck in the olden days! It took roughly one week from when we decided to use the system to when we sold our first online ticket. They were and still are extremely helpful with every question I ask! They are always improving their system and adding many useful features.

I have not found something that I don't like.

Just finished Festival of Sail 2016 here in San Diego and FareHarbor just worked. Main areas that really shined were the event reports and manifests. We need "paper" manifests due to ship assignments, regulations and FairHarbor just made life so much easier during this busty hectic event. Was the smoothest event ever thanks to FairHarbor.
One page ticketing, the manifests & reports, being able to send remote buttons to other organizations and track sales that happen thru their website. With the button options, they can go directly to a calendar, or an event page, or directly to one day events ticket page bypassing the calendar all together. Makes for fewer clicks for the customer to buy. Also you can set-up an events pretty quickly and the calendar features for assigning times and dates are pretty robust.
Wish the customer view calendar had better distinction between months and I think the way events show on a particular day could be clearer. Some people (very few) have had confusion and bought tickets for the wrong day, but it's super easy to rebook someone to another day. Also wish passing on the credit cards fees was more straightforward, but the solution that was set-up for me works good enough but it's sort of a hack.

Every theater owner is unhappy with their ticketing software. It is expensive, doesn't do what you want and the company charges for licenses and customizing hours. You pay per ticket. They lock you in. Blah blah blah... all the bad things about software vendors. FareHarbor does it differently. They build you a website, give you free customer support, and don't charge you for your walk up, phone or comp business. THey do charge 6% of all online sales which is high, but I love this new model!
You can tell it was built for activities operators first. Minor complaint.

We started the boat company and we were looking for a ticket partner. Luckily Fare Harbor found us and reached out to us, we never heard from them but we decided to give it a go. It was a success straight away because we had no worries about selling the tickets online. They made a awesome website. Besides that, they gave good advice and were always very kind and helpful. I'm sure Fare Harbor has great potential to because huge and how these guys are going I believe this is already a big success but they will go bigger and bigger.
Fare Harbor is a great company, fair people, 24/7 customer service, very polite always and a good system. We are very happy with Fare Harbor as a partner. They made a great website so we could focus on our speciality: Boat tours. Fare harbor helped us with good advice and now adays they even have Dutchies which helps a lot. We are expanding with Fare Harbor.
The Software is big and endless. Some things are not easy to find out.

FareHarbor has been crucial in helping us manage our tours for the 'Iolani Palace. It is easy to use in terms of allowing guests to book their own tours, while letting us make quick adjustments to group scheduling. We always appreciate the fast customer service when we run into issues; David has been very helpful in implementing changes to our tour group packages as needed, as well as adjusting settings to make booking easier. Since implementing the online booking service, our ticket sales has gone up about 10%. Overall, FareHarbor is a useful and efficient tool both for guests and staff.

Our non-profit arts organization / national historic landmark started shopping for a new ticket vendor amidst the pandemic when our formerly tried and true ticketing vendor (BrownPaperTickets) became negligent and withheld earned income from ticket sales for our events that took place in 2020. A sales rep from FareHarbor had been regularly reaching out to check in with us and see if we wanted to learn...
The customer service team has been exceptional in providing complete information and support throughout the vetting process and then getting us set up, customizing our dashboard, training our staff, and continues to be highly responsive and supportive. It also integrates seamlessly with our website and is exceptionally user-friendly, not to mention how beautiful it looks!
So far we have not yet encountered anything we don't like about FareHarbor and their services. I'm thankful that the sales team was as persistent as they were with our organization in trying to share their product with us, or we may not have known it was an option for us. Thank goodness she kept calling, how many people can say that?

After trying three different companies for booking my ghost tours, I was beginning to despair that any company could meet my needs. Then along came Fare Harbor. It's perfect! Although I have only been using it a short time, my customers are giving me excellent feedback on the ease of ticket purchase. The set-up of the account and the items was painless, and Fare Harbor tech support added the code to my website for me. We had it online in two days. Payment is swift; the records are excellent. I just couldn't ask for more. How I wish I had found this system several years ago!
