Pros

It's easy to use and our customers like the system. They enjoy knowing they are getting a reward for being loyal to us.
I enjoy how easy it is to have multiple businesses stored in the app for loyalty reward tracking.
My overall experience is pleasant, I think Five stars is great because it helps the business owners to gain more attraction/ traffic and the customers point of view is receiving discounts/ bonuses.

Pros

Loyal Zoo has been so great during the last couple of months for us. Our customers are starting to get familiar with it and hopefully they will all have their names on by the end of 2021.
Integration was very simple and easy to launch. What I like most is that I can use the least amount of personal information possible and the mobile sign in is awesome.
This is such an easy program to use. We have had very few minor mishaps and overall have been very happy with the convenience and ease of this product.

Cons

They didn’t wanted to to anything about their mistake!, they told me that’s what it was showing on their computer and that’s what it was, I had to call my bank to dispute the transaction.
And as users, they don’t notify us to use our points before the company opts out. Resulting in waste of points and eventually loss of customers.
It's hard to remember which places use five stars and in the app it's annoying to have to press the bubble again to get out of the business rather than just pressing out (it won't let you).

Cons

There was one problem when I was away from work and I needed to look up a client but forgot my password. I emailed them and I was not able to get it until the next day.
When they bring it back, we enter the info and the missed points from the first visit at our convenience when we're not busy.
I miss being able to write notes on customers accounts.

Trying to keep customers coming back by offering rewards and to be able to earn new business but it just didn't work out for us in the ednd

Pros

It helps to organize your loyal customers and even new customers and ones that haven't been back in a while. If someone is loyal, it gives them rewards and if someone hasn't been back in a while, it reminds them.

Cons

I found the cost disproportionate to the return you gain by the customers. After using it for a about 6 months, we decided it was more expensive to upkeep than what we got in return.

Nice people. Very helpful. Good support. Decent training. Not everyone can teach.

Pros

It's easy to use and our customers like the system. They enjoy knowing they are getting a reward for being loyal to us.

Cons

Too expensive for what we are getting out of it. The only reason we keep it is because customers expect a rewards program everywhere they go. They requested it, so we got it. They like it and feel like they are getting something back for being loyal to us. It is really an expense we wish we didn't have. The only thing we do with it is keep up with the points for rewards. Can't afford any other services out of it. We're a small mom and pop. Maybe is better for larger companies with more profit margins.

Pros

I visited a lot of restaurants and teahouses that used Fivestars and it got me thinking about using it for the coffee shop we have. It's been an awesome tool to reward loyal customers, and keep others coming back for more great deals that we have.

Cons

I have liked Fivestars so far and I don't think I have a complaint about it. It's even good to list nearby deals for our loyal customers.

I like the map that allows you to search for businesses that use 5 star. In some ways it can be fussy, you have to make sure you zoom in on a particular section

The fact that it doesn't populate businesses that use it in your town. You have to actually pick a section on the map to search

A wallet in an app (or phone number)

Pros

Eliminated the need to always carry a wallet full of stamp cards for all my favorite stores that I frequent in order to claim my free rewards for being a loyal customer to their store.

Cons

The only thing that I dislike is that it's not available everywhere, I love this app and wish they were able to get it in more places like restaurants and coffee shops.

Overall great app for anybody wanting to save a buck or be rewarded for their purchase. It's great that customers are being rewarded for being loyal

Pros

Points actually accumulated fairly quick and the program is so user-friendly anybody from a child to a senior citizen can use it with ease

Cons

In my opinion the only downfall is I can't go back and review what I purchased for what I'm getting points for only the amount spent

I get rewards all the time with five star, which keeps me loyal to specific businesses. I think five star is great for small businesses building a customer base.

Pros

I like five star because it's an aggregate rewards program. So I don't have to carry around Punch cards or coupons or whatever, it's all available by phone number

Cons

Sometimes I feel like employees don't explain it to customers very well.

I was able to assist my mom at her store with this software, I created specials and sales and was able to let our most loyal customers know about them via text message! It doesn't get better than that. Also, so easy to use!

Best way to market your local business

It's been a great addition to the company. The customers love the perks we're able to provide because they purchase with us. It's very smooth with our POS system and transfers over the information needed.

Pros

I love their "Love Local Network" program. It has allowed us to be "seen" more by more companies and customers because of their app. We sell a pretty good amount of products so to be able to offer them rewards and points is great for making them loyal.

Cons

This is kind of pricey. Plus they keep it a secret until they make you put in all this info and call you.

We added Five Stars about 6 months ago and our customers LOVE it and so do we! It gives me the freedom and creativity of rewards for my loyal customers when I use # hashtags. I highly recommend using this for your business!

Pros

I have 2 tablets to use, and they both have locks for security purposes. I like how easy it is to sign people up and instantly reward them for being great customers.

Cons

Once is awhile there is a problem with the touch screen responding to the number key selected.

We run a plumbing company and customer loyalty is of the utmost importance. Repeat customers are able to help your business grow. They also recommend you to their friends and family. We believe that customers deserve a reward for referring business our way. We tried to do this manually and it became too difficult to track. Fivestars makes creating loyal customers fun and simple! Our customer referrals have gone up since using Fivestars.

Setting up and managing a loyalty program may incur costs, particularly for issuing rewards, managing the associated technology and promoting the program. We have only used FiveStars for one season so far. It gives us great and immediate access to our best and most loyal customers. The automated system does a great job of creating return business. The ability to create custom promotions pays for the monthly fee. The most important thing is to give your staff training and incentive to sign up your customers to the Five Stars Program. My only complaint is with the birthday promotion. It needs to be more flexible and allow for more detailed offers.

can't say that there is anything I don't like about the program. I was able to schedule announcements in advance which saved time. My customers appreciated not having to carry around a plastic or paper punch card. The tablets were easy to set up. Customers responded so well with the program. I want to be able to link to my POS system to automatically redeem points. I am not a fan of entering the rewards into two systems or having to manually enter it into the POS I would prefer it do it automatically or be able to click to redeem them and it syncs to the POS and eliminates the human error of entering the discount wrong. The Program as a whole is really great! They are always offers updates and continue to add new features while keeping the price the same. The pricing is great especially compared to other Loyalty apps out there like Fivestars, which is almost double the price. The fact that you get to send text and email straight to your customer base really helps to keep traffic coming to you store. All in all i am very happy with my service

Cons

There are just a few thing I feel need work. They offer double points that can be turned on manually at anytime. I wish you were able to have the double points put on a schedule to automatically be turned on when you set it to. I also wish they offered a birthday offer to our customers. The previous reward system we used offered this service and our customers really liked the extra little bonus during there birthday month.
