Pros

It has so many features and functions that are super useful from sending emails, keeping track of prospects, clients (and so much more) - all super easy to use.
Having a central place for all of our information, and the ability to tag people automatically has saved lots of time and definitely increased or ability to connect with clients and sell.
We are more than satisfied with our experience. Infusionsoft is recommended as the platform par excellence for the management of email marketing campaigns.

Pros

They also have a large number of plans available, are affordable, and there are a good number of independent technicians out there that can help you with your data, and design third party add-ons too.
Really excellent technical help if you want it. We use it for monitoring our membership, probably only using a few of its features.
Easy to use and easy to setup, the software is ready direct from installation and the built in reporting and functionality is fantastic.

Cons

When you leave it idle, rather than timing out gracefully, you lose any unsaved info. I know that's more of a "my workflow, why the hell aren't you saving your work" issue, but it's still annoying.
The access to files and photos and emails is so limited and difficult and time wasting that I scream at it every time I use it. I hate this product and have for a while.
The lack of sales functionality. I was really disappointed with the way it's labeled to do it all but compared to other sales CRM's it's far behind.

Cons

Sometimes switching between databases causes the software to crash. It has been a problem with most versions we have used.
We have been frustrated over the years by the number of crashes and freezes. Occasionally an import will not import correctly and the data in put into the wrong fields.
In my business my CRM is my navigator and used as a main part of my business day. The down time is ridiculous.

Powerful but big learning curve

somewhere along the way, the software rules changed and my campaigns act differently than when I first created them

Literally does everything needed

I really like that I now have everything in one place that I can check in on and work within. So now my landing pages and emails database and campaigns are all easily accessible.

Pros

I think it is great that the software will recognise what my users do and act accordingly which means my system becomes automated and leaves me free to work on what I am best at.

Cons

The one problem with the software is that it is a beast of features and I can easily get lost in the minefield.

The BEST tool available.

I have tried all the other CRM products (Salesorce, Sugar, MSFT, ACT, Goldmine, Daylite, Streak, etc). The one thing that Infusionsoft has done that allows us to be successful is the intuitiveness of customizing the various tools to streamline our processes.

InfusionSoft for New Marketing Employees

Overall I am very happy - we haven't had a real CRM since we moved from Act a few years ago and that didn't work for marketing items, mostly for tracking customers. The templates for email campaigns are great and overall, like I said, the platform is very easy to use once you get the swing of things.

Pros

I really enjoy Infusionsoft for it's way to track a prospect or customer through tags, as well as the prebuilt campaigns that we use through the Technology Marketing Toolkit services. Infusionsoft overall is fun and a bit overwhelming when you first start using the software, but once you send a few campaigns it is very easy to navigate through to keep the marketing flowing.

Cons

There are 2 things I would change (or like to see revised) - performing mass updates to a campaign for multiple prospects so you don't have to do each one separately... sometimes when I have 30-50 to update, I find myself spending 10-15 minutes thumbing through the action sets to find the correct command and hoping it goes through. The other thing I would like to see added is a true pipeline to track leads so I don't have to use our ERP (Autotask) for that function. All I have found in Infusionsoft is an order placer but that is cumbersome and don't help me track leads correctly so I have to use Autotask and a custom spreadsheet I built.

Scalable software that proves ROI at every stage of Implementation

This software is one of the easiest to implement and use. The phone support is great. Every representative I spoke to was knowledgeable and eager to assist with my issue. I don't feel like I am "nickel and dimed" for every discovered need and solution. The reporting is excellent as well!

Pros

Under-resourced teams, time and money are all too common in today's marketplace. This software allows for integrated online marketing, using ONE system. We use it for campaign reporting, to measure what is working and what is not working by source/channel, and deploy email campaigns. Measuring campaign interactions and sharing an activity with sales through text SMS, Outlook 2016 and Survey Monkey enables the sales team to act fast and have better more informed sales conversations.

Cons

I wish more integrations were out of the box, and not just custom APIs.

Struggles in B2B

I like their culture, and I've learned a lot from a marketing perspective, just from watching how they market to me. I'm excited to use the automation tools that drive their engine because there is tremendous upside there. But it hasn't been easy, and it's not as smooth as it should be. The automation has to really do amazing things, or this is going to be a very long year waiting for the contract to finish.

Pros

I like the SaaS approach to CRM, without the Salesforce pricing. Their implementation was a great help on building the campaigns initially.

Cons

First, they outsource their implementation to other marketing agencies, who act as partners. I didn't care for that. Then, implementation really only focused on the campaigns. We ended up doing everything else in house (contact imports, integrations with other software, process definitions, etc). We kept running into limitations with the software. We are a small B2B company, 33 employees, 1000 customers...

Infusionsoft refuses to make simple fixes. Terrible for business to business!

I'm business to business and have spend over $100,000 on development to overcome its inadequacies.

Pros

Not sure. It has lots of functionality but most everything is clunky. Only comes with 99 custom fields and you can't modify the home screen. When you click around it always defaults you to a place you don't want to be. If you look up a contact it insists on defaulting you to first name and it has a nasty delay. So if you want to search by company you will start typing and then after the delay...

Cons

It uses a flat database that is terrible for business to business. No primary fields or tags so if you add a company contact there is no way to tag or have company related field data updated to the new contact without expensive api coding from your website. They added linkedin, facebook and twitter years agobut didn't include the fields in the mass update section. What does this mean? When linkedin...
